The woman left and returned shortly with a substantial amount of fruit. "Eat." She says.

"Pushy aren't we?" Kilian says smiling a bit and burns through the fruit within a second and lets out a very loud burp. "Excuse me... Damn that was loud!" He says and lies on his back. "So thanks... Ummm I don't know your name."

"Mo'at."

"I'm Kilian. Fastest man alive." He said and the feeling in his legs began to come back. "So Mo'at. You guys are all Speed Force Conduits? Like you can all move and think really really fast?" He asks standing up but his legs still a bit shaky.

"Yes Kilian." She says. "Can you walk?"

"Yeah, I think I'll be fine." He says, takes one step and falls flat on his face. "I blame you for this." He says and shakily stands back on his feet. "So uh. Sorry for freaking out earlier. Again, I've had a rough day and meeting aliens was not what I expected to happen. Actually. I'm the alien. Huh. Perspective." He says and takes some steps carefully until his legs were back in working order only to hear laughter by someone which was obviously directed at him. "Really?" He asks. "So. We're acting like little kids now? I could show you how bad a wedgie can be in that loincloth of yours." He says.

The tall man, at least a head taller than Kilian looked him dead in the eye, but was slightly surprised that he didn't back down. He didn't know if it was arrogance or what that the alien man thought he was faster than him. The fastest member of his tribe. "You call me a child?" He asks.

"Yep. Want me to go get mommy for you?" He asks in a more playful manner.

That was infuriating. Not only did they save this man, he had the audacity to make fun of him! He threw a lightning fast punch but to his surprised found Kilian behind him. "What!? How did you do that?"

"Sorry mate. I must've gone too fast for you. Want me to slow it down? How about this amigo. Let's race. Winner has to apologize to the other. Is that fair?" Kilian asked. "A lap around the world. First one back here wins."

The small bursts of speed were enough to impress him. But he felt confident he could beat Kilian easily. And humiliating him in front of everyone else? That just made everything all the better. "I accept your challenge." He says.

"Alrighty then! You can do the countdown." He says and goes outside the tribes home which happened to be a massive tree. "I have never seen a tree that big." He says as the man lined up next to him. At the sound of the word "go" they both zoomed off running through the forest. Kilian knew that he could have burned though the race in under a few seconds, but humiliating the poor guy in front of everyone of his people like that would just be rude and might cause some unneeded contempt. He was going to win for sure, but for the sake of not being hated by who was considered a popular man, might be a slightly healthier idea considering his predicament. He was going to win by inches. At first the race seemed to be going rather equal as they zipped through the forest. "So big guy. You got a name? Mine's Kilian. I think it might be best if we knew eachother's names for whoever wins." he says.

He looked and was shocked at how well the alien man seemed to be handling the race, but he did have a point. "My name is Tsu'tey." He says.

"Alright mate. Thanks for the info. So. When I win, I want you to say, I'm sorry for saying those very hurtful things towards you Kilian." Kilian says.

"You are not going to win this!"

"Try me!" Kilian said and Tsu'tey pulled ahead of him slightly. "Looks like we're done warming up!" He says and shot up to about mach 30 keeping the race pretty equal. "You're pretty quick for a guy your size! A little more practice and you'll be almost half as fast as me! No hard feelings Tsu'tey. You're a pretty cool guy. And I'll apologize twice. Right now. I'm sorry for saying those things. I know I can't ride the My Friends Got Killed excuse forever. But I'm trying to cope with the only way I know how." He says. Now that stung Tsu'tey a bit. He didn't hear the part about his friends dying. His reactions were rather tame for someone who just experienced a loss like that. Typically there's a lot more crying and yelling.

Daud

Daud kept his eye on ground movements and orbital movements simultaneously, looking for any discrepancy in his operations. Suddenly, movement was detected, and he was ready to fire his weaponry at the targets so that they would be destroyed on the descent into the Earth's atmosphere, but something held him back for a moment. "Compare gravity signatures from this force and the main anomaly." He said, narrowing his eyes at the red dots on his screen, wondering what the Founder's move was. "Their stealth is excellent, but they cannot hide from the fundamental force that all matter exerts."

"Miniscule compared to the anomaly." Someone answered, the name "anomaly" becoming the byword for the Masaki Fleet as technically, it was not confirmed to be the fleet just yet. Their stealth was far too great - Daud was effectively operating in the dark regarding their fleet. What knowledge he did know came from old resources accessed with his Green Lantern ring from the library databases at Oa, and so he wasn't sure of their updated nature or anything. He could only hope and predict, using whatever luck he had left.

He thought for a moment, realizing that, like the Kryptonians, this may just be a tester force. The Founder is seeing what Daud can throw at him. Rather than go all out, Daud prefered to keep his aces in line. "Have auto-turrets from the Watchtower target and destroy what they can of the vessels. Where are the Orbital Shock Troopers?"

"Ascending, will make contact with Watchtower in two minutes."

"I want them there in one." He said, narrowing his eyes once more to study the movements above and on the globe. "Deploy recon forces to the Cell Games Arena. The Masaki's have used it previously. I want Beta-level and Alpha-level metahumans on that recon mission, and I want them there yesterday." He barked, the orders being followed quickly down the line as forces kept their momentum pushing forward, the gears of the war machine turning ever so smoothly. Daud could multitask like no other - his command skills excellent yet relatively unknown. He commanded little in the public eye, but his wit and intelligence were never in question to begin with. The Founder, on the other hand, had an entire galaxy to speak as his testament to strategy.

Daud could only hope that he dared not bring the force of that galaxy into play.

Temojouin Masaki: Commander of the Masaki Peacekeeping Force
Masaki Heavy Carrier "Overlord"
Preparation for War: The Operation Begins - The Checkmate

As the Ultra Corps Auto-Turrets started opening fire on the Decoy Transports, the would find that as the Decoy Shuttles were shot down, they unleashed a Massive Smokescreen above their designated area's, It was preplanned to have the main landing force disguised by a rapidly descending smokescreen that would fall unto the Earth without any detrimental effects to It's already slowly decaying ecosystem "Be advised, Smoke Screen has been deployed onto the planet, begin primary force drop to the planet." Masaki Guardian Alpha 01-2 then changed the communication frequency "Secondary Landing Force, jump out of hyperspace to our exact opposite coordinates, all landing sequences are a go!" Alpha 01-2 shouted over the Comm Channel.

All the way from the other side of the Earth, an exact fleet of 12 Heavy Carriers jumped out of Hyperspace, and since their cover was blown, they jumped towards an area where the 2nd Peacekeeping Fleet could be seen by Inhabitants of Earth, their carriers also unleashing Decoy Shuttles that unleashed their smoke screens, followed by the same flow of Primary Landing Transports from both fleets. The First Peacekeeper Landing Force In which had originated from the Moon approached the layer of the falling Smokescreen that had been deployed by the Decoy Shuttles, this primary landing force was led by the joint efforts of Temojouin and coordinated by Masaki Unit Alpha 01-2 "All Shuttle Unit's begin scattering protocol, Shuttles In assigned groups 2 through 5 stay on my flank."

