Actually, I'm pretty happy that people are actually noticing all this shit. The UK and France washed their hands completely on the matter for years.

The funny thing is how Europe is dealing with it after the Gulf States basically tapped out.

Lebanon and Jordan are still taking more refugees than Mainland Europe, even then.

Jon, this was in a perfectly normal university cafeteria on a perfectly normal Fried Chicken Wednesday. There's no debate about it.

I'm just saying, this no longer surprises me.

I once got into an argument over whether Frank Underwood or Napoleon III was a better leader, while a Sikh man danced majestically to his favorite Bollywood songs and wiggled his eyebrows at me.

Oh yes. Anywhere that doesn't border Syria though = colder shoulder than the EU.

They all did. Ned is on the Jedi Council by now.

The one Luke Skywalker created. Because the old one was fucking awful.

I know this because they're dead.

Fun fact; the Golden Age Robin served as the US Ambassador to South Africa.

Because comics.

We had a nine hour power outage. I only noticed it upon waking up at 7, but it was irritating as hell.

The Abbott government turns away refugees while it sets to work creating more. The policy works, yaaaay!

Well, his experience in dealing with corruption and despair permeating every level of society would serve him well over there. .

Truth. But I can't really blame them for not feeling super friendly. Honestly, IS and Al-Nusrah would be missing a trick if they didn't try to smuggle fighters into Israel.

It has my vicariously European far-right acquaintances running out of veils for their racism.

As for me... yeah, no happy thoughts here.

I'm quite literally writing the final scene now.

It is, admittedly, a long scene but for good reasons.

I dislike the fact a lot of work hit me at this time so I couldn't edit as well as I liked, but I think this has turned out fine enough. I should have this up by your Saturday night at latest, and I'm being honest this time.

This was before I lost power for 18 out of 24 hours in the previous day.
