So how much roleplaying can really take place now? Can I begin functioning even though I have no one near me? Like can I attack the Guarani territory or send trade missions or something?

My focus is not shipbuilding( mostly because I have very little forestry to even think of having so many seafaring towns to even think of it) Though trade with the Kingdom would shift focus into trying to form a small navy of trade in some way shape or form, and will only grow after this war is settled.

Ok. So I'be been on a self-imposed hiatus (half pouting, half busy with RL) because nothing of interest has happened that I can react too.

What's the state of the world right now? Anything concerning Africa? where are we tech wise.

Lots of new countries in Africa, same tech though a year has passed. But Rylonia, the Frontier and Texas are researching new technologies. Oh and a new player reserved for a NPC nation in South America last night.
