Not so surprising to me. The Char B1 is a crap tank, having bounced several dozen shots from it off the front of my Panzer II Luchs, while my M.K. 103 just ate his HP. The Sau 40 also has a derp gun pretty early on. And not a derp gun like those crappy 122's the Soviets get early on, 120mm reload with a 75mm damage pool..

Japanese tanks for me...... Either that I go the Swedish tank line....

Then again I could always go for the British, start with the Cruiser Mk III end with the Crusader Mk II tank.

I wouldn't be surprised if the B1's gun couldn't get through anything. I wish there was a way to use the 75mm gun, like you could switch back and fourth between it and the 47mm.

I want the Centurion 7/1. With the top turret, looks like a pretty cool MBT.

Would definitely give the Lee an edge. A 75 and a 37.

War Thunder did that..... Seems like a pretty cool idea, since you can fire the Co-Ax, Hull gun, Turret gun, and the MG on the cupola....

And at the Tier an M3 Lee appears in War Thunder, it's practically a heavy tank.

The M3 Lee is fun especially for a Tier 1 but moving up to Tier 2 is fun if you get the Grant I because it's hilariously OP for a Tier 2 tank. Bigger guns but lack the MG sadly.

Wat. The Lee and the Grant are the same thing.. Exact same thing.. The only difference is the country using it.

The game separates them by having the Grant as a premium Tier 2 version of the Lee that has bigger guns and better armour.

That isn't true at all.... it's literally the SAME tank with different paint jobs. I own both.

Me too, but the Grant seems to do more damage when I use it. It may just be coincidence as I rarely play US these days, but I don't think they are the exact same.

The difference was actually the turret.

The Lee turret had the cupola, but the Grant turret did not, the British did so to lower the profile if the entire tank. That's the only difference between the two models.

Italians built good tanks like the Carro Armato p 43

The P43 was never built. It was in an advanced stage, and around two hundred were set for production by 1944, if memory serves correctly.

Not saying Italian tanks are bad. It's just they're cute! They're so small and you can just toss em around (and I'm talking about the L3/35. I know things the P 34 was a good tank.)

I was actually hoping they'd make the L3 the Tier I of the European tech tree, because it was used by nearly every minor European nation from Albania, Austria, Hungary, to Croatia, Romania, Spain, etc. Even Germany had a few models (taken from the Austrians after Anschluss).

Garbage. I'm trying to ground through it to get the FV whatever, but it just it's painful. Bad damage, speed, accuracy.

So is the FV207+

But the Bishop was based on the Valentine II chassis, and has poor gun depression and elevation, so it has to use natural ramps to help it's range.

I'm thinking of aiming for it in WoT and if this thing does get rebooted again, I kinda want it to be my starter "tank".

I bet, but I'm not really an arty player.

Most of the tanks I play are American lights, then all mediums except for Japanese and Chinese, and no French tanks for me.

Who says I'll use it like artillery?

When it wasn't used as an artillery piece, it was used as an assault gun.

It had AP rounds for that purpose.