Temojouin began adjusting and calibrating his Starfighter's systems "Escort groups attached with groups 2 through 5, remain on any of the flanks of the shuttles, all Bomber Groups, prepare scrambler bombs, this will have the ability to sever the Ultra Corps from detecting our forces dropping down, It should give us time to establish our bases." Temojouin stated, hitting the overdrive engine on his Starfighter, sending him shooting down to the surface of Earth at Mach 7 Speeds. From that point, Temojouin had entirely emerged out of the smoke screen and near the Sahara Desert, his starfighter still rapidly flying down to the desert.

Morgana

The sound of my feet shuffling down the metal corridor. Wincing with every foot step that hit the hallway metal floors. The injurys I suffered from the war with the Kryptonians still hurt badly. One of the doctors in the IJ base in Okinawa, Japan told me I had three cracked ribs which I fixed with my darkness healing. Though my bruises didn't heal at all which sucked making it hard to move about freely. Remembering the battle for earth made my ribs ache violently. I was doing grate team work with Gravity until a fast Kryptonian flew past my darkness tentacles from the dark hole. Rather then hitting Gravity he slammed me in the chest with full force knocking the breath out of me also releasing my control over the darkness, allowing the other Kryptonians to get free. As he had tried to scrap my face against the ground I used the shadow under us to create a portal to the shadow realm. So the moment I touched the ground nothing was felt as my face touched the shadow and entered the shadow realm. Using the darkness I wrapped the man in a coffee of darkness then untied the man who had a scared look on his face. I had no time to think of what he saw or heard but I had to guess my father had something to do with it.

As the battle progressed to were some of the evil Kryptonians had touched land. I fought as many as possible trying not to die and not to kill along with keeping buildings intact. I had a few extremely close calls, but I was saved by one of the good Kryptonians occasionally. There was moment when I though this battle was never going to end. Then I saw something that distracted me a missile that blew up. Almost immediately the Kryptonians I had defeated started to scream in pain then I felt it as if like domino's the life of the race which protected earth started to die off one by one. I watched as their spirits lift their body's I felt helpless useless. Then as if things went even further south when I flet Sora's soul slip from its body. My eyes had widened as I screamed her name from the bottom my heart as if I should have been there to save her. Tears flowed from my eyes desperately trying to escape my face. Thinking hard I had tried to put together why and how it had happened slowly I placed the pieces in place and had Daud as the mastermind of the genocide of an entire species, and her best friend. As everythig went to hell after the death of the Kryptonians race I saw Gravity get captued and noticed some of the others screaming Daud's name in anger.

Eventually I manged to find my sister Caraline who seemed to be beat up herself from the battle. After a quick discussion with her we made missions for each other. She would try and save Gravity while I was to get the project she had started four years ago after coming back from Oa. Other then myself and a few others had knowledge of what was laying beneath the pacific ocean near Japan. We discreetly transfered money to numerous companies for raw materials for the project. Basically we're nearly broke because of it but the investment should be a grate trade off. After we departed separately I made way to Japan to collect the mystery item. Now I was in it getting it ready to depart on its first journey ever. As I limped into the bridge I saw a few of the Japan members doing a system check on everything. Knowing everyone was somewhere else doing something else important. Then the ship's pilot looked back at me and gave me a thumbs up for a all ready to go. That's when a young Japanese girl who had the ability of hydromanipulation and blue hair came up to me.

"Morgana we've received a message from the Brazilian base in South America. Gravity, Super Saya, Caraline, and yourself are to go to meet Sentinel there immediately. The Tempest is ready for voyage all systems are green. Two things we didn't get to install in the ship was the perfect invisibility cloak and the massive external emp. Both are near complete though as the situation is now we are able to avoid detection by eyes, ears and satellites even heat can not ne pick up from this ship, though inferior red can pick us up and advance sonar. We have space, sky, and sea mobility its max depth haven't been tested yet along with max heat it can take." As she continued to inform me about the ship I stoped her to give permission to surface and told the navigator to chart a course to the Brazilian base. After that I allowed the girl to keep speaking to me about the ship. Only five minutes later did alarms ring loudly then a voice Beemer over the intercom " all crew members prepare for immediate surfacing to fly to Brazil." I didn't even feel it as we emerged from the water near Japan. To those who were watching the ship looked majestic as it escaped the oceans graps. As soon as it left the sea the glimmering ship dissapered into thin air.

It took a while for us to reach the base Gates in Brazil. I took one of the new transport ships to enter the base from the ship's hanger. The moment we touched down in the base and the Tempest floted over the base invisible to almost everything. Walking down to the meeting room I found my boyfriend in his new costume. Personally I wish he would stop changing suits so frequently it has started to worry me. Especially when he was near death after San Francisco I almost fell into a state of depression thinking him getting radiation damage was my fault. Looking him in the face I really needed to speak to him." Baby I am glad your ok." I smiled at him sweetly as I walked up to hug him tightly. I back away a step or two to deliver a powerful slap across his face leaving a hand mark. I hugged him again and started to cry on his sholder endlessly." Don't ever scare me like that again, don't leave me Daniel please don't leave me!" I couldn't help myself I was scared of my father one of my best friends died and now war was on the horizon. The war was ok, but everything else was painful.

Caraline

I had arrived at Rory's trial in time to see him and others give their speeches. Luckly I had some cash to pick up a desent dress with heels and bought a new corvette for show. I let out a little giggle when the senator or governor of Texas finished his fine speech. I stood up and walked next to Rory purposely grabbing everyone's attention towards me. The I procced to talk like I was opening a new school or museum." Hello everyone sorry for the late interruption, but if you would spare me a few moments of your time I would like to give you some important information about this man." The words flowed from my mouth as easy a breathing air. Waiting a bit till the room was completely silent I gave me best sweet smile without showing my fangs.

"Everyone this man named code named Gravity has unintentionally saved humanity from future destruction. What I mean by that is he destroyed that weapon which took out the Kryptonians in a single go. Have you actually sat back and wondered that if he hadn't destroyed it people like Hydra, Brainiac, Modoc, maybe even Gizmo givin enough time almost any tech villian could use it to take out millions in one fell swoop." I was going to puse to let it sink in a bit for everyone but I thought better of it." If your going to say we have our own weapons to take care of stuff like that then what stoped you from helping in the invasion. Also for those who think Ultra Corps is going to just kill them before that happens your sorlie mistaken. Every hero who puts their life on the line to protect yours so you don't have to deserves better then what is happening right now. Yes I support IJ as a whole since some of them come to some of my academy's to help young mutants control their abilities. While the normal non powered humans learning to co-exist with those with powers to help make everyone a helpful even hero's and mutants part of a productive part of society. Out of those who have help my students this man has done the most. Naturally I had UC there as well I made everyone sign a contract stating that scouting or pushing opinions on any of my students is forbidden. If they try or even suggest anything of their affiliations they are immediately sued and banded from stepping with in outside the school premises."

"So I can say this man has saved your children lives by destroying the machine. If you want to convict a single man for destroying something that had nothing to do with you your all idiots. That means us humans have become less then what we use to be and our morals have dropped as well. So I'll ask what is the reason or purpose for convicting this man?" I left things like that so someone would dare talk down about me or doubt me.

The battle was over. Super Saiya teleported back into the base of operations in the Amazon. As she appeared, still moderately hurt and bruised, she saw Augustus holding Solar Girl's corpse and Daniel just arriving to the base.

