Galnius wrote:I think I am going to create an open world slow RP that has simple tabletop game mechanics (as in dice rolls when you do an action that would be needed). ourse, it could be faster for some. The general basis would involve the planet as it is today, with one catch. Although you would start in this planet, you can enter video games and movies for a short while (otherwise you need a saving role to get out). It would be open to pretty much everyone, and be goofy as hell and serious at the same time. Another mechanic that will occur is me sending you on missions. Mind, for the games and movies, there is a catch. You actually need to get into these things by playing/watching them. For some, that may mean stealing, buying, playing /watching one in the mall, etc. Thoughts?

I like the table top mechanic. I suggest keeping the characters close and working for a common goal. Give them a club of some kind and a guide for direction. Someone or entity that gave them this power. Like the floating head from the power rangers.

My internet is still unreliable. Some days this tablet logs on, other days it can't connect. All I know for certain is that my computer is without internet. Rp wise I'd like to get involved and my current interest is in retro science fiction. I spent a recent morning watching six episodes of Rocky Jones- Space Rangers.

Cleolota, the Gypsy Moons- ha-ha eh I've enjoyed them :)

Edit: I am also into policing and rescue. Also into space westerns. All three of those go with the çoncept of a space Ranger.

My comics are unfinished. I also have no computer software with which to draw.

And my scanner is broken.

Ky-Chan lives in a third world country, and so is deprived of many things. v.v

Also my family got broke all of a sudden. So we need to be careful with the spending.

I wonder, how does everyone see each other on the thread? In the physical manner.

That I would like to hear, like I wonder how everyone depicts each other in everyone's mind.

My image of all of you changes a lot, depending on how much I know about the individual. I don't really have a clear image most times though.

It's cool man, we're just really interested in what things you have to share. Take all the time you need.

And, probably more visages of changing smoke than blobs.

I have to agree, I'd be interested to know what I look like to you lot.

Chimera I imagine as a short girl for some reason, despite knowing he is a guy, probably cause of his flag :P
Ryn, I picture you as the average Texas youth with a cowboy hat, blue jeans, and boots.
Harb I think looks like an older fella.
Also, Jar for some reason to me is like this really well dressed middle eastern fellow, despite me knowing he is British.

Not far off :P
Six foot, one forty pounds, pale as bleach, ironically enough I haven't shaved since before leaving and have a thick beard growing on my neck (Middle Eastern cultures find bearded men trustworthy) and I look like a damn militant -.-" wish I had a razor wroth a crap. I do actually have quite a few scars though, none visible though unless I am naked - you can thank the She-Devil for most of those.

You could not get any further, I'm not that southern...... Much less white or Mexican for that matter, but alright.

As for you, I use to picture you as someone younger but now, I'm not really sure. There's two of you, one is at the end of his teenage years, freckles, about 6 foot, glasses. The other version is a man in his mid to late 20s, short hair, some scars, some facial hair on your face, wearing a US Army uniform.

For Charm, in my imagination I just substituted him for Wilson.

As for Harb, I see him as a normal looking guy, mannerism is kind of skittish (my apologies if I'm wrong, Harb), around 5 foot 9 in? Dark hair, either being brown or black, that's all I can describe with my limited vocabulary.

For PF, I just picture Jonh Lennon based off his own description of himself.

Ky, I see as a walking talking humanoid fox person.

That's all I have for now, that I can remember at least.

Anyway, a tad off topic but I have a new idea. It's a bit short, but it gets the point across.

Galactic Police: Special Mission Unit
It is the future of 2145. Humanity has expanded across the universe and colonized the stars. Lasers, hovercraft and starfighters are common sights in this universe. And the people keeping the peace is the Galactic Police, carefully keeping watch in this brave new world of exploration. It's not an easy job, there are pirates everywhere and weapons of this age can be dangerous. But if they can't handle something, they send in the Special Mission Unit. Established after a disastrous operation in the summer of 2136, the Special Mission Unit handles anything that the main unit cannot, tackling the most dangerous and the most secret missions with no known failures. And one day... they receive their biggest mission yet.

May 8, 2145. It seemed like just a normal day on the Galactic Police HQ. And then, they receive an alert. A group of mysterious bandits have broken into the Institute of Science and stolen dozens of important artificates and tools. But most importantly, they broke into the vault of the Destructor, a confidential and secretive ultimate weapon, only to be used in the most extreme circumstances, taking it without a trace. . After a quick discussion, the head leaders of the Police decide to go to the Special Mission Unit, hoping they could stop the bandits before they used their newfound power. They quickly accept, assembling an expert team to track down and capture the robbers. Little do they know, that by going on this mission they would be facing a long brewing plot that could change the fabric of this futuristic universe permanently.

For me...Av is a pale bloke slightly shorter than me with a baby face and a few scars, buzzcut. In between spindly and stocky, but definitely not large. I kinda see Ryn as a brunette mopheaded dude (as in naturally messy hair), a crooked sleepy grin, and of average height. Ars I imagine as a guy with black, overly straight hair. A bit on the short side and a kind smile that opposes his dark demeanor. Im not sure how ky looks....somehow I also picture a little red fox talking though I know thats not right.....PF I see as a sorta older stoic bloke. Harb I see as a russian guy about my age (20) with a wild look in his eye.

Ryn is close in regard to myself for I am a tax neroutic ;p

I'm often mistaken for a jew if that helps with my appearance. I am five eight (excellent guess Ryn) have black hair a beard glasses and a nose I think is considered imperial. My hair has been allowed to grow out and is shoulder length and has various curles. I have been called an old soul do to my personality though my physical age is 22. I have a widows peak. Ralp frienes is my celebrity look alike.

I see Ryn as near Hispanic brown eyes and green shirt. About 18 years of age.

I've... Not really thought about what charm looks like.

This has caught my interest. Will there be aliens and if so will they be near human?

I see people mostly as flags.

I know what Harb and Avalon look like but I associate flags with them.
Economic Left/Right: -10.0 (previously -6.45)
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.18 (previously -4.72 )
'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves;
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

I ha-ha also do the same, for example, I see you as Bernie Sanders on a windows 97 operating system somewhere in California... I don't know why I see California but that's how I presently imagine you.

I also imagine you'll grin at this :)
