"Hey you!" somebody shouted at Malinche before a blaster bolt whizzed just a millimeter away from her head. The second shot was deflected when Malinche ignited her lightsaber. Without a second thought, Aliya smashed through her window, leaping from rooftop to rooftop.
"I have to help," she grunted, as she leaped onto a dingy, stunted apartment building, overlooking the fire fight going on below.

Aliya closed her eyes, and sensed her surroundings. Her montrals passive echolocation allowed her to map out the scene below. With a grin, Aliya ignited her lightsaber, and jumped onto the street below.

"Another one," a trooper cried, turning his rifle on Aliya.
Before he could even get his finger on the trigger, Aliya was in motion, blue blade a fan of energy about her. The moment she had hit the floor, she was running, cutting down the trooper with a flamboyant yet swift strike. Leaping like a hunter from trooper to trooper, the Jedi Knight batted aside fire from her opponents, and then striking them down. Her bladework was elaborate and swift, and slowly, she made her way to the other Jedi.

"Looks like you could use a hand," she called out, swinging her blade in a series of arcs.
The two Jedi stood back to back, surrounded by troopers. It would be a great feat if they would be able to escape this.

"Yeah! Thanks!" Malinche replied in shock before deflecting another blaster bolt. Another Jedi survived?! How?

Rapidly deflecting numerous bolts, Malinche tried to concentrate. Her Master had taught her how to handle a situation just like this. "Cover me!" she told the other Jedi. Malinche sprinted to the nearest trooper, performing a maneuver that sliced the stormtrooper in half. She then deflected several shots. The Togruta Jedi took to the other flank of the troopers.

By the time there were but a handful of stormtroopers left, the captain shouted an order "Fall back!" As the near dozen survivors retreated, the captain managed to fire a few more shots.

Malinche reached out with the Force and grabbed the captain's throat. Gripping his trachea with the Force, Malinche lifted him up into the air by almost a meter. The anger in her eyes nearly burned a hole into his soul.

"Yeah so?" Mary asked leaving the building.

"I thought the Empire wiped out all the Jedi?" Rex asked.

"Not all of us." Mary said.

"Most of us escape and went into hiding."

"So there's other Jedi out there?" Rex asked.

"Yes." Mary said.

"I'm guessing this is yours?" Rex asked showing Mary's lightsaber.

"My lightsaber!" Mary said in joy grabbing it out of Rex's hand and put it in her pocket.

"So what now?" Rex asked as he and Mary walked away from the bandit camp.

"I need you're help to get me off this planet." Mary said.

"So you want me to fly you off world?" Rex asked.

"Yes." Mary said.

"Do you have a ship?"

"Not yet but once i get paid i will get a ship." Rex said.

"Well if we are going to a Spacesport i need something to cover up my face because i bet the Empire has wanted posters there." Mary explained.

"Here use my hamlet." Rex said taking his Hamlet off and putting it on Mary's head.

"Just act normal and they won't know." Rex said.

If she looks back…

Colonel Vastra mused his thoughts, trying to plot a way to find out the truth behind this strange, Twi’lek girl.

If she looks back, she knows more than she seems to give away.

And yes, while she was blending into the scruffy Mos Eisley crowds, the Twi’lek gave one last, incriminating and damning look over her shoulder, before disappearing into the mass of brown-clad mob that formed the population of the space port. That single look over her shoulder have the colonel enough reason to doubt her good intentions. Whoever she was, she did not want to be found there. Like most in this wretched place, the was running from something. She seemed, however, too fair a maiden to have made many enemies by accident. Whoever she was, she was important. Whoever she was, capturing her would be no black stain on his service record.

Quickly, he went into a quiet pursuit, keeping his distance while fixing his gaze on his prey. Sometimes, every now and again, she slipped away from view, but the colonel always regained a line of sight shortly after. Whenever she turned, whenever she looked behind, he tried to hide himself behind other market-goers. This wasn’t always easy. After all, a human was not easily disguised by a band of squealing Jawa’s, but he tried his best to blend in. While going into this lonely pursuit, he used his holographic communicator to reach the commander of the two LAAT/i gunships stationed outside the city borders. If ever he needed their help, it was now. If people ran from something to hide on Tatooine, they usually were not too shabby fighters. After all, one had to survive the Hutt cartels living here, and the lack of revealing clothing on the alien girl told him that she was no Hutt property. He signalled his second-in-command. A stormtrooper, fully clad in armour and armed with a rifle, appeared in blue translucent form.

“Squad Delta and Omega are at your command, sir.”