"So, I assume you already got the news?" Mayla said with a serious tone. "The invasion is over, Daud has mobilized his forces, and Sora is dead in our hands. I will follow your orders. This nightmare needs to be stopped."

Meanwhile, on Dende's Lookout, Dende and Cargot were examining the situation unfolding on the surface. The fighting has already begun, and many nations were already dragged into the war.

"First Zod's forces invade Earth and nearly succeed, then our own allies become bitter enemies! What's next? I am supposed to be the Guardian of Earth, but I am powerless right now to stop this madness..." Dende was both terrified and worried at the same time. "Millions will die! I know that Daud was irresponsible with Kryptonite, but putting the whole world in a bloodshed for a few innocents - that's madness!"

"It was not the reason for war. It was the reason to declare said war. The Ultra Corps and Infinite Justice were nearing a clash since the beginning four years ago. Daud's allies thought killing villains was justified, and Daniel's loyalists heavily opposed that thinking. Since the schism, they both were at a high danger of a conflict, and everything just went worse. You can say that Sora's and Wyatt's deaths were a pretext." Cargot replied.

"I would've thought a common enemy would unite the two groups, but no - it just made matters worse!"

"There was almost no way to reunite the two groups. Their ideologies in itself are different."

"Look! Kiev has been besieged! At least two millions live there!" Dende was shocked. "Would you think that reviving the fallen comrades would solve the problem?"

Cargot thought for a minute. "We cannot use the Dragon Balls."

Dende looked at Cargot, with a confused look, then suddenly realized - the Dragon Balls were already used this year. "Super Saiya and Gravity already used them to revive Kyoten recently... We are hopeless."

"The best thing we can do is wait. If we are lucky, we can make the leaders think about the damage they will cause."

Kyoten floated before Android 7, who had also gained a boost in power, not from rage, but from the fusion. But Kyoten had a look in his eyes that Android 7 didn't. This wasn't just a simple grudge match to settle a score. Kyoten was filled rage, and would destroy the anything in his way to get to Daud. He looked around. Space wasn't the place to fight, he needed some kind of ground.

Suddenly, he disappeared, reappearing next to Android 7, his hand placed on his back, and they both disappeared (just roll with it, I hate space fighting). Next thing they knew, they were standing on Mars. Kyoten bore no smile, unlike when he usual fought. Instead, his face remained angry, holding pure contempt for the Android that stood before him. He screamed as he moved at incredible speed, throwing a vicious volley of punches at the Android at speeds which broke he speed of light.

As long as he was angry, his power would continue to rise, and he would not stop until he reached Daud.

Kilian

He was winning. By a large margin now. Mostly because he was replaying the incident in his head over and over again. He couldn't stop thinking about it. Hundreds of people died in an instant. Friend and foe alike. The thing seemed off. Daud wouldn't try to kill every single one of their allies. There was either a malfunction or something similar. That's what he told himself. Little did he know his body was acting on autopilot, zooming through the forest at ever increasing speeds. He was trying to outrun something and it wasn't Tsu'tey. Outrunning anything other than speedsters shouldn't be a problem, he was truly the fastest being alive. If that was true then what did he have to be afraid of. When coming back up to the finish line, he stopped cold, staring into space with an empty expression on his face.

Tsu'tey caught up a few seconds later and stopped when he saw Kilian just standing there. At first he thought Kilian won, but in actuality he didn't. He could've made it back in before him, but didn't. Instead he walked over. "Kilian?" He asked and waved his hand in front of his face. Kilian didn't react or even blink still focused on what happened. Now everyone was confused. Kilian clearly had the race in the bag, but for some reason he was seemingly frozen, and instead of winning the race against the man who insulted him, Tsu'tey was trying to see if Kilian was okay. What happened next confused everyone even more. Kilian ran, In the opposite direction of the race at such a speed that it was impossible for them to track or even hope to catch him. "He really is faster than me..." He admitted but was confused as to why Kilian didn't take the win.

Brooke

Brooke was running throughout the major cities and putting a stop to any and all crime she saw. Which wasn't much. Muggings, domestic violence, small robberies, but it didn't take long to hear reports that they were being invaded. "Ring. Find aircraft of unknown origins. Search the entire planet." She said. The ring was quite easy to use, mostly because she wanted to be a green lantern when she was young and had read about the rings and their use.

"Unknown aircrafted detected moving at Mach 7." The ring stated and Brooke shot off to where she saw the starfighter. Though she didn't know who was inside, but she knew no vehicle on earth could go that fast yet, and decided to just follow them, it wasn't like they could outrun her. There was no machine that could ever hope to do so. Even teleporters would be challenged by the true speed of Velocity herself.

Sentinel/Daniel Carter
As I waited for the arrival of my team, I continued receiving reports from across the world. One of the most disturbing was not related to UC, but to Deathstroke, who seemed to have kept himself busy during the invasion. Killing Cyclops, Mr. Fantastic and Nightwing. The first two powerful mutants and the last one a highly skilled fighter. And it frustrates me to no end that I cannot deal with him, not with UC driving down my back. Not long after receiving this information, I was told that Augustus had arrived, with the remains of Sora. Walking out to meet him, I ignored the fact he is, or was with Ultra Corps. Him retrieving her remains has earned him that much. Her body was covered in evidence of battle and struggle. I took several moments to look her over. Almost wishing I could trade places. Looking up to Augustus again. I relayed my thanks for the action. "Thank you, for bringing her back to us." I said quietly. Then had her body moved to a pyre before continuing. "We wont have time for a proper funeral however, as Ultra Corps is not giving us the luxury. We will send a team to collect the remains of her parents as well. Despite the struggle they faced, they should at least rest together in death. As they were unable to in life." I then thought about her child and quickly spun to face Augustus.

"Has Hal-El survived? Do you know where he is?" I questioned intently. Briefly forgetting that he had brought the body back. "Sorry." I muttered. "You have done enough."

It was then that a aide informed me of a large and unidentified craft approaching, but for some reason, it had a friendly IFF.

"Well, give it permission to land. We dont need any more enemies here."
"Sentinel, it is too large to land. It seems to have parked above the base."
"Well, that is interesting." I mused. As it became apparent why it had a friendly IFF.

The ship seemed to belong to Morgana, who never ceased to amaze me with what she has. Then the smack across the face came. Which unfortunately I was not surprised by. It in fact seemed to be a ritual which we go through every time we reunite. Any harder and I could arrest her for domestic violence. Truth be told however, an apology would not suit her, and I would wonder if something was wrong if she did not hit me occasionally. Hugging her back, I whispered that she would never have to worry about me leaving her. Trying my best to comfort her as we would need to move on.

Moving deeper inside the base, I informed them of the situation. With only Super Saiya and Morgana arriving, along with Augustus, whom I am not sure intends to rejoin us. I began the briefing.

"UC forces are hitting us hard on all fronts. Most of our host nations are either under attack, or will be in the next few hours. We can no longer afford to wait for the others. They can be directed to their targets as soon as I can get in contact with them. The largest priorities are France, Japan, Canada and New Zealand. Brazil as well obviously. These five nations contain 75% of IJ resources and personnel. I will stay here in Brazil, and maintain our central base. But I will be sending each of you, to one of these nations to direct the defense there. You will be going alone, as I will need every remaining hero here who has survived to defend Brazil, but all local forces will be at your command once you arrive. As for our bases in other nations, most of them have already been overrun. And those that have not are now retreating to one of these five nations." I then let my eyes scan the room.

