Star Wars Jedi Purge RP ( Redux )

Postby Bearon » Mon Oct 13, 2014 11:42 am

Aaron smiled as he neared One Eye one of the many animals he had managed to befriend in the time he had spent on Tython. Walking over to the raccoon named for the single eye that rolled around seemingly randomly in its left socket the other having been pecked out by a particularly vicious hawk that the wily raccoon had managed to escape from, Aaron crouched down and began communicating through a series of growls and barks. The raccoon chittered back before giving Aaron a meaningful look and disappearing into the bush he had come from. Straightening from his crouch Aaron stood to his full height which was around 5'10 though he looked taller due to his relatively thin and lithe figure. "So strangers have come to Tython?" Aaron thought to himself as he began making his way back to the temple.

He himself had not seen another sentient being since his master Tarus Narn had been betrayed by his clone troopers. Aaron loosened his grip on his Lightsaber which he had unconsciously wrapped his fist around and took a deep breath to calm himself. His master would not have wanted him to be consumed by his anger but at times Aaron couldn't help himself almost as if a dark presence in the Galaxy was encouraging and feeding off them and reminding him of all that had happened as it encouraged him to seek vengeance and retribution. Shaking his head Aaron pushed his dark musings to the back of his mind as he reached the temple and entered its vast halls. He would need a few things before he faced the intruders and he would of course have to make his way back to that place.

Shasta rode Drugg his Bantha through the desert. The Bantha was given to him by his family, the sand people. They exiled him a week earlier due to him learning basic. He only had the sand people (except his mask) clothes on his back, Drugg, and a metal staff. Over the years the staff had collected electricity for seemingly no reason. A town was approaching on the distance. The town he had heard from his family was called Mos Eisley. "How are you Drugg" he said to his Bantha in Sand people. Drugg made a usual Bantha sound meaning tired. "Don't worry a town is near which hopefully we can rest at" Shasta replied. Drugg made another sigh like sound which seemed to say "Sure you have nothing worth of trade". "Worrier" Shasta responded. There was little food in his pouch and a small amount of water. It would take a few more hours to arrive there but hopefully they wouldn't die immediately.

Keya Lictm
Mos Espa; Tatooine

Keya looked about the cargo she brought in from the Hutts to the secluded city of Mos Espa. The crates mainly contained illegal spice to keep what Jabba had left of a spice trade in the area. Ever since the Empire arrived on Tatooine, they've been cracking down in areas like Mos Espa. Jabba knew that Mos Espa didn't have the people nor the trading opportunities that other settlements had, and has all but given up on the settlement. She was able to get it here, not by her ship which she left docked in Mos Eisley, but by the help of some hired Jawas. Strange little creatures was all she really thought of them, but their sandcrawlers were large enough to move all the cargo and they were often permitted without much trouble by the Imperials. It was nice, though she had to keep their grubby paws from touching her cargo, which was annoying, but she still got the cargo there in one piece. They arrived in Mos Espa around an hour ago, and she moved the crates to a warehouse along with some Jawa junk in order to not look suspicious.

She looked over the crates of spice, quite a number of the stuff filled each crate. She wasn't proud of moving such a nasty thing around, given what it is used for and the effects it has, but she did what she had to to make a living. She lived a rather free life, and in return she had to do some unsavory business. Keya still tried to do what was right here and there, but she still had to make a living. After cataloging the crates, she then turned to the Hutt informant, a relatively young Zabrak. He wore scraggy clothing, obviously wasn't paid all that well by his crime masters, but he was likely just trying to make a living like the rest of us. "That's everything!" Keya said to the Zabrak, who was looking over the cargo intently. "I'm expecting my payment." She said impatiently, not wanting to be in an area where the Imperials could barge in and arrest her for smuggling a highly illegal substance. She wanted to get her payment and get out.

The Zabrak turned to her, he wore a very serious face and his right eye appeared to be paler than the other which shined a sort of yellow. He was likely blind in the other eye for some reason or another, infection or violence could of all caused such a thing. "This is everything that was requested..." He said as he dug his hands into his pockets. Likely to pull out her credit payment. His voice was very child-like, and he definitely didn't look older than her. The Zabrak was likely around 12 or 13, definitely not the age for this sort of work. It boggled her mind that anyone that young would work in these conditions, though she then remembers how old she is and what she does for a living. She's been doing it for only a year now, but she's been in practically training since she was born. So it wasn't likely her place to judge, though she was never in such a dire situation as this man, this boy, appeared to be in. "Here's the amount that you're due." He finally said, breaking her of her train of thought, as he held out the credit payment she was offered at the beginning of the job.

