Zebras escape zoos, breed with feral/escaped horses in plains and deserts of the south. A few herds of elephants roam the coasts as they are too big to be in numbers, and some giraffes also are there.


And yes, we've got food and timber.

I know a few ways to make use of those horses, and other resources. You have a trade, possibly will be the main reason for Las Vegas to be rebuilt as an economic city of the Empire.

Is it possible to buy lands or rights to collect resources? And I have more problems with Texas right now that I won't be able to have the manpower to try to expand northwards.

That is one of the things holding me up, lol. Our government is mainly concerned with the West, but quakes in the east have the tendancies to ripple west.

We barely know they exist, they are beyond the Rockies, we know there are cities east but that's it.

Plus it seems they are NPC now and maybe even dissolved.

It's all very flat and lightly populated. I just went around saying "okai u r mein nau" and since I have an army that likely equals there population for at least 50% of it...

Even still, that should have some backlash like indie movements or raiders to cause you trouble. I was thinking of expanding northeast to try and rangle up some timber and agriculture for the war, if there is one.

That is the beauty of large, imperial armies, they can march in wilds and plant a flag or banner down and claim it, until some who fights and is trained to do so says otherwise.

We Rangers have more, creative methods on dealing with them without brutal subjugation, unless it's necessary.

Yeah, we view the "barbarians" as people who just need to be made into civilized people, so we usually don't attack them unless they attack us.
P.S. I think it is funny that the guy who is named Vlad the Mad and uses brutal means of execution..... seems to be one of the most noble world leaders.
