Id say we could likely start without everyone actually entering the briefing. From experience, some people simply enter RPs where possible and move with the flow from there. Its not terribly hard to sum up previous events from your characters own point of view, as you can see: Though characters were, at the time, already arriving to the briefing, I was able to sum up the actual events in a few paragraphs. There is no reason others cant too.

It would be nice if we could advance the story more, like we've covered the necessity for. Of course, im not OP, so its up to him. But depending on the status of our current operational reediness, the leading officer should give us a basic rundown of our operational parameters and what exactly we'll be doing,