"Alright then." She said as she pulled the credits from his hand and looked them over, making sure it was the correct amount. She hasn't been swindled yet, but she definitely wasn't going to let her guard down for it to happen. So she counted the credits and it did indeed match up with her payment of 300 credits. Most would be all ecstatic for the payment, but much of it went to refueling and maintenance for her ship and equipment and she rarely spends any of what she earned in the case she actually needs it later on. It was a pretty decent payment, but it wasn't like she was going to live in the lap of luxury with it. "Thank you, pleasure doing business with you." She said as she pocketed the money and turned to leave.

"Don't lie..." She hears behind her from the young Zabrak. "It's never a pleasure doing this." He says with a sad tone. It was definitely a bit depressing and Keya didn't like being depressed, but she couldn't really say she was having the time of her life either. She just continued walking until she was out of the warehouse and in the streets of the settlement of Mos Espa. It was a pretty typical settlement on the deserts of Tatooine, its glory days of crime are well behind it and maybe it'll try something better for itself. Maybe it'll become some big moisture farm settlement or something, you never know. Either way, the Jawas that brought her here aren't going to be taking her back, as they already left for parts unkown. So she was left asking herself: "How do I get back now?"

Shasta was thinking of basically nothing when Drugg made another sound saying "Hey town over there". Shasta turned his head and looked seeing the small city. How did he miss it? However he did he decided to travel to the town his family called Mos Espa. It seemed smaller than Mos Eisley but perhaps he could get food and water there. He turned Drugg over to there and started the around 20 minute journey to Mos Espa.

Keya roamed around the settlement for a while now. Taking in what sights of the place that she could, moseying her way to the old pod race track and through some of the shops. She also noticed the slave quarters that once belonged to the Hutts was still operational, despite Jabba leaving due to Imperial involvement. As the Empire instituted slavery as legal in all planets under its rule, slavery has become more of a commodity for those favored by the Imperial leadership. Speaking mostly of the governors and military officials of its ranks. Whether it was legal or illegal, Keya despised the idea of slavery. Oh, how she hoped to free them from their shackles, but she couldn't get in trouble with the Imperial law here. Not when her ship was so far away.

She looked out towards the sands to see someone riding a bantha in the distance. Seemed a bit strange to her, but it was an opportunity to get out of here. The speeder salesperson wasn't renting out her speeders, and she was selling them at terrible prices. So this bantha was her only likely ticket out of here to arrive in Mos Eisley in decent time. She then began making her way towards the bantha rider, being sure to appear non hostile as to not possibly scare the person away.

While Shasta rode Drugg he noticed a figure walking out towards him. Immensely startled he fell onto the hot sands with his sand person clothes luckily protecting him from the fall and the heat. Drugg seemed to say "What"? "I think it's a human" he said to Drugg in Sand person. Drugg got a bit more tense at that line saying "definitely not Sand person and... female". "Let me try and talk to her" he says getting up and grabbing his metal staff. He walks a bit closer to her but still at a safe distance attempting to do his best in speaking basic "Hello, may I help?". It was difficult to speak but he knew the very basics. Though his speech staggered and wasn't fluent or anywhere close.

Keya noted the boy's strange attire, he was most definitely a boy. Couldn't be any older than 5, and alone traveling the wastes was a bit strange. Even stranger than some of the things she's seen. She noted his difficulty in speaking, maybe he just learned to speak or something. It was unknown to her, but he still knew how to speak basic, so that's something. "Yes, I was wondering if I could procure travel to Mos Eisley." She said nicely to him, not wanting to startle him further. She gave him a disarming smile, as to show she meant no harm. "I have credits to offer, and we can come to an arrangement once we get there."

Shasta pretty much only heard 'I want travel Mos Eisley, credits'. He knew credits was a human currency so that would be useful. He asked Drugg in sand person "good idea"? Drugg made a response saying to him "we need something to sustain me and you". "Yes" he responded plainly hopping on Drugg's back and motioning her to get on. Humans were definitely strange he thought not knowing he was a human.

