So far the main ideas ive been throwing around in my head have been
1. "The Caravan" (wip name) basically an organization of traders that either function as one big nomadic trading caravan, or function as a whole network of caravans that have all banded together. (a merchant guild kinda) They would hire mercenaries for protection of course, but also have a group of more elite "permanent" mercenary organizations.
2. A smaller hold, protected by a strong group of rangers.
3. A vampire lord that starts from nothing, but is ruthless and plans to grow an empire using any means and dark arts at his disposal. His only care is the resurrection of his beloved queen, who was banished and destroyed by powerful ancient magic. He will be willing to sacrifice the entire world for this goal, though as he grows in power he realizes he will need a strong empire to achieve his goal.
4. A group of orphans, now young adults who have banded together to build themselves a new home. They were the only survivors of a deadly vampire attack (maybe #3's doing) and also seek revenge upon this monster for slaughtering their families and village
5. An orc samurai who seeks to reclaim his home from a brutal orc clan that butchered the men of his family and keep the women as slaves. Doing so will start a revolution in distant lands
5. A. the distant lands where a smaller united human minority rules over fractured orc and goblin majority. The orcs and goblins are kept weak, because they are divided and the human factions keep a few key orc and goblin clans well supplied. These favored clans keep the rest of the orc and goblin populations under control, through brutal means. If the clans united, under a strong leader perhaps, they could destroy these oppressive clans and force the humans to recognize them as equals or perish.
just a couple ideas. what do you guys think sounds most interesting?

Only the Vampires hold any real power, though non-Vampires are able to rise if they gain enough favor with some of the higher nobles.
-Vampire Lords and Ladies
-Vampire Counts
-Vampire Infante
-Vampire Gentry
-Gentry
-Freedmen
-Thralls
Formation: 167 AL after Aliviana was blessed by a kiss from the God of gods Avalar himself.
Succession Laws: Vampires don’t really die, but should one die their estate passes to a relative or an adopted heir.
Gender Laws: Because Vampires are unable to procreate they must either adopt an heir or pass their estate to a relative. (Though Vampires do not die of old age)
Geographic territory: Necropolis and its surrounding lands
Population: 1,000,000 souls, living or otherwise . . .
Military Strength: Twenty thousand infantrymen and eight thousand Cavalry make up the core of the Vampire Horde. And, a further seven thousand other auxiliary troops round out the army. (The seven thousand are magical creatures like werewolves and such)
Military Info: Because all Vampires are capable of combat on account of their great strength, all the Vampires of Necropolis could theoretically be pressed into service. However, the need for this has never arisen. Instead thousands of thralls and other wicked creatures are expended in their stead.
Currency: The Gold Vampir, a golden coin depicting the Lady Aliviana on one side and Necropolis on the other. (Plus some other smaller coins of various values)
History:
Necropolis was once a great and decadent city of men. However, they scorned all other gods save Avalar, and for this the gods grew angry. Massive temples of Avalar were erected while no one even cared to think of throwing up any shrines to other gods. Eventually the gods were so angered that they inflicted their wraith upon Necropolis by cursing the inhabitants of the city to burn under the rays of the longest day of the year. Almost all died save a lone, young woman of royal blood. The princess Aliviana was spared by Avalar who was said to have come on a great chariot pulled by four black horses. He then kissed Aliviana and gave her the gift of unlife, and so the first vampire of Necropolis was born. Since then Vampirism has spread like a plague throughout the lands surrounding Necropolis, with Palatine being hit most heavily.

Speaking of which, what is the general rules of Necromancy in this rp? like does it just go back to the equivalent cost magic of magic. So you sacrifice a dude with magic you can bring back corpses or something like that?
Also as for my ideas I was thinking of combining them all, but using some of them as just back story until I could bring them into the world.
So in far off distant lands (oriental area) There is a Human emperor. Within his empire he commands a group of united human lords, and a couple Orc clans. These clans keep the rest of the orc clans, that are in constant conflict with each other, in line and collects taxes and tribute from them for the empire. Sometimes they use quite brutal means. 1 Orc is the last male heir of his clan that was slaughtered by one of the local leaders of a clan favored by the empire. He escaped his family's slaughter and traveled for 20 years to train.
During that time that orc became a well trained samurai, and found work as a mercenary guard for the "Caravan" after growing in skill and coin, he will be able to hire/persuade a group of comrades to help him exact his revenge upon the people that slaughtered his family, and free the women and children of his family that are now slaves. Immediately after he will have his family and companions find safe passage on the caravan to gain safe passage to distant lands (more local to the rest of you) Being a strong leader the samurai might try to join the local orcs, and through his skill and intellect unite them under a common banner, eventually perhaps becoming something between a small feudal lord, to supreme leader of all the Orc clans, tribes, and families.
Meanwhile a vampire that has been entombed for centuries in a mountain crypt is awoken by bandits. In his years of slumber he has weakened significantly. He becomes wounded and is barely able to escape the bandits. wounded he com upon a shack on the outskirts of a village. Two young women were sent to collect (hay/mead/water idk something) from the shack but go to help what they see as a wounded traveler. He attacks them, and uses their blood to revive himself. He turns them into his "daughters of the night". Soon after the trio infiltrates, and then slaughters/enthralls the village and then moves back to reclaim his crypt in the mountains.
A day or two later the Caravan arrives at the village, finding it burnt to the ground. in the wreckage they find a small group of very young survivors. The Merchant Master (wip name for caravan lord/nobility) pities them, and admires the spirit by which two of the young boys protect the rest of them. He takes them in and names them as part of his charge. Over the years he makes sure to educate each of them well. (from the group I want to develop a blacksmith/knight, and ranger heroes, along with a mage/healer, and merchant/scholar/archaeologist/historian respective love interests.) Eventually they decide together that they wish to rebuild a new home for themselves, with the help of the caravan. I hope to eventually make their small hold, become a prominent location due to the caravan. They'd have a prosperous mill and mine, have a slew of well trained blacksmiths that sell fine arms and armors, and also found a vampire hunting guild.
So I guess the Caravan really ties my ideas all together, and really is the main focus though each of these three stories will advance it. I am going to start in this order. anybody have any other cool ideas/tweaks/suggestions?

Could I have giant tortoises/scarabs that are capable of carrying a small house on their back? My question is the inheritance. Are the two nations going to become one? So who inherits what, b/c Ardruil already has a daughter, right?

....apologies my bad

Wonder how the Palatine are going to take it? A united elvenkind would make a potent threat."Though I fly through the valley of Death, I shall fear no evil. For I am at the Karman line and climbing." - Bentusi SABRE motto

YAY!
In short yes, eventually. Its like the start of a new Adaenarian Empire. Both Minevrion and Nargathror will continue to be seperate kingdoms (and have kings/queens) of their own but they will now be under the rule of the Emperor and Empress of the aforementioned Empire. Therefore, if Ardruil and Irithren do ever have a son or daughter, their children will inherit the title and position of Emperor/Empress after their passing. There's a name for an organisational structure like this but I forgot whats it called.
In anycase. Do you have any better ideas then this....oh and also....a better (less obvious) name for the combined nations?
EDIT
I realised that I made a small mistake. I shouldn't have said "Elvenqueen of Nargathror". Thats wrong as that position is inherited by Vaemidia. It should have been "Elvenqueen of a new nation" or something like that....apologies my bad

Sounds great to me. Perhaps a new name would do nicely. How about the Empire of Vallorion?
