Yep. It begins now.

First off, no one is teleporting right to Nekron and fighting him. No one even knows he came forth yet - he was yelling that hammy shit into the void of space.

Rather, Black Lanterns will suddenly appear, and fights between them and some of the New Corps will begin. We'll also get to see a very interesting face for the War Corps, and it will be sucky as fuck for everyone. BLs will be rather scattered around the universe, and around the 4th post or so for Nekron, he besieges Earth with a massive army of BLs. We somehow beat him back, and he retreats to his base of operations. Then, we'll enter part 2 of the Blackest Night: The War for Armageddon.

I was refering to the Old Masaki Dynasty and it's Guardians, but Atria had gone over this with me, the Black Lanterns aren't going to focus on the Dynasty, oh and I am going to have one of my characters sacrifice themselves for something, You'll find out.

You can still escape and all that jazz, but we won't start winning against Nekron until one of us becomes the White Lantern during the battle for Earth. And even then, we still won't win, we have to go face Nekron on his tombworld to end it once and for all with the aid of the Gray Lantern.

Yeah, but it would a bit hard to determine where exactly it was coming from.

Oh yeah, Shimura can receive his Peace Corps Ring now. Maelstrom Claus killed the original leader and wiped out the Pink Lanterns and the Peace Corps.
