I would suggest a lot faster. Even modern day RPs which tend to go faster because of faster communications are not that slow. Or we could have a system where we have something like 2 IC days = 3 days in the RP but then we skip a few months. If we are a government after all we would most likely not meet all the time and our decisions would take time to implement.

It would still take us 2 OOC years to finish 6 IC years.

Yikes alright that is bad. So anyone have any suggestions then?

What if we set it to about two IC weeks per OOC day?

Obviously, individual events that need to be played out in lot more detail can be.

I like it. If I can get a large group of people to commit to that I'm fine with it.

Issue is land military movement, sea movement itself is likely fine.

Alright so Japan and the USA will be mapped tonight, followed by the IC launching. Still following the pattern of 1 real day to 2 IC weeks. That means it would take a ship travelling at 30 knots about 5-6 days to cross the Atlantic.

I cant find a interesting character for the US so i'm switching to China to play with Nova in Asia
Nation:Jade Confederacy
Player Name: Chiang Kai-shek
Position:Head of State (De facto)
Experience: Lots of experience in alternate history nation-Rps, with a special interest in the code war era.
Comments or concerns: I cant promise to be overly active since im free one week and then totally swamped the next
Agenda: defend against Japan, suppress the communists, modernize China, take Tibet and Korea in that order
RP/AH Experience: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=211187&start=1025 - one of my earlier but still favorite RP. I played the USSR and almost managed to strangle the West in a global oil crisis. Too bad the Albanian player went yolo and invaded the Western Europe

Seems like it, also China is quite an important player, at least more so than Spain.

Also, a few questions.

1. The map, when did Japan conquer Hong Kong and Macau?
2. Regarding the Alternate History, can we alter the history within reason for our countries with the starting year 1932?
3. Is it true that Hitler did not become Chancellor in 1933, and if so why and who rules Germany now instead?

After 1932, its all yours.

Japan has not yet conquered Honk Kong and Macau, but they have started to move forces towards China. Of course the Japanese team can change this should they wish.

Hitler was imprisoned after the Beer Hall Putsch for a decade, removing his relevancy and therefore the assassination of Kurt von Schleicher, who is now in power still, and is still ensuring the Weimar Republic skirts the Versailles restrictions.

1. Sure, but on the map that area is under Japanese control
3. Alright, I can believe that Kurt Schleicher was not assassinated but Germany could never have stayed Weimar. Their economy was on the brink of collapse by 1933, they had barely any foreign investments and their Versailles debt was only growing as they could not pay it off and the situation was so that if not Hitler had come to power then there would most likely be some military coup or other extreme politics, perhaps communists. Also problem with removing Hitler means that Stalin will just completely steamroll Europe by late 1940s.

This is why this is 'alternate' history, we see what Germany does to get themselves out of their massive debt and how to deal with the threat of Stalin.

Perhaps France purchased some of the Rhineland for revokation of Versailles?

Sure, but unless Germany fixes its economy and fast then it will just go into bankruptcy. And seeing how Kurt Schleicher and the rest of Hindenburgs chancellors did not do anything to fix it I am not sure how.