"So, pick your destination and get on your way. They have us on the edge now, but for now we will hold the line. And we will keep Morgana's new ship a secret as long as possible. Wait until the best time to reveal it, it wont win a war for us. But it will be able to drastically change things in a single engagement. Once the dust settles, and we have survived the extent of the UC's offensive, we will strike back where they think they are safest. And bring Daud in. Now, I will need all of you to get moving. The nation's you pick will be your responsibility to ensure that they remain standing." I then left the small group of heroes to their own thoughts.

I needed to rally our defenses and make sure all of our able bodied heroes were ready to resist the inevitable UC invasion of Brazil.

Dallen Thomsen

He looked around at the aftermath of the battle, Sora El was dead, a brave and glorious warrior to the end. He would miss her, they all would. Now it was time to figure out who had caused it, and to gain vengeance for Solar Girl. Just then, he received a summons from Sentinel bidding him to the base. He had Heimdall transport the bodies of the wounded and the dead back to Asgard. When that was done, only 300 of his once mighty force remained. But his legion would endure, and they were strong. He attempted to send them back up as well, but they refused to leave their general. Sighing, Dallen looked at Mjolnir and had Heimdall transport him, Sif, Ellyn and the 300 Einherjar to Sentinel's location. Saluting with a fist to his chest, Dallen said, "Greetings, where do you need us? I apologize for my lateness."

The woman was promptly removed from the Congress floor, her interruption a horrendous violation of Parliamentary procedure. A chorus of boo's followed her out, the political factions of America fully standing behind the use of the canon against the Kryptonian threat. "He saved us all!" "You ungrateful bitch!" "Go preach that liberal mess somewhere else!" Many called out, this line of thinking far too removed from men of such power. Like or not, the Ultra Corps had saved the world and all of it's inhabitants - it is Infinite Justice who is throwing a fit over their own casualties. Did they not see the destruction over cities they weren't able to protect?

It seems like the life of Solar Girl mattered more than the lives of every human on the planet, and it pissed them right off. The notion and arrogance of these superheroes was horrendous, and so, the vote occurred in less than a minute, and not a single member of the House or Senate voted for the repealing of Amendment 52. As the floor moved forward on a new agenda with similar connotations, a special delegation delivered a bill that gave the Ultra Corps' support in their commencement of hostilities against Infinite Justice and other rogue "hero" groups that viciously attacked Daud Andreas after he saved the planet, and destroyed the one weapon that saved us all. Still, massive approval was given, and according to all legal procedure, Ultra had full legal authority to wage a global war on IJ.

Now, with the backing of the world's sole superpower, the threat Ultra presented was unreal to any other group. With such profound power at their disposal, other national governments aligned with the United States were preparing to agree to such action - organizations such as NATO and NAFTA drawing up resolutions to recognize the Ultra Corps as the sole heroic body of concern. This meant big things for Infinite Justice strongholds in Canada and France, and may lead to a clash between government and superhero. Around various cities, people took the streets, their faces concealed by bandanas and masks, to cheer for the Ultra Corps, and to launch an unprovoked assault against anti-Daud protesters.

Daud continued his chess games, vaguely being updated on the political situation while he was overseeing the military aspect of war. He was burying his guilt, sadness, and shame in combat - and everyone else were the pieces.

"Smoke?" Daud questioned, understanding the only point of such a thing is to conceal movement and hide. "They have incredible stealth technology, why do they even need smoke?" He pondered further, searching for a disconcernable meaning. Scanners picked up the arrival of another fleet from across the globe, Daud rather unaffected by their arrival. "Now then, let's welcome our uninvited guest to what I'd like to call, the meat grinder." He said with disdain and rather dark intentions.

Across the world, at various areas and positions, orbital cannons began to launch massive volleys and metallic shards, innumerable and ridiculously fast. Smoke billowed from various areas as well, forming large, gray clouds of what substance, no one would know, but in almost an instant, they dissipated. Re-appearing at various areas in large, belt-like formations, Daud was given the word by one of his advisors. He confirmed quickly, though, "All commercial and private flights have been grounded since the Kryptonian Invasion, correct?"

"Yes, none are even crossing the zones we have identified."

"Excellent. Anything that is in the air is my enemy. Bring them to the ground." He ordered, the clouds showing their true malicious intent as AI-controlled nanites, designed to rip and tear at any and all materials they came into contact with - fully under the control of Daud and the Ultra Corps. Daud did not need to see where they were coming from - the smoke gave them away and acting upon all airborne vessels above a certain height meant that an alien invader's vessels would meet a terrible grinding noise before suffering untimely death. "You dare come to my world to breach peace...and yet you bring a war fleet." Daud lectured, "You dare have the arrogance to believe that I am just a measly grub beneath your toes. Dare, once more, to believe that I will not be your downfall." The message was said only to the members of the Ultra Corps' command center, but they words held true. Daud held no respect for the Masaki's or their worlds or powers - knowing he could dismantle them at whatever pace pleased him.

As Daud did not leave Android 7 and his energy clones to keep them busy, but to keep Kyoten at bay.

"This is your battlefield?" Android 7 teased, unimpressed at the rage and power level Kyoten was expressing. "Rather dusty and red." He commented, before staggering before a few punches to the gut and chest. "Oh! That's it, then." Android 7 continued, keeping his playful tone despite being outclassed in terms of power. It was his way of remaining calm - knowing he could slow down Kyoten enough if 7 was thinking clearly, whereas his opponent was blinded by rage.

"Your hate is misplaced." The Android said, delivering a powerful cluster of kicks and punches, dodging now and again despite never even registering a counterattack - simply knowing one was coming from such a rabid beast. "I stand by Daud, and yet you gaze at me with such eyes." 7 fired a series of ki blasts, hoping to catch the man off-guard, though, knowing he wouldn't. "Why then," The Android began, "Why didn't stay by her side? In her final moments, do you think she wanted for you and Cado to be a family again?"

The Android's face was serious as he pried into Kyoten. "Do not make excuses, either. How dare you put the lives of a single person before all of Earth. Your power may continue to rise..." The Android began to power up, a greenish aura collecting around him and flaring off wildly. "But you do not have my infinite supply." With speed matching Kyoten's first barrage, the Android returned with his own powerful combination of punches, kicks, and ki blasts. The Android was a wild, unpredictable fighter with skill to put almost any to shame, but the Android knew all too well what he was supposed to be doing here.

He wasn't here to beat Kyoten. 7 is here to keep him away from Daud.

From the point of contact with the first wave of Landing Forces, the Nanites had seemingly done most of their work on the Majority of the first wave, destroying nearly 2/4ths of the First Landing Force, but as the Nanites began to continue on Into the smoke screen, the white clouds of the Smoke Screen started turning very much dark and storm-like, as If a natural force was commanding this Smoke Screen. Indeed a force was controling the Smoke Screen, transforming Into a Force Storm, which was being controlled by The Founder, who was lightyears away from the Earth, yet controlling It as If he was the storm Itself.

