You also have to admit, things like their Leopard tanks are pretty impressive. Their Leo 1A5 is still serving today pretty well. And the Leo 2, well. The cheapest Western MBT I've seen(out of the main countries). You can build 3 Leopard 2A5's per 1 LeClerc. How's that for qualit INquantity?

Although will also admit, no the best tank on the battlefield

Best modern battlefield MBT has to to to either the Challenger 2 or Abrams M1A2.

Best modern battlefield MBT has to to to either the Challenger 2 or Abrams M1A2.

I'd rule out the Abrams simply cause the engine. Unreliablet in dusty conditions and one hell of a gas guzzler.

T-72 isn't a good MBT for the modern era. It was for when it was made, however.

I would say the Challenger 2.

The Abrams' armor is good protection against HEAT rounds, but against KE projectiles, they have less protection than a Leopard 2.