“Good. Get them inside, the gunships, we are going to pick someone up. I suspect a kind of bounty hunter. It is clear she does not want to be found. I believe I’m standing in front of her hut now. Wow, that’s a very dirty place to live. Disgusting outer rim worlds… I’m sending you my coordinates.”

As he said that, he saw his female prey, reasonably out in the open. In these slums, there were no real crowds of people to use as cover. These streets were littered with the most foul and wretched scum the universe had to offer. Slave huts, indentured serves, fugitives from every crime clan known to the universe. Collateral damage would cause no public outcry, he knew. If anything, the local population would thank the empire for cleaning the filth from the streets. A stray missile would never miss, so to speak.

And there, like a take-away meal on Corsucant, swift as the Valkyries, rushed on two LAAT’s. Their black markings making them not easily recognisable as former Republican vessels, although they had seen service since the battle of Kashyyyk, where they were deployed side by side on the right flank of the Droid Advance. They had been in service longer than most soldiers inside them, most of whom had signed up as volunteers in the first wave of Imperial Military Reforms. They began as dark blips on the horizon, but soon the distinct roar of their engines made many a man look up in the sky with naught but interest. Interest and fear, for some of the bounty hunters who had fought against the Republic. As the two craft descended towards the street surface, the latches on the side opened, revealing the troopers inside. Twenty there were in total, each of them with white armour covered in black markings. The most distinct of which was the black skull painted on their shoulder guards, a marking specific to their unit. These were no ordinary troopers, that was clear to see. Light as a spring breeze, these machines of war touched down, spawning their occupants forth like some kind of alien egg, before taking to the skies again. They would serve as artillery and support, while the stormtoopers subdued their victim with ease. At least, that was suspected.

Quickly, the twenty troopers and the colonel, who had slipped into his own suit of armour, formed a line facing the door the Twi’lek had just entered. With their weapons aimed at the door, they waited for further instructions, exactly as they had been drilled to do. Also like they had been drilled, their weapons were set to stun. The highest possible prize to gain in these kind of situations was a live captive. Those delivered the highest increase in pay, they knew. As was custom and regulatory, colonel Vastra came forth, still aiming his rifle at the door. He removed his helmet, before proclaiming his demands.

“Twi’lek woman. You know I am talking to you. You are under arrest for propaganda against the empire, efforts to undermine Imperial Authority, and suspected violent acts against the former Republic. I command you to step outside and surrender to me, or I will execute the death sentence set on these crimes on the spot. You have two minutes to comply, before we come and get you.”

Then, he put his helmet back on, and took a few steps back, to fall back in line with the rest of his troopers. The gunships floated uneasily overhead, twisting and turning, always keeping their front guns aimed at the collection of huts the female was supposed to be held up. Onlookers became more curious by the second, and one by one, they began to step closer to the group of men in white-black armour. They set aside their fear, and began talking with each other, beginning the wild theories of what was about to happen. What was about to happen, of course, depended entirely on what the Twi’lek was about to do.

Rex and Mary arrived at Mos Eisley before they went towards the small Spaceport six Storm troopers walked up to them.

"Excuse us sir but who is that right behind you?" The Captain asked.

"Oh that's my teenage Daughter." Rex lied.

"Why is she wearing a hamlet?" The Captain asked.

"She's very shy." Rex lied.

"Hmm." The Captain said.

I hope this worksRex thought.

"Alright move along." The Captain said walking away from them.

"That was close." Rex told Mary.

"Most Storm Troopers are stupid." Mary said as she followed Rex.

Mos Eisley
Eris dropped her fork, the small metal object falling into her uneaten dinner. She gripped her unignited lightsber in one hand and peered out the window, slowly scanning outside. The man in the middle, the one who was seemingly in command, had been in the market.

"I should have known," Eris sighed, shaking her head. "Ive gotten rusty."

As the two minutes counted down, Eris gathered her things, racing around her hovel. She had to think of something. Walk out the door all guns blazing? No, that would be suicide. Try to negotiate? Again, they would find her lightsaber and execute her. Then it hit her.

"The roof."

She quickly hopped up the stunted steps that lead to a small door, little more than a hatch. The rusted hinges looked as though they had not moved in generations, and, to her horror, Eris realized she had never even tried to open the door before today. She gripped the handle, and pulled with all her might. The hinges creaked and groaned, but the hatch moved nary an inch. She had only one option, and she prayed it would not make too much noise.