As Temojouin began rapidly flying down to the Sahara Desert, he began to drastically slow his speed as he was preparing for a Final Approach, he felt the presence of an Individual keeping speed with his Starfighter, at MACH 7, yet It was something that Temojouin might have expected from Earth's Heroes, yet It shocked him that an Earthly Hero could keep up with one of the most Advanced Technology In his Galaxy, It was Inconceivable to say the least, but Dismissed It as his Starfighter slowly and carefully came In for a Landing, slowly dropping onto the sand of the Sahara Desert.

Kilian

He wasn't paying attention while he was running, it was more like an outside force was leading him. He was only semi aware of what was happening. At least until he got to a location and received control of his body back. "That... Was weird. Where am I?" He muttered looking around the massive stone ruins that speed to have been bursting with Speed Force energy. "I've never seen this place in my life, so why in the name of hell does it seem so... Familiar." He said heading to the center where a small bright blue tree was releasing Speed Force energy like a heart beat. "Seriously? The ferns get speed powers too? Who DOESN'T get speed powers here huh?!" He shouted into the sky. "I thought I said I need to stop talking to myself. At least twice." He snickered and approached the glowing tree when a bolt of Speed Force shot into his chest and knocked him out.

He woke up seemingly in the same place. "A lightning bolt? How did that get the jump on me? I've dodged lasers before. Lightspeed. Lightning is mach 30..." He muttered and a bright blue being sat in the air behind him. "Woah! Who are you?" He asked backing away a bit. The being, like the place he was at, had a strange familiarity to it that he couldn't place. The being shot away into the forest, and somehow Kilian got the impression that it was a challenge. "Race? Me? Everyone wants to get smoked today!" He said shooting after the blue streak. Something he had done twice already. He ran until he was right behind the strange being. "You're gonna have to be faster buddy! I'm only going 10 percent!" He said and the being turned around and "faced" him. Where he felt like it was looking into his very soul.

You're holding back. Faster.

Brooke

Brooke stopped at where the fight landed and floated above it with a bright blue aura. "An impressive ship if nothing else. Mach 7. Faster than almost everything else on this planet. Barring myself of course. Now, I see that there are weapons on this ship. Now, you wouldn't be attempting to do something silly now would you? Because if you were, we'd have a problem." He said floating down to him.

Daud

A quick break from the war planning was needed, but instead of relaxing, Daud found himself at the lowest levels of the base, housing the various cells used to detain criminals. Most were empty, as always, but was drawn back to one in particular, the one containing the man he thought was his apprentice. Daud now knew different, however, and wondered about Dapp...er, Kratos'...loyalty and standing. Did the Titan even remember the events of his life as Dapp? Or his time in the Ultra Corps. Daud would get to the bottom of these questions, releasing the magical barrier that kept him at bay.

Rather than walk in, Daud immediately felt the rush as Krato's appeared behind him. Daud prepared to fight, but chose to use his words instead. "If you choose to leave, you may do so. I will not stop you."

An amused chuckle sounded, surprising Daud slightly. "Why would I want to leave?" Kratos said in a deep, chocolatey voice uncharacteristic of Dapp. Kratos was seemingly testing Daud by stepping out of his cage for a moment, as Daud felt him rush back. The speeds in which the Titan moved must give Speed Force users a run for their money, as his godly powers allowed for feats no human or superhuman could accomplish without divine intervention. With his back to Daud, the Titan beckoned him in. "Come, we have much to discuss as the war rages on."

"Yes, yes we do." Daud said, confidently stepping into the domain of Kratos' cell, appearing as a black void in space without concept of reality or anything really. Kratos turned to face Daud, his face similar to Dapp's, but more mature and masculine. The two stared at each other roundly, perhaps sizing the other up in a classic display of male greetings. Daud made no sudden moves or expressed intent to speak, so Kratos went first.

"I remember everything." He stated bluntly, "The reason for my state of being was a curse cast upon me by Zeus. He does not like others moving in on his woman, while doing it to countless others. No matter the fact, I am here to state that I will continue my membership in the Ultra Corps."

Daud was pleasantly surprised, actually. "That's good to hear, Kratos. I will make preparations to-"

"Not so fast, dear Daud." Kratos began, clasping his hands behind his back. "Let us not reveal ourselves for the time being. Only you know of my predicament, and the wrath of Zeus is one even yourself may not be able to handle. I suggest we continue our partnership - though I can't say I can imitate the...quirks...of my old personality. I'm sure it will only add to the effectiveness of the Ultra Corps' punishment system to see a once loud-mouthed boy shut up and placed in the body of a Titan."

Daud thought for a moment, searching the God for sincerity. "Very well." Daud agreed, "We will keep up appearances. I must ask though,"

"I do not need your Civil War, Daud. You do not either, but I will wait for you to figure that out on your own." Kratos cast a faint smile, "Because only the best instances of power are in overcoming one's self." Daud looked confusingly at the Titan, wondering what he could mean. This exchange had given Daud time to think - however, and some things were not adding up in his head correctly. He'd still need time to figure it all out, though.

"That is a shame." Daud said, turning to walk out of the cell. "I shall leave it unlocked, go as you please." He said, finishing the conversation and leaving the lowest levels of the base to return to his war room, his brain going through different scenarios and though processes, mulling over his actions and the effects of the Kryptonian Invasion. Kratos, on the other hand, remained in his cell, glued on a television screen, oddly enough, playing an episode of Caillou.

"Cronusdamnit, Caillou, it's a measly, mortal flower. Smash it into oblivion and send it's soul to Hades for insulting the very ground you tread upon." He commented, rather enjoying the entertainment mortals possessed.

The Fallen Jedi wrote:-snip

Returning to the war room, Daud has found that the nanites of Brilliant Pebbles have brought them wonderful intelligence, despite their seemingly apparent failure in stopping the other half from landing. "The Sahara. What a strange place to operate from. No matter, the pebbles have already re-located and their fried brethren will be repaired by the cloud itself. They can breed destruction and creation, Founder, something the Force will never be able to do." Daud gave the command for the nanites to imbed themselves in the blistering hot sands and create more from the particles of sand they encountered, bolstering numbers lost.

"Alert national governments and the media of another invasion of the Masaki Dynasty. Connect it with the aftermath of the Kryptonian Invasion. Tell them that any words said by the invaders is nothing but propaganda designed to further destabilize Earth. Connect Infinite Justice as co-conspirators with this Masaki plot, as well." Daud stood ready to give the command to sink the Founder's invasion fleet, but became curious at what he would say to the world governments. Call it ego or arrogance, Daud held back on sinking the fleet under the sands, allowing the Founder to say whatever it is he needed to say.

"Message delivered, sir. All governments and media headquarters have been alerted are delivering emergency addresses."

"I hope it times it correctly." Daud said, "What dumb luck it would be to deliver such a glorious speech about myself right as the public is being warned." He smiled briefly, thinking of an exit strategy. "Seal them here on Earth. Brilliant Pebbles will let none escape from low orbit. Activate their lightning rob protocols as well - no more surprises from the Founder."

