Brief Explanation of Government: The National Legislature is composed of the Noble's and Manda's Council. Only members of the large aristocracy could be in the Noble's Council, whereas anyone could run for the Manda's Council. They total 50 and 200 people respectively. By this point, the Manda's Council has most of the power in the government, with the Noble's Council only able to stall certain laws and cut back a bit of funding here and there. The power of the Mansa remains in proposing laws, waging war(but he can not fund it), and he can issue Royal Order's, which can be overturned in either council with a vote of 50%. i go to a christian school and my teacher is very skeptical of Muhammad having anything being true. we found that it's true success came from forming a community of believers that did not have to be arab. they only had to say that Muhammad was the last prophet of god and accept Allah

Same with Jesus, I'd say. Judaism, on the other hand, requires descent (IIRC) which is why it couldn't take off, despite having so much more organisation and doctrine than any of the Roman/Greek/Norse/Celtic/etc. pantheons.

yep, we also studied last year about how christianity spread so easy from all the mystery cults in the roman empire. oh you believe a all powerful god, so do we. they must be the same just revealed in a different way so let us worship like you
basically, monotheism only had success because polytheism

I'm considering having in a world I'm designing for an upcoming RP a monotheistic religion that spread due to an empire's slow accretion of different gods, who ended up all merging into the emperor, and then an extremely virile religion that is polytheistic sweep aside the monotheistic one; "no, see! The ancients have revealed it! There are many gods, many faces, and you can join us!" And then they overthrow the empire.

I'm not sure if I'm going with my dystopia-Australia RP that I just post on the Historical RP Group, or this RP I just described, which also includes classical civilisations getting conquered by a Romey-Persia equivalent and then it collapsing to said religion, which establishes a new caliphatey-Rome before imploding, getting stomped by barbaries and the RP beginning. The Industrial States of Columbia wrote:
