You couldn't beat me in a race. Not unless I let you. A fight however is much different. As I don't do a lot of fighting because most everyone is far too slow to keep up with me. That or they shoot me in the leg. Which has happened 4 times already. I'm going to have some serious problems when I get older." He snickers. "So whenever you're feeling up to it, lemme know and we'll have a nice friendly sparring match." He says. "I could use a snack. You guys want anything? Won't even take a second." He says seemingly having pulled a drink out of no where when in actuality he ran to his apartment and grabbed the drink he had in the fridge.

The woman was promptly removed from the Congress floor, her interruption a horrendous violation of Parliamentary procedure. A chorus of boo's followed her out, the political factions of America fully standing behind the use of the canon against the Kryptonian threat. "He saved us all!" "You ungrateful bitch!" "Go preach that liberal mess somewhere else!" Many called out, this line of thinking far too removed from men of such power. Like or not, the Ultra Corps had saved the world and all of it's inhabitants - it is Infinite Justice who is throwing a fit over their own casualties. Did they not see the destruction over cities they weren't able to protect?
It seems like the life of Solar Girl mattered more than the lives of every human on the planet, and it pissed them right off. The notion and arrogance of these superheroes was horrendous, and so, the vote occurred in less than a minute, and not a single member of the House or Senate voted for the repealing of Amendment 52. As the floor moved forward on a new agenda with similar connotations, a special delegation delivered a bill that gave the Ultra Corps' support in their commencement of hostilities against Infinite Justice and other rogue "hero" groups that viciously attacked Daud Andreas after he saved the planet, and destroyed the one weapon that saved us all. Still, massive approval was given, and according to all legal procedure, Ultra had full legal authority to wage a global war on IJ.
Now, with the backing of the world's sole superpower, the threat Ultra presented was unreal to any other group. With such profound power at their disposal, other national governments aligned with the United States were preparing to agree to such action - organizations such as NATO and NAFTA drawing up resolutions to recognize the Ultra Corps as the sole heroic body of concern. This meant big things for Infinite Justice strongholds in Canada and France, and may lead to a clash between government and superhero. Around various cities, people took the streets, their faces concealed by bandanas and masks, to cheer for the Ultra Corps, and to launch an unprovoked assault against anti-Daud protesters.
Daud continued his chess games, vaguely being updated on the political situation while he was overseeing the military aspect of war. He was burying his guilt, sadness, and shame in combat - and everyone else were the pieces. The Fallen Jedi wrote:-snip
"Smoke?" Daud questioned, understanding the only point of such a thing is to conceal movement and hide. "They have incredible stealth technology, why do they even need smoke?" He pondered further, searching for a disconcernable meaning. Scanners picked up the arrival of another fleet from across the globe, Daud rather unaffected by their arrival. "Now then, let's welcome our uninvited guest to what I'd like to call, the meat grinder." He said with disdain and rather dark intentions.
Across the world, at various areas and positions, orbital cannons began to launch massive volleys and metallic shards, innumerable and ridiculously fast. Smoke billowed from various areas as well, forming large, gray clouds of what substance, no one would know, but in almost an instant, they dissipated. Re-appearing at various areas in large, belt-like formations, Daud was given the word by one of his advisors. He confirmed quickly, though, "All commercial and private flights have been grounded since the Kryptonian Invasion, correct?"
"Yes, none are even crossing the zones we have identified."
"Excellent. Anything that is in the air is my enemy. Bring them to the ground." He ordered, the clouds showing their true malicious intent as AI-controlled nanites, designed to rip and tear at any and all materials they came into contact with - fully under the control of Daud and the Ultra Corps. Daud did not need to see where they were coming from - the smoke gave them away and acting upon all airborne vessels above a certain height meant that an alien invader's vessels would meet a terrible grinding noise before suffering untimely death. "You dare come to my world to breach peace...and yet you bring a war fleet." Daud lectured, "You dare have the arrogance to believe that I am just a measly grub beneath your toes. Dare, once more, to believe that I will not be your downfall." The message was said only to the members of the Ultra Corps' command center, but they words held true. Daud held no respect for the Masaki's or their worlds or powers - knowing he could dismantle them at whatever pace pleased him.
As Daud did not leave Android 7 and his energy clones to keep them busy, but to keep Kyoten at bay.Rob Halfordia wrote:-snip
"This is your battlefield?" Android 7 teased, unimpressed at the rage and power level Kyoten was expressing. "Rather dusty and red." He commented, before staggering before a few punches to the gut and chest. "Oh! That's it, then." Android 7 continued, keeping his playful tone despite being outclassed in terms of power. It was his way of remaining calm - knowing he could slow down Kyoten enough if 7 was thinking clearly, whereas his opponent was blinded by rage.
"Your hate is misplaced." The Android said, delivering a powerful cluster of kicks and punches, dodging now and again despite never even registering a counterattack - simply knowing one was coming from such a rabid beast. "I stand by Daud, and yet you gaze at me with such eyes." 7 fired a series of ki blasts, hoping to catch the man off-guard, though, knowing he wouldn't. "Why then," The Android began, "Why didn't stay by her side? In her final moments, do you think she wanted for you and Cado to be a family again?"
The Android's face was serious as he pried into Kyoten. "Do not make excuses, either. How dare you put the lives of a single person before all of Earth. Your power may continue to rise..." The Android began to power up, a greenish aura collecting around him and flaring off wildly. "But you do not have my infinite supply." With speed matching Kyoten's first barrage, the Android returned with his own powerful combination of punches, kicks, and ki blasts. The Android was a wild, unpredictable fighter with skill to put almost any to shame, but the Android knew all too well what he was supposed to be doing here.
He wasn't here to beat Kyoten. 7 is here to keep him away from Daud.