Sentinel/Daniel Carter
I was meeting with Humantis and his team when I discovered the results of the vote in DC. A full failure. Caraline was right, but she did not understand the way DC works. The government of the United States of America has become a enemy. While it appeared as if Lex was keeping his campaign promises. I began to see the increase in corruption in the Congress. I let him be for two reason, the first was to avoid conflict with the Ultra Corps. The second was I believed that Daud would have moved against Luthor eventually. Providing some evidence of his crimes while in office. But rather, Daud's actions today play right into Luthor's hands. Hero is turning against hero, Infinite Justice is already weakened from the Kryptonian invasion, and now Daud's Ultra Corps has been granted full authority to hunt us down as if we were terrorist. The more I thought about it, the more I seemed to convince myself that perhaps...perhaps Daud has fallen in league with Lex. Maybe Lex has somehow twisted Daud into believing that his actions are a benefit to mankind. But now I am sure of it, willing or not. Daud has become one thing.

The valuable pawn for Lex Luthor.

I clenched my fist. Closed my eyes and placed my helmet upon me. I would honor who Daud used to be. But I will resist with all of my strength what he has become. As he kills my fellows and hunts us all. All with his President's blessing. I then spotted Dallen approaching, with what survivors he had. As he immediately landed and asked for direction. While talking with my hands, I gave him his orders. "We are a breath away from losing this war Dallen. France is under a great threat from Daud's Russian Division of the Ultra Corps. I need you, and these warriors to aid our heroes in France. It is our largest European center. There you will find Voltage, the leader of the French base. Inform him that you have been given command by me. He and any there will not disobey that order. I am placing the responsibility of keeping our French Division intact upon you. Ultra Corps has already killed dozens of our heroes. They are taking few prisoners, if any."

I then sighed from behind my helmet. "This part is very important. Do not, use lethal force unless their is no other way. Right now, Ultra Corps has the support of the people. They see us as terrorist or outlaws. If we kill their soldiers, that will only confirm their thoughts. If we, however resist them from a moral high ground. Defeat them, but not destroy them, the public will see. A 12 year old with a smart phone would be able to record it and show it to the world. Ultra Corps must lose their public support. The world must see them as they are, not as liberators. But as conquerors, who will think nothing of coercing the entire world under Daud's or Lex's rule. I cannot even honestly tell any more. It is only a matter of time until the American Congress nationalizes UC, and completes their control. We cannot allow this, so drive the UC back from France. Show them that Infinite Justice will not falter under their crusade, Dallen. And force them to remember those they have already murdered." I finished. "I will stay here in Brazil, and defend this base. UC should be here anytime now. Now go Dallen, we can take care of things here."

I then left Dallen to see to my force. Far smaller than it was before the invasion crisis. Barely over a 100 members to defend this base with. Standing next to a nearly a hundred members of my team. I turned around and gave them the order to make our stand inside the base.

"They find us outside and we wont last minutes. Everyone, move inside the base with the exception of any who can cloak themselves or remain undetected. Those members will remain outside as sleepers, once the enemy has completely engaged they will strike from the outside in limited probing attacks. Forcing the UC to reevaluate our capabilities and exact numbers." After giving the order, I stayed with Humantis' team and we re entered the main base. Awaiting for the Ultra Corps to arrive.

Within fifteen minutes, breaching squads already made their way inside the base. But because the base is mostly underground, and the surface administration level was abandoned and locked out, preventing them from using the base against us. They were forced into very predictable routes into our base, greeted by fierce resistance from our teams inside. Any incapacitated UC members were forced onto the prison level and locked away.

I began to engage several human members, equipped with advanced infantry weapons based off of Lantern Rings in hand to hand combat. Making their rifles ineffective in the closed spaces and informing them with physical beatings that the 2nd Battle of IJ HQ would end the same as the first.

With our victory. Their tide ends here.

Nicholas had walked around on the ice planet, drawing much attention to himself. He had used his telekinesis to demolish buildings, he had crushed peoples legs and sent them flying far from sight...
So many dark things, all to attract the Sorcerers protecting this planet. There were surprisingly three here, and they all appeared around Nicholas in a circle.
"Well hello there...it took you long enough to arrive, I've been waiting hours for my palm reading..."
One of the Sorcerers looked particularly aggravated, and began to recite a spell. The long spellwas not even half way done, when the Sorcerers head fell to the ground by his own blade, and his body fell limp. Nicholas had telekinetically manipulated the sword while the Sorcerer was distracted. Telepathically, he had also identified him as the leader of the other Sorcerers here...

The others were both astonished and petrified with fear, along with anger. One lifted his hand into the air, drawing from some power source, and sending a blast of energy toward Nicholas. It slammed into the ground hard, creating a massive explosion. In the short amount of time that the blast was moving toward him, he had teleported behind the sorcerer and blasted him straight through with cosmic energy, leaving a gaping hole in his abdomen. He fell over dead, while the third sent multiple blasts of intense energy at Nicholas. They streamed out of his hands, impacting with Nicholas' powerful shield. This went on for about 20 seconds, with Nicholas concentrating to keep up the shield...it had begun to crack...
That was when Nicholas teleported out of the way, dropping his concentrating on the shield and allowing the blast to impact into a hospital behind him...many died...

The Sorcerer was greatly angered, even more so with himself. Nicholas had telepathically frozen him in place (Much like Professor X did to hundreds of people at a time). He walked up to him, levitating him into the air. He released his mind only after binding his hands with his telekinesis.
"Listen to me, Sorcerer. Your mind will become mine...I will find all of your secrets, like your layer where the strange object exists that prevents my Master from coming. When I find it, I will destroy it. This planet...will be destroyed by Galactus. Do not fear, you will not be alive to see it."
The Sorcerer began to say something, likely a spell...but no one will ever know. He fell to floor, his neck broken.

Nicholas had found all he needed as he was talking to him, and began to teleport towards their layer.
When he arrived, the door was ripped off, and flew into the chest of a man walking about 50 feet away, killing him. He walked in, immediately noticing the door he had seen in the mans mind. He popped up next to it, ripping it off with his hands and sending it flying through the wall. He descended down, quickly seeing the bright glowing object in the middle of the basement, rotating at supersonic speeds around what appeared to be a glowing Pyramid shaped gem. It glowed a bright yellow within the blue light swinging around it. With the flick of his wrist, the high speed, blue glowing objects stopped rotating around the stone. He reached in, grabbing it...
"Interesting...I wonder what the other planets have..."
He glanced over toward a table to his left and noticed a chain which appeared as if it could hook onto the stone. He hooked it on, placing it around his neck. It glowed brightly, as it enhanced his powers...
He traveled back to the middle of this city, lifting into the sky and calling the name of Galactus...
"Galactus, take me from this place. It is now ready for you."

He vanished, appearing in space next to Galactus.
He watched, as he devoured the planet and millions of lives.

"Herald, you have done well. You will be rewarded one of your prizes. You will be granted the ability to manipulate matter and to breathe in space, as I have shown now by bringing you here."

He was humbled, and thanked him. Galactus proceeded to send him to the next world. When he arrived, it was a planet much like Earth. He found the people were unintelligent...who among them could keep out Galactus...they lived in tribes, rode horses...none were extraordinary...
I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again- Etienne de Grellet du Mabillier

Temojouin was Interrupted as a nearby Masaki Guardian walked forward to Temojouin, It's hands behind It's back "Lord Temojouin, sir, the Signal Transponders were damaged during the landing, but are still operational at this time, we are making repairs to the Signal Node, and we are waiting for the other Two Transponders to be activated, It will take some time however." The Masaki Guardian stated. "When you finish repairing It, make absolutley sure that a direct link to Sigma Galli Prime has been assured." Temojouin reminded the Masaki Guardian.

