Sure, but you can't expect Rache and Kristina's actual performance in combat to match their powergrid if you want to take that route.
These armies might have fought, but not as effectively, no doubt.

This event happens, on average, every 50 years but this time around things went badly for the initial defense attempts otherwise they would not have run out of food so early. Though these events are called "Great Sieges" so I am trying to invoke imagery of a siege).
And minor point: The PTSD for both of them are not exactly battle related since it wasn't due to events that occurred on the battlefield per se so they have no problem with fighting. Besides they both have been undergoing treatment for the past several years (10 for Rache, 3 for Kristina and, compared to Kristina, Rache's is relatively minor, the most he gets is nightmares and flashbacks) so they have ways to avoid or lessen their problems with it. Also their Order is used to dealing with such things as PTSD so their treatment of the issue is quite good but not a cure all.
Though let's drop the issue since I do not want to go into their back story or Order's history too much OOC for the moment, especially with ideas I am trying to come up with. I have been having bad headaches lately sorry :P (that and I am on break so I don't want to think).

At any rate try not to give them too much trauma/handicaps. People can only have so much pity for a character's situation.

If it would be more convenient for the others whose characters are in the suite, I can change My last post so Kyr offers a little more of a conversation hook but otherwise I was going to have her start by pretending like there was nothing wrong.

Some of us invented our own languages to use in our characters spell casting. EK and Mort cannibalised a few existing languages for theirs; I just ran a bunch of pop culture quotes through a simple character shift cypher. Kyr's epic spell from her battle with Rache is actually the Litany of Fear from Frank Herbert's Dune saga.
You certainly don't have to do it; for us it was ist a way to get around having to use phrases like "He chanted," or "She uttered," without giving any context as to what the spell casting actually sounds like.

Off topic I finally managed to cross Transistor off my backlog, it made me think of here on account of the sci fi setting and the talking sword. Transistor's more of a cyberspacey type thing though. Really good, stellar soundtrack that was maybe half the reason I bought it.

It's from the same guys who made Bastion, which I adored, so it ought to be good.

Yeah that's the reason I bought it, I had Bastion for ages but only quite recently managed to finish it all the way through. I think overall Transistor might be a better experience, my only complaint is that the enemies and environments start to feel samey. It's sort of a product of the setting I guess. Bastion was just as interested in its world as it's main characters, arguably even more, whereas Transistor is more intimate. It really nails its two main characters though.

I have such an allergy to buying full price games these days but I think I'll just bite the bullet and pick up undertale, ten bucks seems really worth it for a game everybody says is really something else. I don't really have proper internet at the moment so I wouldn't be able to download it anyway So I guess I'll hold off. I have to grind through per sona again anyway, did you see the trailer for five? it looks rad.