Keya was happy to find a ride out of the former Hutt crime settlement so that she could get back to her ship. Though the boy was still interesting, it was as if he was talking to the Bantha. That was strange to her, maybe it's a Tatooine thing or something. or it could be he had a real strong connection with it, she sometimes talked to her ship. Some people thought it was weird, but she sometimes did it. Maybe he does the same or something. "Thanks!" She said as she jumped on the bantha behind the boy. "I'm assuming you know where Mos Eisley is, so I'll just sit on back and make conversation till we get there." She said happily to the boy. "Speaking of conversation, what's your name?"

"I saw Mos Eisley earlier" he replied pointing the direction he saw it then answered her second name "Shasta". The green skinned human seemed to be happy and cheerful enough so he didn't mind her questions. Then speaking in sand person to Drugg "come on full speed". The Dune Bantha made a mooing like sound meaning to him "walking it is then". The Bantha began walking the slow walk to Mos Eisley which would take a few hours at least days at ultimate most...

Mos Eisley
"Hey, can I buy you a drink?"

Eris turned slowly, as the odor of stale booze washed over her. The Bith who had been watching her all evening had seemed to finally muster the courage to talk to her. Whether this was of his own will, or the evil machinations of the alcohol that no doubt still clung to his system, Eris did not know. She smirked slightly, straightening her hood.

"Darling, your the fourth person to ask me that tonight. If you want to know how that turned out, perhaps you should talk to Rezoo over there."

Eris pointed to an unconscious Rodian, face swollen from what was clearly a powerful punch. The Bith backed away slowly, much to the amusement of Eris.

"Barman," she called, raising her glass," One more of these, make it to go."

She grabbed her glass, and handed over a couple credits, before making her way out of the bar, and onto the street. She had been posted near by when order 66 had been issued. She has only made Jedi Knight a few weeks earlier, giving her no time to take on a Padawan. Eris shook her head, and turned down a distinctly dark alley.

"Jedi Knight, a member of a non-existent order."
She sighed.
"No, as long as I live, and maybe others as well, the Order shall survive within us."

Eris gulped down her drink, before moving onot the main street of Most Eisley, and began shopping for her weekly groceries.

As she inspected a group of assorted meats, she smiled, a funny thought moving through her mind.
"A valiant Jedi Knight, on a daring and dangerous mission. The task: Find the rare and valuable ingredients to Ryloth Stew."
She turned and looked down the street.
"A far cry from my old missions, a far cry indeed."

Tython
Andar moved through the trees silently, lithe like a predatory cat stalking its prey. His lightsaber hilt was i his hand, blade unignited. He had been following his mark for an hour or so, his nightly ritual before dinner. To keep his skills sharp, and his mind away from reality, Andar had sworn to never eat his emergency rations, a large supply of which lay within his downed corvette. When order 66 was issued, his Cruiser had opened fire, stranding him here. His Padawan and he had survived the crash, but the bridge officers turned on them, killing the student, but failing to overcome the master. The Clones whom he had served with now littered the jungle, in pieces after Vikan was through with them.

The animal popped from behind a rock, and before it had realized its impending death, Vikan had broke its neck, having leaped from his perch. He slung the beast over his back, and began to make his way back to the ruins of his ship.

One day, he would find a way off this planet.

Sitting in a metal frame chair was a boy in soldier like garb, over his light grey hair was a cap of pitch causing him to blend with the darkness as it melded with his clothes. Three other figures came in, the fires below lighting their faces up. "We have captured several thousand credits worth of goods from those street rats. You wish us to pawn them off and give the money to those in need?" The seated boy laughed and tilted his hat up, under the bill were two piercing eyes of red and teeth befitting of a monster. "Of course, keep the bare minimum we need to stock up weapons, supplies, and ammunition, then give the rest to those who honestly need it." Below the lofty hiding place metal could be heard sizzling on lava, "Oh, and don't let me catch anyone stuffing their pockets with this relief funding. Remember what happened to the last guy?" Lining the long catwalk was a set of statues... or at least what now were statues. Hurriedly the three saluted and walked out, nearly ran, "Their faces, that was priceless." On his table a holographic red alert beacon popped up. "Oh lovely, what now?" Clicking it he saw a group of his scavengers were pinned by mercenaries hired by some local syndicate. Breathing deeply the black clad boy exhaled, calm and mentally solid he was.

