Never bum rushed them. She stood in front of the smoke according to my post. And she has her armorial because she was a vital propaganda tool and her orders were to wear it everywhere she went, AND she was smuggled into the country via crate.

I actually admire some things about the USSR in the Post-Stalin years, but still think it was a heavily flawed regime, that spewed ridiculous propaganda. I actually have no qualms against playing Soviet mages, my main char was a T-55 Red Army loyalist last thread.

Understood. I agree to a certain extent of its flaws, but I would also argue that every country spewed lots of ridiculous propaganda. Also, Kruschev and his Kampaign of Korn was literally worthless.

I'm not sure Olga's contrasts are highlighting anyone else's qualities. It's like the Red Oni/Blue Oni deal. The Red Oni is hot-blooded, loud, boisterous, and always eager. The Blue Oni is calm, collected, reserved, and calculating. By showing them side-by-side, they foil each other in that they are almost totally different from one another and yet they compliment the other as a character. Olga isn't really complimenting anyone. If she is, it's not coming to my mind at the moment.

You have to understand though. The Nazis came into our country, and would literally machinegun down everyone in the village. It struck a lot closer home than per say, the Americans. I even read in one book (Band of Brothers) that the Americans were reminded of themselves in the Germans. Anyways, so of course the Soviets retaliated. We taught the Americans the act of disproportionate retaliation that they use all the time today.

Yeah, and because of Pearl Harbor, Americans developed an intense racism towards Japanese. You want to talk about disproportionate retaliation? We bombed Tokyo because of Pearl Harbor. Firebombed the whole country. Then dropped two A-bombs on it.
