He has the same powers you do and has had them way longer! He's bound to know how to use it better!" He says in an unusually cheerful voice. "That was my first thought, but finding the Flash is a task in and of itself, on top of that, it seems a ton of the big name heroes from Earth just poof. Vanished. Otherwise I'd be talking to Flash and we'd have this sorted out in about 5 minutes. He lives in Central City. I've ran through there a few times and haven't found him. which leads us to our current problem. I'll figure something out."

"Maybe Dende knows what they're all doing. After all, he is Guardian of the Earth. At least, he'd know where the Z Fighters are in all likelyhood.", Kyoten said in a bored, but intrigued manner.

"Well, hold on. You guys know how gravity is sort of my thing, yeah? Well, I could always catch Speed Demon if he started floating away, easy-peasy. Just a quick gravity reverse and he'd come sailing back. Also, you nerds need to get a pressurized suit, like me." He said as he secured his gloves and pulled on his helmet, checking his oxygen levels.

Sentinel/Daniel Carter-Oa
I arrived just in time to catch the last words of the conversation. I was held up by some Green Lantern Members as I was being informed on where the attacks are coming from and where we are needed. I was just coming to inform the team, but I felt as If I needed to address a larger issue first. I allowed my presence to become known as I let the atmosphere sink in. I removed my mask. So everyone could see my face. And if they bothered to look, they did not see a pleased expression. My eyes narrowed as I scanned the team. My mouth was slightly turned into a scowl and I crossed my arms. And spoke very plainly. "Let me make this clear. There is to be no killing. If you cant solve a problem without killing someone, then you are in the wrong place." I passed a glance at Killian, who was good natured but seemed to have entertained the idea of killing as a last resort. "We as a team will get the job done right, not fast or easy. This team is not about excitement, adrenaline rushes or showing off." My eyes darted off to Kyoten. Whose abilities I have immense respect for, but whose mentality was hard to restrain. Even back in the training sims.

"You're race may be proud warriors, but you are not a warrior. Not in Infinite Justice. You are a hero, you will learn the difference." I issued, in a tone I had never before used on anyone in this team. "Or you can leave. Warriors fight and kill to find purpose. They dont care about suffering they inflict or who pays the price in the end if it satisfies their thirst for recognition as a warrior. Heroes protect those who cannot protect themselves. Keeping cities and world's safe. Even protecting the wrong doer from themselves if we have to. If any of you want to join the warriors in this fight." I took a few steps away from the group and pointed out in space, where many of the Red Lanterns and Larfleeze would be coming from.

"They are out there. Go join them. If not, then stay here and get in line. Or leave. When we came together I asked all of you, who would come with me? I never forced any of you to be here. And I wont now. And as a warrior being worthy of honor? A killer worthy of respect? A desperate man with a fifty cent bullet can kill, be called a warrior! Killing is nothing to be proud of." I paused a moment and looked everyone over.

"Katsuo and Daud are right. Those lanterns out there. Many of them are corrupted beings. Unable to exorcise free will any more." I then stopped and pointed at Daud. "Hell, this man right here just three damn days ago were among them! And here he stands, among us. As a valuable ally and hero. If a lantern killed him before, then we would lack valuable insight against our enemy today. It is not our place to sentence death." I then grew silent. Letting the team recover from my verbal assault. But, this needs to be taken care of. Before we are in a battle. I softened my tone and then addressed them all again.

"Some of us, many of us have killed. Or hurt people in our past. Does not matter if it was in defense, rage, uncontrolled urges or anything else. We all have our past. I dont give a damn who you were yesterday. If someone was not willing to look past my past, the wrongs I have committed then I would not be here today. That man gave me a future, one I did not, do not deserve. The red and yellow lanterns we face can still have a future. We can only stop them from hurting the innocent, and if we are lucky themselves. The rest is up to them." I then softened my face some, and then moved to close the speech.

