IIRC, I read the Odyssey first. Not quite as good as the Iliad.

Son/ Daughter of: Thetis
Fatal Flaw: Vengefulness
Special Power:
-Limited control over water (at its strongest this would be about equivalent to what Percy Jackson could do in the first book)
-Instinctive knowledge of fighting skills
-Impervious to charmspeak (his paternal grandmother was a child of Venus)
Weapon of Choice: Celestial bronze spear and golden shield which belonged to his father (it is imperial gold, but he does not know this)
Age: 15
Appearance: Tall for his age with olive skin, green eyes and close cropped black hair.
Roman of Greek: Greek, but with Roman ancestry
Bio: Marcus Severus is the son of a former Praetor of New Rome and grandchild of Venus, also named Marcus Severus. His father did not at first realize that the mother of his child was a minor goddess, but when Mark was five accidentally discovered her true identity. Horrified at having fallen in love with a Greek god and knowing the prophecies surrounding Thetis he became convinced that their son would be a threat to New Rome and attempted to kill him. Mark managed to fend him off, knocking him unconscious with his own shield, and escaped.
Accepted
However, the gods could not allow a child of both Greece and Rome to wander freely so they suppressed all his memories of New Rome and his father, including his full name and Thetis sent him a vision leading him to Camp Half-Blood. The journey to the camp took him nearly two years, but he eventually made it and has been there ever since, aside from two rather unsuccessful attempts to integrate into ordinary schools. Only recently have his buried memories begun to resurface in dreams.
Is there a limit on how old characters can be? I am thinking of having Mark's father as a character as well. Assuming I am accepted, of course.

Son of: Trivia
Fatal Flaw: Lucas is a bit arrogant, and also has a hard time getting along with other guys his age, seeing as every other man or boy on the island where he lived was turned into an animal.
Special Power:
Weapon of Choice: Spear
Age: 14
Appearance:(Image)
Roman or Greek: Roman
Bio: Lucas never really knew his mortal family. According to his mother, he was born in Boston, Massachusetts to a single father, who died in a car accident when Lucas was two years old. Since Lucas' father didn't have any other family, and she didn't trust that he would be safe in an orphanage or foster home, Trivia brought her son to live with one of her daughters, Circe, who was Lucas' half-sister. Circe raised Lucas in secret on her island in the Caribbean, managing to keep him from finding out about the actual purpose of the island until he was around nine years old. By that point though, he had been on the island long enough that he considered it his home, and didn't plan on leaving. For the duration of his time there, his half-sister taught him magic, and about the godly side of his family. At the age of 12, Circe and Trivia decided that Lucas had learned all that he could from them, and sent him to the Wolf House to train further under the wolf goddess Lupa. Shortly after, he was sent to Camp Jupiter, where he has lived since. Thanks to a letter from his mother, coupled with how advanced in use of his powers he was after roughly 8 years of training, Lucas was able to make it into the esteemed First Cohort. Currently, he is starting his third year at Camp Jupiter, and is hoping to advance to the rank of Centurion.

Hmm. Aaron's secret love is cereal. ;3Arana wrote:Yeah, I wouldn't have thought that would apply, but the Wiki says so. I pretty much just went by that.
Well I guess I can just say Aaron is more specialized with the Mist. Have you seen some of these apps? Overpowered to the max.

Only the necromancy seems out of place but I just take that to mean you're a general magic user. Some people post that they're on Percy or Jason's power level who were the most powerful heroes in millennia...

Like the one who was a son of Poseidon and legacy of Zeus? Not only is it overpowered, but neither of them would allow that to happen, except maybe to spite each other, which would have pretty severe consequences...

It didn't really make sense to me either but I didn't want to start a fight when I was just starting to read the thread.