With the click of the hilt's activator, a brilliant blue blade sprung forth from the Twi'leks hand. Eris thrusted the saber deep into the door, and began to cut through the hinges. In seconds, the door fell off the wall, revealing the crumbling skyline of Mos Eisley. Before stepping out from the door, Eris reached out with the force, and began to sense her surroundings. The Stromtroopers had surrounded her building, any point of escape would lead to conflict. She had no where to go.

The Twi'lek peered over the edge of the roof, and onto the street below. The commander stood, watching the count down clock. The squad of troopers were clearly elite, and judging on their armour, had experience fighting jedi.

"Two... One..." The Commander said, raising his blaster.

Before any of the troops could even put their hands on their triggers, Eris leaped from the rooftop, silhouetted against the sun. The troopers raised their weapons, but Eris was too quick. Landing in a crouch, she dodged past two of the troopers, and raced down the street. She dived around a corner, knocking a stack of boxes in a vain attempt to slow her pursuers down. As she ran down the streets, A pair of troopers cut her off, and raised their weapons.

The Twi'lek dodged several shots, and span to the side, running up the side of the dusty buildings. Gripping one of the soldiers helmets, Eris flipped about, and span, breaking the troopers neck. The second of the soldiers span about, and fired. The bolt grazed Eris on the arm, causing Eris to stumble slightly. She had tried to avoid drawing her lightsaber, but she could not fight off the battalion with her bare hands. As a second shot came streaking towards her, Eris' lightsaber hilt flew into her hand, and with a click, ignited, swatting aside the bolt. Leaping through the air, Eris sliced the trooper across the chest, leaving a sizzling arc along his armour.

Eris looked around, and ducked down a narrow alley, hoping to escape before the rest of the patrol arrived.

"I sense another Jedi here." Mary told Rex.

"I doubt it." Rex said as he and Mary went inside the bar.

"Just sit down at that Table over there." Rex said Mary nods and went towards the bar keeper.

"How may i help you?" The Bar keeper asked.

"Two blue milk please." Rex said giving the bar keeper 12 credits.

"Here you go." The bar keeper said giving Rex two glass of Blue milk.

"Thanks." Rex said grabbing both glass and went towards the table Mary is sitting at.

"Blue milk really?" Mary asked.

"Hey this stuff is good." Rex said sitting down at the table.

"So when will this guy come?" Mary asked pushing the blue milk away.

"He should be here any soon." Rex said.

His black rifle trained on her, ready to fire if she made any sudden movements.

Seeing no real way out of it, she raises her hands in the air in surrender. While being arrested was definitely not her ideal chance at getting to Mos Eisley, it was certainly going to get her there and she might be able to escape while there. Who knows? The arrest might be for her benefit after all, although her name will then have an even worse record than before and adding 'murder' or 'escape from custody' would effectively make her a sought after fugitive as far as the Empire was concerned. Either way, she was stuck. She couldn't get out of her current predicament through violence, and making a move for her gun would get her shot dead before she even reaches it. She was beginning to wish she had a lightsaber like those fancy Jedi her father told her stories about, she heard about how they were able to deflect blaster shots and that would definitely come in handy.

But she didn't, so she prepared herself for arrest.

Shasta's eyes went wide and his mind went in confusion. The word arrest confused him was it like a kill or take or something. These thoughts went through his head for only half a moment but there were many thoughts all at once with a mysterious tingling. Then he twirled the staff around and hit the trooper's gun without thinking a loud crack of electricity came out electrifying the gun. He didn't even think about it before twirling the Beskar staff and small biof electricity coming out. During this he never thought about it just did. And Drugg like ordered took off to a safe distance thinking crap crap crap...

Using the moment of surprise that caught the stormtroopers off guard, Keya drew her gun on him and fired him in the head. Sending his bright white helmet, burnt, off of his head and into the sand. She then quickly turned to the other 4 and quickly released her other shots into them before they had a chance to respond to her. They seemed to focus on the boy for some reason, and that made them easy prey for her blaster pistol. "There we go." She said as she looked at the dead stormtrooper who was questioning her before. "Such a waste, was quite handsome." Of course, they all pretty much looked the same, but they were still decently cute despite that.

She then turned to Shasta. "Nice trick" She said to the boy, flashing him a quick smile. "Your family teach you that? Cause I want to learn it too."

His mind came back to him and he was... exhausted. He called Drugg back and hopped on it saying to the girl "later". She actually seemed quite young for killing those men but many village people killed humans before that. He noticed some weird ships landing at Mos Eisley in the distance and pointed at them. He petted Drugg some more saying to him in Sand person "we're so lucky". The Bantha just made a sound saying to him "yeah". Shasta motioned to the girl to hop back on as Drugg began walking.