"When all of you nominated me as your leader, you trusted me to lead you. With your welfare, your training and to lead you responsibly. You trusted me then, I ask only you trust me to lead you now." finishing up, I replaced the helmet on my head, and with a locking sound, it snapped into place. Raising my left arm up, a holographic display of Oa and it's surrounding space appeared with green, red, yellow and orange blips on the hologram. The green blips were scattered everywhere. While the Orange blips, the smallest and farthest away were just outside the system. The Red blips were rapidly closing inside the system and entering the orbit of Oa, and the Yellow, through the experience and knowledge of former lantern Sinestro had already forced a landing on Oa, albeit under heavy resistance. So, three fronts.

"We will be creating a recon team. And I will be placing this team under the command of Daud, as he has the most experience in fighting with and against Lanterns. Katsuo, Saikyo, Kyoten and Solar Girl will be under his command. You objectives will be three fold. First, gauge the strength of the Red Lantern Forces and report it. Second, see if there is any signs of cooperation between the Red and Yellow Corps, however unlikely. If a connection is not discovered, then Recon Group will lead the Reds to the Yellows for them to fight each other. If evidence is found they are in league, then keep them separated and divided. And third, investigate the progress of Larfleeze, do not engage him. If pressed by him , fall back to the nearest Green forces and regroup. Once, all of these objectives are completed you will engage the Red Lanterns at will. Subdue Atrocious and repel his attack. You wont be alone, you will have the help of Green Lanterns from around the sector." I then moved on to the rest of the team.

"Kilian, Augustus, Caraline and Gravity will come with me. Since the Yellow Lantern Corp is hitting the planet as we speak, we will engage their forces on the ground. Hold the line and drive them back. Our priority will be apprehending Sinestro. I suspect we will finish this before the recon group completes their objectives. If so, then we will gather the defense of the planet, while those of us who are able will regroup with Recon Force and aid them in their objectives." I then moved onto the critical part.

"Here is the important part. We are playing a time game. We must defeat both the Reds in orbit and Yellow on the ground before Larfleeze arrives, or else we risk the lines collapsing from multiple fronts, especially so if the Reds and Yellows are in league. now, everyone has their mission objectives. On Namek we had a fight, this is a full battle. One we cannot afford to lose." I then finished the briefing, and from my helmet passed my gaze across the group.

"Are there any questions?" I asked, now in a calm tone, that was entirely unlike what I had opened with.

Solar Girl/Sora El/Caroline Kent-Oa
What Kyoten said had begun to worry me. It was a side I had not seen from him, either from not being showed or not wanting to see it. I knew he was competitive and proud. But, the more I see him, especially recently, he almost seems to want to kill. I had expected Sentinel to separate us. After all he is smart enough to pick up on our relationship, when he placed us together, I had a feeling it was to use my influence to keep Kyoten in check. I listened to the speech that Sentinel gave, and I was glad he was still in command. But, was surprised he pulled the leashes so hard. I personally was not sure if he could separate friendship from command, but he seems to do that well. There are strong personalities in this group, myself included. We need someone who can pull us together. Actually, thinking back, he was far more lax on Namek in his command, simply giving orders to those who he felt would obey. Such as myself, and that was a disaster.

It seems he has learned from his past failure, and is now taking a far more active role in leading this group. I took a step closer to Daud, then looked over at Sentinel. "No questions here. I understand and am ready to go." I assured him. I then looked at Daud, first close look since I met the guy, a tall mountain of a man and very muscular. Far taller than Kyoten and physically larger. I am actually a inch taller than Kyoten. But that does not matter much to me. I locked eyes with him and gave him a look that explained he can count on me. But, just to be sure, I told him anyways. "I am Solar Girl, the Kryptonian on your Recon Team. I will be right behind you." I informed my new team leader.

Then finally, looking back at Kyoten, in his Super Saiyan form. Both eager and reluctant to work with him. I passed a smile, trying to convey that this mission will go far better than the last one. "We will take on the Red Lanterns together, show the team the results of our training." I said, both flirting as well as being serious. I then braced myself, waiting to see what would happen next, and preparing myself to face the Red Lanterns. Hoping I would not have to face each other, either verbally or in actions.

