Government Info
Government Type: Absolute monarchy
Brief Explanation of Government: The king has most of the power in both Kingdoms and is only opposed by the two parliaments in Bavaria and Bohemia respectively which is made up of German and bohemian nobles. Generally though the King's wishes get through even as the Parliaments have started to gain power as influence from the revolution in France. Interestingly enough the Bohemian king is often elected even though the Hapsburg's are given to win every time given the union act of 1723.

The Bohemians are also known for being drunken alcoholics. The rest of the population is made up of a mix of Italians, Slovenes and Croats with the Italians making up the most important part of those three thanks to the great city of Venice.

Military Info
Army: The army is generally made up of 240,000 men who uses a traditional european approach to warfare. Reforms have started in order to counter the French revolutionary armies however as the failed coalitions are still remembered sorely in the mind of the courts in Prague and Vienna. What the Kingdom has however are number and armies ready to defend their homeland to the last drop of blood as the professional and well trained armies of the Bavarian-Bohemian Kingdom prepare.
Navy: The navy is still rather new having only been seriously taken after the conquest of Venice in 1700. It is however a strong force by now being mainly based in Venice when it comes to Europe and Java in the Bavarian East Indeas ready to defend Bavarian-Bohemian interests ashore. Though no real match for nations like Britain the Hapsburg fleet will defend it's interests fiercely and is a force to be reckoned with.
Other Info
Brief Description of your Economy: The economy is very much based around trading with the rest of Germany and the spices of the Bavarian east indies and the BEIC. The UKBB also has strong trading right with the Hapsburg brothers in Hungary resulting in large food trade. The other part of the UKBB that helps the Hapsburg's money making are the merchants of Venice as the great city is still a rich and large city witch sees much income thanks to it's position as a trade center in the Mediterranean.
Goals: Secure control over western Australia and securing the Kingdoms borders while establishing dominance over Germany.
History: In 1156 Austria instead of continuing to become an independent duchy continues to be part of Bavaria. This has interesting continuations for the area. In 1278 Rudolf von Hapsburg gains control of large amounts of territory in Austria and Styria and starts to plot for full control over the Duchy of Bavaria. Hi's plan would never be realized however and he died in 1298 giving his sons control over his areas in Austria and Styria. His Son Albert I would continue to try and take control over Bavaria but was defeated against the Wittlebachs in 1301. Albert would however manage to secure the Bohemian Crown for his son Rudolf III who however died in 1307. Albert would die one year latter giving his lands in Austria and Styria to his other son Frederick who would gain control over lower Bavaria after the Battle of Gammelsdorf.
This victory would establish Hapsburg dominance over Bavaria and the goal of Rudolf I von Hapsburg had been realized. The next decades would be spent establishing Hapsburg control and dominance over Bavaria and control over other realms for the Hapsburg's. The Hapsburg's would gain more notoriety however when Charles V was crowned King of Hungary and Bohemia. While Charles would relinquish his crown in Hungary in favor for his brother Ferdinand I he would keep the crown of Bohemia as it would help in his wars against France and dominance over Bavaria. When the Thirty years war and the Bohemian uprising started in 1618 few could have guessed how devastating it was as after three decades of war the Catholic league emerged battered though victorious with the Hapsburg's now controlling all of Bavaria, Austria and Bohemia. It was with this that the Hapsburg's finally started focus on achieving dominance over Germany and potentially Italy.
A product of this was the Bavarian-Venetian wars, a series of conflicts between 1682-1700 resulting in the Bavarian acquisition and annexation of the Venetian lands giving the Hapsburg's a large port in which they could finally build a fleet to expand Hapsburg interests abroad resulting in the colonization of Java in 1743 and the discovery and colonization of western Australia in 1779 by German explorer Lars Hentschel. It was hopped that this would help give money and spices to the Hapsburg realms as back in Europe the Hapsburg's had expanded north in Germany through diplomacy, war and inheritance resulting in a large dominance over southern Germany and the hope for dominance in the north as well. What many considered the most important event for the Hapsburg realms in the 18th century was however the union act of 1723 as seeing the dissent in Bohemia over the focus on Germany over Bohemia could threaten a revolt Charles VI crowned himself king of Bavaria and created the Union act which established Bohemia as an equal partner to Bavaria in internal affairs and created the United Kingdoms of Bavaria and Bohemia.
The newly united Kingdom's first test would be the wars of succession following Maria Theresa's accession in which the Hapsburg's miraculously won thanks to the determination and power of the newly united Kingdom even though areas like Silesia where lost to the Poles. The French revolution however brought uncertainty to the crown and after two failed coalitions against the French many fear what Napoleon will now do as Bavaria-Bohemia stands as the strongest nation in the way of the French.