Vikan span to face his attacker, emerald Sabre held high. A young boy, no older than 16 stood before him. The Zabrak lowered his blade, raising en eyebrow.
"A boy," he grinned, deactivating his saber.

"It is not wise for your to blindly attack strangers. You never know how fast they could be. Your swing left your guard open, I could have killed you had I wished."
Vikan pointed at Aaron.
"Your lucky I dont wish that."

Aaron stared in wide eyed shock at the stranger as he let his Lightsaber fall limply to his side. "Your... Your a Jedi!" Aaron said in shock before letting his face break into a wide smile "I'm not the last one! There are others out there!" Aaron said as he laughed with glee and danced around the room in delight "You must tell me how you came to be here on Tython and what has been happening in the Galaxy for the last 2 years. I've been stranded here on Tython and all I know is that the clones assigned to help us turned on my master and me and disabled the ship before I could stop them." Aaron said still smiling as he unlit his Lightsaber before sitting down on the floor of the ancient Jedi catacombs.

Coruscant
Aliya strode over to the unconscious Officer, and knelt beside him, placing a hand on his forehead. She sighed and stood, returning her lightsaber to her hilt.

"No, I find it unlikely that he will remember anything of us anyways, that blow really got him good."

Aliya looked around. Bodies of stormtroopers were strewn all over the alley, some with deep hashes in their armour, some with blast holes, but all of them lay unmoving. The troopers that had survived would surely return, and in greater numbers. She began to walk down the street.

"We must get off Coruscant," she said softly to her new found colleague. "I have been trying to for the past few months, but Imperial inspections make it nigh impossible."
The Togruata looked around.

"And, as we have now seen, Imperial ground patrols are getting stronger, and far more frequent."

Three LAAT gunships began to come into view, far off into the distance. Their unique engine noise was once music to the Aliya's ears, having been their saving grace on Geonosis. Now they were the harbingers of death and destruction.

"Will you come with me?"

Vikan raised an eyebrows at the boys frivolity, and his display of emotion. The elder Jedi merely snorted his disapproval.

"I would not be here if I were not stranded as well, young one. My vessel was shot down by my own Cruiser, and I have been living here since then. Just beyond the eastern hills, the wreckage of my ship has been my home."

Vikan kicked at the dirt floor, shaking his head.

"I did not come here, who knows what evil one could find in the ancient places of this world."

The Zabrak took stock of the boy, eying him and his youthful disposition. He had clearly not seen much combat, and his exuberance meant he was unstated by the toils of War. Vikan on the other hand, had seen his fair share.

"Where is your master now? A boy your age must not be left alone, untrained. Come, we should leave these catacombs."

Aaron fell silent at the mention of his master "He was shot by the clones that were sent to aid us in our mission. He had been examining one of the columns here when the clones took out their weapons and shot him in the back. I released a blast that collapsed the ceiling on top of the clones before taking out the rest. Unfortunately my ship was also damaged in the struggle and I have been unable to leave or make contact with the council for the last 2 years. How goes the war with the Separatists? I have had no news about the galaxy for the last 2 years." Aaron finished as he followed the Zabrak out of the catacombs.
Nothing to see here. Move along.

Vikan gave Aaron a question look as they emerged from the darkness of the catacombs into the ancient, and now overrun, gardens of the Tython Temple.

"My communications device in my ship only had enough power to last for a few days, but in that time, the Galaxy changed. The War with the CIS is over, the Separatist Council was assassinated, and their Droid armies were dismantled."

Joy clearly spread across the boys face at these words, but Vikan had not finished.

"The troopers through turned on us, apparently, we're not an isolated group. From what I could gather from the messages I did receive on the transmitter, Clones across the whole Galaxy turned on us. The Supreme Chancellor dissolved the Republic, replacing it with the newly born Empire. They have been hunting Jedi down ever since. After that, all the transmitter could pick up was static. For all we know, we are the last Jedi left."

Vikan didn't want to admit it, but it was a possibility. They could be alone, lost, the last of their kind. But he was not so sure. As the thousands of Jedi all across the Galaxy were slain, the surge in the Force was obvious and clear. Vikan had felt it profoundly. But, even as he knew nearly all his kin were slain, he also was equally certain that out there, in the vast darkness of the Universe, some still survived.

Images flashed through Vikans head, memories of his friends and family at the Temple.

His crushing victory during his first lightsaber lesson with Master Yoda.
His training with Madame Jocasta in the Library.
His Master and him slicing through a veritable army of bounty hunters to reach their target.

A life, that he had once had.