Rory finished locking his mask in place and clapped his hands together.
"All right, let's go kick some yellow asses!" He gave a thumbs up to the Recon Team and turned to Sentinel, or Crusader, or whatever he was calling himself now. "What's the plan for the ground, my great and powerful leader?" Rory joked. At this point he was standing on the wall, looking at Dan horizontally.

Regardless, Katsuo was on the recon team with Daud, the Saiyans, and Solar Girl. "Seek and don't destroy. Shouldn't be too hard." He looked around him at all the people who he'd worked with, not even for very long, and decided that they were like a family. Since no one ever complained about their parents, Katsuo assumed everyone kinda thought the same. "I'm ready when everyone else is."

"You're needed. We're gonna go kick the crap out of some Yellow Lanterns." Kilian says. He was thinking about the whole issue. Killing the other lanterns right up would obviously provoke an issue among the team. Dividing this early on wouldn't be the best idea. No if they were going to do this, they would have to do it legally. Something he could and would do when he got back home. "Right behind you Sentinel. How far can you fly with that? I don't want to get too close to the action and then we get blown out of the sky. That would suck." He says. "So remember the plan. Hit hard, fast, go for the rings. Without those they're just hot air, for the most part." The problem ahead for him is that Lanterns can fly. He however was not so lucky. Which means some out of the box thinking and skill was needed.

"They're on a planet. Don't worry. Us mere air breathers will be able to do something." He says in his typical good hearted mood. Though he was almost consistently being pushed to the line most of the heroes would never cross. Making sure some bad guys never got a second chance to hurt or kill innocent people. That meant he would either have to do it in self defense, or because they had already killed someone. He preferred not having an innocent person die to prove a point. Too many have already done that. When he got home he was going to write up some legislation and take the issue to court. If it was taken to a vote, it would almost certainly be a landslide victory.

"Well I do have one question sentinel. Are we going to air drop or arrive on land? I am not fit to drop from space, so if someone could help me I would appreciate it." I said . I really didn't want to die before the mission even started.

"Relax. We're not crazy. We're going to land and those that are going to be on the ground will be dropped off and the ones who can breathe in space will do their thing. It'll be a two pronged attack. Besides, we have a Kryptonian and several Saiyans. There won't be too much they can do to stop us." It sounded like an airtight plan, but things often look better on paper than they work out some times. He hoped it would work out.

As the talks of beginning the mission started to circulate, Kyoten decided now would be a good time to power up. He might not get a chance on the battlefield. He was ready to go Grade 2, but hoped the ship could take it. He turned to his friends, "Hold on to something, I'm going to power up to Ascended Saiyan. It could shake the ship a little.", he said calmly, as he focused his mind at the task at hand. Transforming to an Ascended Saiyan meant he would have to focus all his energy, using it to increase power and speed. A golden aura surrounded him, and his power began to rise. The ship began to vibrate and his muscles began to bulk up, allowing his energy to reach incredible levels. Now the ship shook slightly, and the aura surrounding him grew incredibly large, lighting up the room. Suddenly, the aura went away, and he stood there. His muscles were at least double their previous size, but not big enough to impede speed. He was around 65x his base strength, while normal Super Saiyan left him at 40x. He smiled, "There. I'm ready to fight now."

Cargot turned his head to Kyoten, who seemed to have decided to show off his power. The power of this new form, at least by what he sensed, was staggering. So staggering that it was even scary a little.

"I would have no problems with this if Kyoten was, you know, a good guy, but you just can't trust this Saiyan. Especially if he kills people." Nail said.

"There is a level beyond the Super Saiyan? I can say I'm not really surprised, considering you Saiyans are almost built for power." Cargot simply said beneath his breath.

"I swear Kyoten, you lunch a hole in the ship and I'm going to slap you into last week. Go there and slap you back." He joked. "Kidding of course, but seriously wait until we get to something that actually need a good whack upside the head. Some of us need this ship intact more than others. Me... Augustus... Sentinel... Though I don't know if his new duds are space worthy. The point stands amigo. Calm down." Kilian says and looks ahead. "There we are. Let's land not in the middle of the fighting and try not to lose this ship."