Roshi's eyes snapped open, everything fuzzy at first, he felt different, that was the only way to describe it, instead of his regular energy he felt something deeper, something more powerful than that. Sitting up, he looked grimly at his tattered Kai robes, rubbing his eyes as he forced himself to stand, almost falling again as he stumbled forward, seeing a figure moving, Mayla was her name, but Roshi did not yet know that. He stretched his sore limbs, lookign up, he recognized his halo above his head.
" Still dead I suppose" he muttered. " H-Hey! You! Whatcha doin'? How'd I get here anyway?" He shouted at Mayla, almost falling over when he waved his hands at her and someone else he could see now, Super Saiyan, but he didn't know that yet.

"Oh... Be quiet, okay?" Mayla turned at the stranger and waved her hand. "This city is infested with criminals and other scum. Say, what's with that halo above your head?" She tried to connect the things. A halo usually means that a person is dead, and this person has it, and he appeared out of nowhere...

I had seen Mayla arrive a mile away. When she deepened her voice the HUD in my helmet managed to recognize her voice patterns. My recognition software is very hard to fool. But still, I knew she was wanting to catch me off guard, so despite the somber tone of being here in the first place. I tried to appear surprised for her sake. As surprised as one could be while wearing a face covering helmet. But, when a dead spirit showed up, I genuinely was surprised. I did not recognize the being, and dismissed him as quickly as he appeared. "Sorry, but I dont know you, and thus makes you a unknown factor. I dont like dealing with unknowns. Nothing personnel." Then, turning to Mayla, I began to explain why I was here. "Super Saiya, I came here to locate and find Batman, one of the few heroes to not go missing in the past years. For two reasons, first, we will need his resources to help locate and preserve our members of Infinite Justice. And second, if I know him at all, he has been searching for the answers for why most of the world's heroes are gone. And we are going to need to find out, and bring them back." Then I began to move a little closer, trying to keep the next bit of information to ourselves. "Now, you can either come with me, or go and help secure our foreign bases. As far as I know, Gravity still has not made it to Japan and Canada could do with some help as well. But, if you come with me, we are going to have to keep a low profile. First, I am going to need a safe place to get out of this outfit, Luthor is still President and I am a wanted man. Luckily, Sentinel may not be welcome here, But Daniel is a productive member of Wayne Enterprises. And has plenty of reason to be here. You can decide what you will do and let me know when I get back." I then backed off of her and knelt down, to a low window which led to a basement of someone's home.
Administering the proper amount of pressure, breaking the window. I was able to let myself in to the basement, having a brief flashback of my criminal days. I have not needed to do this in a while. I thought to myself as I quickly changed in the dark, and packing my 'uniform' into a customized briefcase I soon reappeared from the basement. Leaving more than enough money to cover the damages. In my standard $2,000 suit and tie. I looked the part of a modestly wealthy Gotham employee. My hair combed back and my scars covered by the suit. Mayla had actually never seen me in my 'work clothes' and so I felt like I may be amused by her response. But, keeping the smile to myself, I simply asked her if she had made up her mind as I prepared to flag down a taxi in the Gotham night.
"So, before we get a taxi, you will have to change if you are coming with me. Daniel Carter being escorted by Super Saiya....raises too many questions."

"You may." Odin says before departing back to Asgard.
"Sweet. I wonder if those loons are still sleeping." He says and flies over to where they were sleeping but we're now awake. He was brandishing a wooden spoon and pot construct. "Guess I won't be needing these." He says and they fade. "An all powerful God named Odin has just dubbed me the God of Speed after I beat him in a race. He's throwing a feast in my honor! And he said I could bring some friends. So that means you. And a bunch of other people. RSVP now." He says.