"I want you to take position behind those shipments of ore, they will block most bullets, safer than standing up. With caution begin to retreat back out of the alley. Line the sides of those buildings and when they pop through open fire until the last one hits the ground. I want their bodies butchered and made into warnings. Something so terrifying that even the Siths themselves would run scared." He ended the communication after watching the enemy be cut down by his tactics. "I might just have the leadership it takes to win all this." He said with a cocky grin before leaning back in his chair. "Robert, you are becoming... unstable." A small large bulb headed droid of only a foot tall said before seating itself by his hand on the table. "Your battle plans and tactics are brilliant for your age, but at what cost? You one day wished to be a Jedi, but now... you're becoming less human by the battle. Everyday I watch you progress into a far darker nature, you may not wish to hear this; war is becoming your hobby. Question is, what does this mean about all that you love?" That hit pretty deeply in the lad. "Shut up, Andrew." He powered the machine down with a wave of his hand before walking out the door to his far right. Leaving the place known as the Abyss to most he entered the shadow of day.

This was his home, the slums under a giant city of thousands of stories tall. His empire was nothing compared to those he competed with, but the only thing he fought for was defense of this small neighborhood. Not much, just a few dozen blocks. It was his own world though of its own. Climbing a set of stairs he walked into an apartment to find a little girl sitting with an older woman, the toddler approached Robert and hugged him. "Hey, so you've had a good day?" She nodded, this was Robert's little sister Amanda. The elder stood and Robert spoke to her now, "Thank you for watching Amanda again." The little old lady walked out of the apartment after handing Robert a bag of food, "She was no problem, I am glad to be of assistance." The closing door left him alone with the little girl. "How was work?" She hugged him tightly. "It was good." Amanda proceeded to go on about the Jedi and how amazing they are. "Alright, well it is getting a bit late, you need to change for bed." She faded off down the halls, behind her Rob was left alone, the gears in his head moving. "The Sith are moving closer to here it looks like... I just hope they skip this place over, not much here anyway." Watching the screen of the television he saw local news and even galaxy wide news of the conflicts arising.

Helen Astaron
Corellia

Helen landed her light freighter, renamed the Star's Shadow at the seemingly abandoned port. She used to only own a small fighter, but she had won Star's Shadow after sneaking aboard and taking command of the ship from the pirates. She had been merciful, a quick blaster bolt to the head finished them, after which she jettisoned them into space. Some might think it evil or distasteful, Helen thought of it as being an opportunist. She had seen the chance, and taken it. Besides, the pirates weren't using it that much, and they had probably been just another crew who had taken over the ship from the last owners. After riding the ship of the sickening smell the pirates had left, she had gained a few credits by selling the rest of the booze in the storeroom. With a few more smuggling jobs, she was able to get the Star's Shadow a new paint job, and had fiddled with it to add that extra speed.

At the landing pad, she quickly landed the ship and allowed the droids aboard to transport the goods to an unknown location. She did not know what was in the cargo, and she was fine with that, as long as there weren't any drugs or slaves, one of her trademarks. She abhorred those vile drugs, to which her poor older brother had succumbed, being addicted to them.

Pulling her hood over her head and grabbing her long dark cloak closer to her, checking her two blasters, grenades and the rest of her gear, she glanced furtively around before stepping out onto the ramp and out of her ship. It was night, and the only sound to be heard was the strange, squealing language of the droids, as they transported the goods. In front of her, the recipient was waiting. Nodding to each other, the two walked to a dark corner away from the pad, after which Helen was handed a small suitcase. Opening the suitcase, Helen got out her scanner, and checked each one, making sure that there were no counterfeit credits, and counted them. It was correct, exactly 1,250 credits, some in credit chip form. Nodding to the person and herself, she closed the suitcase and stood up, offering a handshake. The person appeared to smirk and turned away. Shrugging to herself, Helen returned to her ship and made sure nothing had been tampered with. Once she was satisfied, she pulled up and flew out, giving the necessary code for exiting Corellia, before swirling in her captain's chair to look at the model of the galaxy.
She pondered where she would go next, she did not have the money to return to her homeland of beautiful Alderaan yet, but she would, one day. For now, she decided on Tython. Though the old Jedi temple was sacred and she had rather liked the Jedi, they were gone, or at least almost all of them, exterminated by the Empire and the dark, mysterious and brooding Darth Vader. But now, all that remained for her was business, and though nothing might be left, as Tython was probably raided long ago by other smugglers, she would go, nevertheless, in defiance of the Empire, to sell any artifacts or valuables she found, at least, the ones she did not want to keep. A lightsaber would sell on the black market for millions, but Helen would prefer to keep one and sell the other, if she found one. Also she had sensed something inside her, a 6th sense, some strange dormant power that ran through her soul and her veins, strengthening her and giving her a heightened perception of events around her. It was calling to her, and she felt as if she was meant to go to Tython, so to Tython, she would go. Whether it was destiny or fate, she did not know, but she was born in the stars, as her father always used to say in explanation of the family surname, Astaron. For somewhere in the galaxy, out there was her future, out there, was her destiny.