Watchtower - Training Room

Isolated and alone - Omega prepared himself for his latest form of training.

Ever since he had arrived to the Watchtower he had been keeping himself to three main locations: the training room to try and hone his skills; the medication suite for any lingering mental injuries and his amnesia to be look at; and the canteen to replenish his energy once he was done training. So far he had not felt the urge to sleep - only periods of restfulness where he would lie in the corner of the room for a short period of time before springing back up and applying himself to his training. A series of destroyed targets on the floor marked his progress as he spent his time on each reinforced plate - punching them with a flurry of straight jabs to fracture and then shatter them.

*crack* ... *crack* ... *crack*

It wasn't exactly effortless - his knuckles felt bruised and sweat dampened his navy-blue under-shirt but with each successive series of broken targets, he could feel his speed increasing marginally; feel that it took a little less effort to destroy each one.

*crack* ... *crack* ... *crack*

He stopped - having come to the end of this series of targets. Only another line of them remained untouched. He couldn't explain where this slowly-growing strength was coming from - ever since he had left Kilian and Cargot he had felt his body changing. An increase in vitality, of basic bodily function... he couldn't explain it, but it was as if in his brief contact with them, his body was subconsciously adjusting itself to match their own. It was a little disturbing in a way - but focusing his increased physical ability on hitting targets was paradoxically taking his mind off of it.

When they return from wherever they all are... I shall have to speak to them about this, Omega resolved.

Sentinel/Daniel Carter-Oa
I then looked behind me to Cargot and Super Saiya, who had just arrived. Ignoring their tardiness, I quickly placed them in my mind so that I could give them the order. "Cargot, go with Recon Team and Daud. Super Saiya, you will come with me and the others to fight the Yellow Lantern Corps." I then turned to my own group, facing all of them and deactivated the hologram protruding from my left arm. "Alright, we will be advancing from the ground, any who are able can move in from the sky. I will be approaching the combat zone from above, Kiliam will lead those who approach from below. Caraline, it would be best if you advance on the ground. So, let's get this started. Larfleeze is only getting closer by the second. And it is essential we defeat the Sinestro and Red Lantern Corps before he arrives, so we can concentrate all forces on Larfleeze." I then looked over at Augustus. "Dont worry, I promise you will be needed, you are a member of our team. Dont think differently." With those words. I activated the jump jets in my boots and several thrusters and stabilizers appeared on my back as well.

Lifting me into the air, I bursted into the sky with with my suit, which I had yet to name, at 80% power. Under that output, I can lift a ton, survive as much force and I am now flying to the combat zone at 280 mph. Still, I am no where close to the maximum level of power the suit can exert, and I plan to keep it that way. Pushing it too far killed me last time. And I dont plan on going out that way again. But, I do expect to have to heighten power to 120%, which from my studies is as much force the suit can handle without any negative effects on either myself or it. I weaved through the air as I looked at the ancient and alien world. It is beautiful, the green crystaline surfaces. The illuminating lights, alien plant life and sparkling waters. Almost all of which carried a green hue to it.

Hoping, I had made myself clear to my team. As long as I am i command, we will do things the right way, because it is right and that is the only reason we need. I dont want to see my teammates go to far. Once we start killing, it only becomes easier from there. First, you kill in self defense. Then, it happens because the criminals are too hard to capture. Before you know it you are killing anyone you judge deserves it and justifying it however you can. And one day, you look in the mirror and dont even recognize yourself. I wont allow that to happen to them. I have been fortunate that I have not needed to, or resisted taking life. Even when facing the Joker. Some others have not been so lucky.

