Alt, how about we make the rp about South East Asia vying for independence not just the Philippines. That would make more room for us to plan about it. Also, the title would fit because most if not all of SEA wanted to be treated equally like citizens of the mother country hence the "You ask for rights, but all you get are chains" title.

Well in 1887 every rebellion will be roflstomped. Let's say 1760s? The Mughal power was waning, and the new overlords in the form of the French and the British are arriving. India will be tasked to repulse the invaders whilst worrying about the actions of their neighbors. Meanwhile, South East Asia (Indonesia, Philippines, et al)will have to break free from their chains. Also this guy
