Got the appearance up. Two inquiries: around how many players are we hoping for and how exactly do the skill proficiencies play into our characters actions?

Well, I was hoping for... Eh, I dunno. Around seven or so sounds good right now.

I assume you mean the Ability Attributes. Those play a part when you try to fight melee or do magic, evidently. General Attributes all play a part during either fighting melee or doing magic, as well as other things.

Appearance: Well, since the usually-helpful image search won't help me, here's a description:
Slev is fairly tall for his age, lean but not skinny, with slightly curly black hair and dark blue eyes. His skin is pretty tan, due to his heritage, and he has a small scar going from the corner of his left eye down to his lip, from not watching where he was going while his mother trained.

Likes: Solitude, quiet, being in the company of his close friends, and, for some reason, gorging himself at meals.
Dislikes: Being interrupted in any way, shape, or form will set him off. Probably not a good idea, unless you like losing limbs. He also despises large crowds or public attention, and will avoid these at any cost.
Bio:
Not all planets have recovered from the Chalice War. Slev's homeworld is one such world, where the dragons decimated the planet, leaving a shattered people in their wake. Slev's father, Aogas, joined the Phantom Blade as soon as he was eligible, and became a member of some standing, marrying a woman named Sylvania and having Slev. And so, young Slev was born and raised in the Order, and knew no other home. Slev's mother was a smith, his father a knight, and so he learned of both combat and of smithing, but neither of these was right for the young man. No, he wanted to become a Mage, and so the young boy trained in his magic, becoming quite accomplished for his youth. And, when he came of age, Slev joined the Phantom Blade, and went to the Academy.

Bio: Koren was born on a small, relatively obscure world. As such, much of the activities of the natives went unwatched, as it was to most people fully unimportant. Koren himself grew up in a small, albeit large for him, city. His parents were simple industrial workers, who spent every penny they could muster attempting to fund Koren's education. Tutors and trainers spent their time on him, and allowed his inner mage to flourish. Thankfully, he won a scholarship to the Academy after he impressed a magic instructor who had come to his world looking fr prospective students.

Koren grew up largely friendless, and is intensely introverted. While he can muster an extroverted exterior, he rarely attends social events and prefers studying subjects he finds interesting. Back on his world, everyone he knew obsessed over becoming a Knight, so they could fight in the name of Aradain. Koren himself was never physically gifted, and did not particularly like martial combat. This contributed to his introversion, but thankfully because of this, he became very academically gifted and attained a knowledge of the arcane and technological many people his age would kill for.

Koren enjoys what he calls mental magic, which is the ability to discover both his own mental abilities, as well as the abilities and beliefs of others. This ability, which he is very good at it, can unnerve some o the people he is around, as those who are not astute enough to feel another presence may have there entire mind read by Koren. Koren has not yet done anything but read a mind, but he is eager to continue his studies.