It took only a couple minutes to get to the Sinestro Corps Front. There were a clash of greens and yellow in the sky and on the ground. Not wasting any time, I engaged thrusters and engaged the closest Yellow Lantern, who was engaged with a Green Lantern, I approached from his back, and with a surprise strike I amped up my automated gloves forced electric volts into his alien body. Unprepared, he shrank from me and forgot about the lantern, and with that distraction, the female lantern quickly took advantage and hit him hard. Knocking him out, he began to fall to the earth without his will guiding the ring, was destined to fall to his death. But I had other plans, pursuing the fallen lantern, I grabbed him by his back and gently let him make contact to the ground. Sparing the defeated lanterns life. The woman then quickly approached and informed me of the situation.

"Sinestro and his forces have bypassed the planets defenses. Several areas are flooding with Sinestro Corp activities, we appreciate the aid. Who are you?" With a since of confusion in her last question, I spoke to her from behind my helmet.

"We are Infinite Justice." I said simply, with my team arriving into the field.

Solar Girl/Sora El/Caroline Kent-Oa
With Sentinel and the member of Infinite Justice under his command beginning to leave, I turned my attention to Daud. "We should get going. The Red Lantern Corps only getting closer. Most of the heaviest hitters are with us as well, and I believe all of us are capable of space combat. So, if pressed we should be more than fine. I can breathe in space and my superior vision and hearing can warn us if any trouble comes too close." I advised Daud. Preparing myself for his order. I then wondered if he had any orders for us in specific, or just to follow his lead.

"So, any ideas or functions you would like us to perform on this recon mission specifically? Or should we just follow your lead? I am fine either way." I asked him. Trying to decide how he would lead us. I was somewhat uncomfortable with him leading us, as I have never fought alongside him before. Although, I trust Sentinel's judgement, and when I thought of the alternatives. I guessedDaud was the best choice. Kyoten would lead us to war with the Red Lantern corps, possibly attempt to battle Larfleeze himself out of seeking a challenge. He even came almost accused the Guardians of cowardice, or weakness and possibly both. By questioning why they could not handle a single lantern. I lack experience and Daud is the most familiar with lanterns.

"So, what is the order, Daud?"

Oa

Rory let out a whoop of confidence as the ship touched down on Oa's surface. He leapt out of the craft alongside Daniel, diving towards a group of three Sinestro Corps members. He tackled the first with the weight of a house, following up with a kick to the head, knocking the poor sod out before spinning to dodge a giant yellow boulder. He quickly shot towards the creator of the boulder, kicking the guy's kneecaps with the force of a train. Blinded by the pain, he was easily incapacitated with a blow to the head. The final lantern hit Rory with a huge yellow sword, but Rory's density was high enough for it to do no more than a scratch. Rory rolled with the blade, gripping it at the end and swinging the weight around, knocking the last lantern into the ground, where she got a face full of dirt. Rory got her out with a quick choke-grapple until she fell unconscious.
"This isn't too bad!" Rory yelled to Daniel. "We can take these guys. Hellofalot easier to stop than Frieza, anyway!"

Augustus ran out of the ship and stood next to Daniel, he pointed at 2 Yellow Lanterns and yelled "Hey shitheads! Have at thee!" and started launching fire at them, one of them went up in flames while the other one dodged. The second Lantern flew at him and tried to hit him with a hammer construct, Augustus barely dodged and continued to blast flames at the guy, the Lantern swung again and hit Augustus, sending him to the ground. Augustus was laying on the ground as the Lantern was about to finish him off, but the Lantern suddenly burst into flames, Augustus had lit him of fire with his mind. Augustus got up and said "Awesome."

Kilian zipped to the battlefield and true to what he said, most of the Lanterns were flying which annoyed him. Most members of the team could fly or had some form of Ranged attack. Him, not so much. It didn't take long for some lanterns to notice him. What surprised him was how fast their constructs moved. A few nanoseconds later and he would've been smashed by a mace like construct. Oh yeah... Power rings are thought based weaponry. They move as fast as the user thinks. He watched. There was a small delay when the construct hit to when it faded. Likely the reaction speed of the user. A weakness he could exploit. Another large blade swung at him and missed. He moved quickly, running up the construct to the Lantern and with a vicious 20 blows knocked him unconscious. The power of one of his blows was enough to kill a normal Unprotected human two times over. The shields the rings provided were actually pretty durable.
