Jagged metal across the back? Back scars are easily hidden. Stomach scars... little harder IMO.

Pretty much anything could happen from something like that: broken bones, concussion, jagged metal/glass, etc. Though what I suggested is obviously my favorite so far.

I think I will go with that.

And I could see it being a bit of everything honestly. Concussion, broken bones, big scar from a piece of her plane...I am imagining her spiraling down to earth and crashing pretty hard after all. Just...not hard enough she just explodes into a fireball.

You let an impartial party deal, and either TG the cards or say them out loud, but not as speech, and hope people play fair.

Everyone puts up a certain amount of money, then the dealer gives them 5 cards. They have to make these five cards the best hand they can. 2nd betting round begins, and you can witch out any number of cards. Then, you throw down, and highest hand wins the pot.