Brooke
Brooke rolled her eyes at the man who was simply trying to be chivalrous. "Now, answer me this lover boy. Why are you setting up a B.A. in the middle of the Sahara Desert?" She asks. "Normally, things like this are not done in secret. Not unless there's malicious purposes behind them." She says skeptically. She wasn't quite sure how Kilian would have handled this situation, but then again, she wasn't Kilian. which was lucky for them as he would have seen this as an invasion. "And if this is something that you weren't intending to be secret and just needed space, then I'm certain you won't mind me watching you set up. How about this, since it's unlikely that you're as fast as me, let me see these blueprints and I'll set it up for you." She suggests.

Temojouin's expression remained smooth and happy, he knew that Brooke had rolled her eyes, perhaps It was time to lay off of the Traditional Things, even The Founder was not all that traditional, and Asumar? forget about It, Asumar was respectful, but he found that Tradition was just for the Old Times and had no place In the Universe no longer. Temojouin took this as a sign "Well I would be trustful of you, but It considers M'am, before you help us assemble our devices, I need to know what allegiance you are on, are you on the side of the Ultra Corp, or the Infinite Justice. We just need to be careful with whom we share our schematics with, we are In some tense territory." From behind the both of them, the Masaki Guardian's were assembling massive tent-like structures, but these tents were of Bio-Metallic Armor, allowing the structures which served as Barracks, Hanger Bays, and even the Headquarters.

Augustus ran into the battle "I am here to help, you can thank me later!" he ran in and punched an Ultra Corps soldier in the face. "This is gonna be fun, I haven't been in a good brawl since the fight against the Yellow Lanterns!" He burnt one guy's hands with a blast of fire, taking him out of the fight. He felt alive, like fighting these guys was what he was born to do, he punched another UC member in the face, taking him out of the fight. He looked back at Sentinel "Sir, what's the situation? How many troops did they bring?!"

Brooke

"I'm not on either side. I'm here to stop those idiots from tearing this world apart." She says and points her ring. "Ring. Download Schematics." she says.

"Schematics scanned and downloaded." The ring stated and within 2 seconds Brooke zoomed grabbing the materials and put the entire base together just like the schematics said before zipping back in front of Temojouin.

Brooke
"I'm neutral in this conflict. By the way your base is set up just like you wanted it. If you want something moved, let me know." she says. "Any more questions about my allegiance?" she asked. Brooke didn't want to admit it, but she loved using the Speed Force. Which was common for just about every Speedster. It was comparable to a drug which had absolutely no side effects. That and she found doing what Kilian did to protect people was rather enjoyable. A sense of pride came over her. She was going to take care of the world the best way she knew how. Though still, like Kilian, she took the time out for the little everyday problems. It was part of being a hero. And it felt good.

Kilian

He was running and even decided to push his speed up to 99% of the Speed of light. The mental blocks he had worked into his mind to keep himself from going beyond the speed of light in order to protect the planet. He knew going faster than light on any world was hazardous. Not to him, but the world. A few steps could shake the planet to its very care and likely crack it. Blowing up worlds was not his job. Keeping the world FROM blowing up was his job. Which felt even weirder when despite his immense speed, the being seemed to be egging him to go even faster. Speedster instinct always told him to go faster and to keep going, but he had resisted it. The resistance was getting weaker and weaker with each passing second. It was against everything he ever trained to do, but he did it. He smiled, his eyes sparked with bright blue Speed force lightning and he accelerated as fast as he could.

BOOOOOOOM!

Kilian shattered the light barrier and zoomed forward with incredible speeds far surpassing that of light. It felt quite satisfying and as he increased his speed more and more, he found himself gaining on the being that had goaded him to do so. "Well! You wanted me to go faster! This is me going faster!" He said and ran right up next to it. "This is what you wanted right? I mean you're playing with my head here. The planet ain't breaking from under my feet so I assume I'm in the right." He said and the being "smiled" if one could call it that, and the next thing it did, was shoot itself at and into Kilian's body. The scene outside in the real world was quite spectacular. Lightning sparked all over and Kilian floated into the air, jittering like he was being shocked, held up seemingly by the Speed Force, before being dropped about 10 feet. "Oooowww..." He moaned softly.

Sentinel/Daniel Carter
There was a group of three human soldiers. I closed in on the front one, and grabbed his rifle, twisting it, then kicking him in the chest. Forcing him to fall into the second soldier. But the third soldier was able to raise his rifle at me, and as I stopped in my tracks, slowing raising my hands into the air, as if to surrender. He gave a sly smile as his finger inched ever closer to the trigger. I did not have time to react, his blast cut loose from the rifle, but hit the wall next to me. As I looked ahead, Humantis has teleported behind him and placed him in a choke hold. Which is why his shot was off, as the soldier flailed about, I promptly cut loose with a crushing series of jabs to the exposed mans chest. Then, let him fall alive, but hurting to the floor. "Humantis, take these prisoners to the cell block." I ordered, and promptly, Humantis gripped each one and teleported them to the cell block. Then returning back, we watched as Silver Star had run down a couple UC metas in a narrow hallway like bowling pins. Observing the battle on level 1, just the loving quarters of the base. I knew that the numbers of Ultra Corps are meaningless in this battle. Only able to funnel so many men into these levels.

"We will be in trouble if they reach level 3. The prison level, they will be able to release their comrades." Humantis commented as both Night Watcher and Scarlet Bird joined us.

"And our prison floor can only hold so many." Scarlet Bird added, as I nodded.

"I know." I admitted.

But the obvious was that we are simply going to have to keep them on the second level or above. After the last battle here, several upgrades were made. Entire tunnels and wings were added as decoys and maze traps. Other corridors had automated defenses and false directories, a simple tactic proved quite effective. As UC soldiers drove themselves crazy in trying to navigate the veritable maze of hallways and underground corridors.

I ordered for the team to stick together. As we went about ridding the base of the invading forces, turning left down a hallway, past several IJ members who were heading the other way. We soon found out why, as a powerful geomancer was actually using the earth around the foundation of the base and bending it to break into the base, weakening the structural integrity of the base, and if left unchecked, could trap everyone on this level and below under the earth.

Humantis attempted to teleport next to him, but the geomancer erected a shield around him with the earth. While Scarlet Bird projected several illusions, that she had created clones that were closing in on him. He used the earth to attack the illusions, that were not there. Leaving an opening for me, Night Watcher and Silver Star.

Silver Star charged as if to tackle an opposing football player. Easily brushing past the earthen defenses. Clearing a way for me and Night Watcher. Ducking and weaving under the earth defenses, we finally reached him, just as he used a powerful stone attack to stop Silver Star in his tracks, pushing him to the side. However, behind Silver Star's massive frame, he could not see me and Night Watcher.

So as his eyes widened, seeing both of us just feet in front of him, he raised his hands, attempting to draw in the earth to protect him. But he was too slow. I picked up Night Watcher and with a spin, threw her with great force where she landed a drop kick, dead in the chest of the UC meta. Humantis, preventing his fall, allowed me a spinning kick that nailed him in the gut, then taking him, I face planted him into the ground. Breaking his nose instantly and knocking him out. His earth constructs began to crumble as he went under. And the threat he posed to the base negated.

