Hell, I live there. Nearly 18 years, in December. It's just something you get used to hearing eventually, but I don't think I can convey the accent right without typing like this.

I'd new it be wrong. Damnit, that's why I just use brackets to indicate I'm speaking another language. I feel so dumb, I don't know enough German.

I can't do anything with German except read/understand it. Everything makes sense, well, except hundin, just the words are wrong. Things like 'nearly' instead of 'almost' and stuff.

Yeah. I've just settled on the brackets. Its annoying to me sometimes to read something and have it butchered, because it is hard for me to put up the transliterations myself.
