Yes but as a nation Switzerland has not been in a war for three centuries I believe.

Or Denmark, invaded to clear a path to Norway. The Netherlands for no reason at all.

True, poor small nations,
That last part isn't true! They invaded the Netherlands so that they wouldn't look awkward with just Belgium and France under their control. Without Netherlands you can't have nice clean borders and a complete set :p

If you throw in the parts of Russia Germany took and African Conquests then you could say Hitler had the biggest set. Only due to his idiocy in ignoring all the actually good advice for strategy his set was broken in what six years flat.
Proud advocate that Europe stands stronger together than divided. The EU may be flawed in some areas but the idea of a united Europa can only bring good fortune to Europe and the world. For more than two thousand years, Europe was home to conflicts inspired by coveting one another's territory and resources, even making the continent the home to some of the world's most destructive and costly conflicts. But the idea was all wrong in their minds. Their idea was to bring this territory or that under their flag and spread influence on the continent. The idea they should all have been thinking was that the goal should be to bring the continent under one unified flag.

Application:
Nation Name: The Babylonian Empire / The Empire of Babylon
Flag:
Image
Population: ~ 6 million
Capital City: Babylon
Government Type: Absolute Monarchy
Leader/s: Emperor Azhar Al-Mansur
Army Size: 300,000, low to medium training, can grow during war.
History: Seeing as there was very little to nuke in the western mid-east, the region was somewhat spared from the bombardment, although the population is barely higher than many regions that were nuked.
Anyhow, since the governments in the area had fallen apart, a group of people took over Baghdad. Utilizing the city's population and their original force, they went on extensive campaigns, bringing more and more towns and cities into their newfound empire. Their leader emerged as the emperor of the new empire, and he renamed Baghdad to Babylon, and proclaimed a new Babylonian Empire. More and more forces were sent about, breaking out of the borders of former Iraq and heading into the former areas of Iran, Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. The last area to fall was the former nation of Israel, which still had some elements of government and military in existence. This would make Babylon the oldest nation currently in existence.

RP Example: I don't really have any RP's on this account, it's all on different ones.
429 - Do not remove, for tracking purposes

Land claims - Stated in history.
We speak a Germanic language that is not German.
If a non-human ever commands our forces
Anthem (Better)
Techs: PT, MT, PMT, FT, slightly FanT.
Enemies: Non-humans, mainly ponies.

I think you have to be that nation for the entire time, not just claim the title thousand of years after the actual nation fell

I said that it was established almost immediately after the bombs did their damage.

Maybe number four for army size but what about Army efficiency? In that their army can be beat by those of France, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada, Spain, and Japan.

I'm talking about VS. a bunch of random towns and cities, the only real threat being the small remnant of Israel's army.
