Death, for the sake of plot. I would like to suggest that you and Solar Girl are too late to save Crusader from his battle. It will lasts a couple more posts and will be a planned stepping stone to moving the story forward.

Of course, I can improvise with whatever you would like to do, but I had originally planned this to be a solo battle.

We can be late doesn't matter to me. My whole goal is to have Morgana chew your character out then beat him up for his own stupidity. For not obeying the rule of team work her lectured her about.

Chew him out. Sure. But...given his extreme condition, you may want to hold off on beating him any for the time being.