Standing over him, I turned him over then looked at Humantis.

"You know what to do." Nodding, he took another defeated enemy down to the cells.

"Heh," Daud said with a laugh, the reports of the Russian Division's smashing success into Paris a wonderful word of news. Terrible, though, as Koschei lead them, and Daud tended to hate the man with a passion. Still, in this war, he needed all the strong-arms he could get. "Ensure Paris is under our control by dawn. We have them off-guard, skipping across Eastern Europe and right over Germany. We're in their backyard now, do not let us falter there." Daud watched the situation develop across the world, teams from Argentina and Chile managing to assault the Infinite Justice headquarters. A delaying measure, nothing more. They were expendable to Daud to keep Sentinel from global command and tie down reserve forces in Brazil.

However, something nagged at the back of his brain incessantly, causing him to narrow his eyes and attempt to concentrate on the war at hand, knowing himself to be a commander worth his salt twice over. Kratos' words still stuck with him, though, echoing in his head constantly. I do not need your Civil War. You do not, either. It was so enigmatic, but Daud began to unwind the strings that threw him into this war. He was attacked by Infinite Justice members, that could be written off as an act of passion at the death of Solar Girl. Gravity destroyed his weapon, perhaps to eliminate the evidence of their sabotage, or perhaps to destroy the weapon responsible for the death of their friend. It was rather arrogant of them, however, to believe their small fraction of allies perishing compared to the billions on Earth at stake. Daud would have laid down his life gladly - in a goddamn instant - for the survival of humanity.

But, things could be questioned further than that. Why did Extreme Injustice strike at San Francisco, and why did Daniel deploy his forces there? Why did Kilian appear so weird when delivering that Kryptonite, as well? Daud began to rack his brain for answers, pondering on the timely delivery of death warrants for the group in Extreme Injustice. Only the upper echelons of government could deliver such devices without proper research or classification. In other words, from Lex Luthor. That connected him to San Francisco, but not to the malfunction of the Krypton Cannon. It had to be an Asgardian, no magic is more genuine and noticeable, not to mention powerful, to give such a signature. Dallen, Thor, Odin used such magic, and...Loki. Daud felt his heartbeat skip, thudding faster in his chest. Loki's files have a penchant for mentioning body swapping and other such trickery.

If Loki had possessed Kilian, where did he keep the Kryptonite? Daud felt foolish enough for not realizing sooner that Lex Luthor had the largest stash of the mineral this side of the Orion Nebula. Who would have prompted Loki to do such a thing - as he mostly stuck to meddling with other Norse Gods and the Avengers? Sentinel's words began to flood back to him as well, causing him to cast his head back, eyes closed. "Damnit." He whispered, finally realizing the painful reality of the situation, far beyond what anyone else had thought through. Daud went beyond the person who framed him and Ultra, and went right to his master. Daud thought he had no master, but he was wrong.

"Lex Luthor." He whispered to no one in particular, coming full circle and unravelling the plan of a mastermind, a criminal genius who far outstripped any other human being on Earth. What could Daud do now, though? He considered his options carefully, scanning the room around him. The people there were doing their jobs, but casually watching him. He soon understood that this was not the eyes of subordinates looking for guidance from their leader, but a cast of arranged stares, actors almost, and people looking for signs of weakness. He was in the lion's den, and had to outwit the wit-master.

"Call for a temporary ceasefire." He commanded, a sly smile on his face and his eyes narrow. "I will see if Sentinel wishes to settle a score with me personally. His pride may be his undoing just yet. Prepare an escort to Brazil." He ordered, his fake-subordinates doing as they were told - positively gleaming that Daud was going to fight Sentinel and Infinite Justice on his own accord, unsuspecting of his true plot. He was without allies in a savage land, a mere puppet, and he will yank down the strings and strangle the puppetmaster with them.

Prophetic, yet, ironic at the same time.

Just by how fast that Brooke had constructed the ENTIRE Sahara Base, with a large wall formed around the Exterior Section of the Base, with the first set of Barracks being established right along the wall, acting as the First Line of Defense, along with Anti-Air, and Anti-Vehicle Weaponry being established within the First Wall. The entire Exterior Wall surrounded the Base In a circular motion, spanning the entire base. The Interior Wall, where most of the Administrative Centers of the Base was located was more heavily guarded than the Exterior Wall, with Armored Unit Storage Facilities being the responding First Line, along with the more powerful weaponry defending the Air and The Ground, with the entire base constructed, a very large metallic floor along the entire base had been automatically activated to give the base solid ground to stand on.

Temojouin was speechless, true that he expression was not showing It, but he was just about to drop his jaw, but he smiled "It took... two seconds just to finish the base?!" Temojouin stated In surprize, before one of the Masaki Guardians approached Temojouin yet again "Lord Temojouin, all Nodes have been constructed on each of our Individual bases, The Founder Is preparing his broadcast within Five Minutes, We are broadcasting to the Administrative Center." The Guardian stated. With a smile, Temojouin turned to Brooke Augustine "We are just about ready to begin the broadcast momentarily, If you want, you may watch the broadcast with us?"

"I work very quickly. Many people don't understand the true potential of a Speed Force Conduit and often underestimate them. I am powered by the entire motion of the Multiverse. Just as Kilian is." She says half smiling, curious when he mentioned a broadcast. "What is this Founder planning to broadcast?" She asks. Whenever someone broadcast something, it was almost always very interesting. If it was something she disagreed with, it wouldn't take her long to dismantle the base and find it's source. "Is suppose I will watch this broadcast." She says and follows him and felt something strange. Kilian was coming for her. "You may want to make this fast. Kilian is coming back. And if he sees your Warships..." She says. "Unless you want to see what happens when a Speedster gets extremely pissed off. I suggest relocating them temporarily. I know he's not fond of you or your friends."

Kilian

Upon waking up, he found his brain scanning through his memories, revealing to him the part where Loki took over his body and even watched through Loki's eyes as he convinced Nicolas to get him some Kryptonite and then enchanted it to be lethal. "That means... That means Daud didn't do it..." He said and kick some dirt off of the ground. "When I get my hands on that man I'm going to beat him senseless!" He shouted. "You hear me Loki!? You'd better put your name on a TOMBSTONE! Cause I'm coming for you! You can't run from ME!" As soon as he figured out how to get off the planet. He was trying to even find out which direction Earth was located when he felt something that shocked him. The only other Speed Force signature he ever recognized. "Brooke... YOU STUPID RING! BROOKE?! WHY BROOKE!" He said and then didn't notice that he was floating in the air surrounded by a bright blue aura that looked like he was surrounded by a bright blow flame moving in slow motion. "I'm... Floating. Without a ring. How?" He asked certain that he wasn't going to get a reply.

"Kilian. I am Eywa. I am the Speed Entity. I have chosen you as my new host." The voice said. "You can do everything you could do previously with your ring. Including breathing in the Void of space."

"Voices in my head? I really am going crazy aren't I? Alright brain. You're the boss." He said and dashed back to the home of the tribe that had nursed him back to health. "Gotta go save my planet! Thanks for the help, bye!" He said at a speed only speedsters could understand and shot into the sky and began to run in space. "You're not going to destroy the world Brooke! I'm not going to let you!"
