Nat: Night's always in some bizarre state somewhere between "intoxicated enough to kill a hair metal lead singer" and "annoying Mormon missionary sober".
Swith: It's because you're so awesome. God himself refreshes the screen before he types just to see if Nightkill has written anything while he was off somewhere else.

Selyse committing suicide off-screen was a rather mediocre pay-off for her heartbreaking moment in episode 9. The whole aftermath of Shireen's sacrifice seemed rushed as hell, including the battle.
I think the finest moment of the episode was Cersei's part. I feel it was paced a lot better than all other parts of it.
Mind you, what disappointed me the most was Dorne. The scenes with Jaime and Bronn were fun, and the casting for Doran and Areo was fantastic, but we got very little of the last two, and in exchange we had an Ellaria that is not even remotely similar to the Ellaria of the books, and the Sand Snakes, delivering some of the worst lines of the season. Even with the pay-off in Myrcella's poisoning, it all feels like a waste of time and space.

I appreciate Stannis's conclusion in the very Sophocles way it was done -- slow buildup to quick slaughter. I will hear nothing against it.
But I hate Brienne now.
I can't give a fuck about King's Landing anymore. Maybe Kevan can rekindle my interest, but there's just nothing there that's worth it.

Though if Kevin and I have any idea what we're talking about - and we don't - Jon isn't going to die here. At least, not for long.I rather think the Red Witch is going to resurrect him, after deluding Stannis for years into supporting her and sowing chaos in Westeros. Jon is the one she wants, not Stannis.

And then hopefully Davos and Jon play soccer with her severed head, because she got Stannis killed. She destroyed Westeros's last hope at a good king.
Unless Tyrion somehow finds Dany and convinces her to suck less. Which is unlikely.

Maybe they'll reform a Winter's Guard or something out of Wildlings and Stannis' loyal soldiers to fuck up both the Boltons and the Walkers.