Keya just rode along with the Bantha, waiting for them to arrive in Mos Eisley so she could get off the desert rock and back into space. She enjoyed her life as a smuggler, the constant free life out in open space made her feel, well, obviously free. And she enjoyed that more than anything, the freedom. Freedom from the law and the several other things that would tie her down if she remained in one place. She felt at home in her ever moving ship, and she liked the constant travel of it all.

Though the boy interested her, there was something about him that still didn't feel right to her. Maybe it was his garb, or the fact that the bantha seems to respond to him when he talks. She at first thought that was like a pet thing, but it obviously understands him in the strange tongue he talks when speaking with it. She decided to get to know the boy, Shasta, a bit more. "So, what's a boy like you doing out here all by yourself?" She then thought for a moment, he could easily try to change the subject or make a joke to get off topic by saying he's not alone but with the bantha. So she decided that it would be best to include the bantha in the question. "Well, alone with the bantha?"

Making his way down the abandoned halls of the Jedi temple Aaron turned left as the hallway ended and as he neared the spiral staircase he began the long journey that led up to the former Jedi observatory. As he reached the top Aaron stepped through the doorframe and entered into the room he had claimed as his own. The room was filled with empty ration packets which he had used to supplement his vegetarian diet along with whatever bits and pieces of the ship Aaron had been able to save after the fire. Getting up and moving around the room Aaron grabbed a few scattered things putting some of the smaller tools along with the remaining ration packs in his survival pack. Aaron hesitated as he reached out towards the last object he needed to take with him. Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath Aaron closed his fist around the hilt of his former master's Lightsaber and clipped it onto the belt loop next to his own Lightsaber.

Looking around the room Aaron didn't know why but he had the strange feeling that he would never see this place again and though he longed to escape the confines of this planet he would miss this room and the long nights he had spent here gazing out of some of the undamaged telescopes at the stars. Sighing Aaron hoisted the pack over his shoulder as he turned around and made the long journey down the spiral stair case. Steeling his nerves Aaron made his way down to the temple catacombs, the last place Aaron had seen his master alive. Entering into the darkness that was the catacombs Aaron reached into his pack and felt around till he managed to grab a glow stick, Aaron bent it near the middle causing it to light up in a neon green glow allowing Aaron to continue down the now illuminated pathway. If his premonitions were correct he would never see this place again and he had to visit his master one last time before leaving for good.

There he goes again Keya said in her mind, talking to the bantha in the strange language. It made her wonder more about him, like where he learned to speak bantha, as he seemed to carry full conversations with it. Not to mention his mentioning of exile, it seems a bit harsh to exile child for just about anything really. What could as someone as young as him do that would warrant exile? And exile from what, exactly? He was quite complex, despite appearing to be young. Not to mention conversation is good to pass time, which she had plenty of while moving along the dunes. "So... Exile from what? Where ya from? Life story? Well, early life story I guess."

Tython
With keen eyesight, Vikan scanned the dilapidated ruins of the Ancient Jedi Temple. The place could have passed as a little slice of Raxus Prime or Ord Mantell, but still bore some obvious signs of the order. Vikan swiftly spotted some old insignia of the high council, and while his gut told him it was a bad idea, the place had a certain allure to all Jedi, a calling, to see the ancient walls of the most venerable Masters. It had been abandoned for thousands of years, and yet, it could still have felt like home to many Jedi, it could have been the home of many Jedi.

"It could still be the home of many Jedi..." Vikan thought, and idea swelling in his mind.

There was a crunch, as some unknown best marched through the forest. Grunting, the Zabrak walked from the undergrowth and began to enter the great building. The vaulted halls were more or less intact, with only chunks of roof missing, and a great number of plants slowly invading. Vikan found the place fascinating, he had heard stories of the wonders of Tython, but the pure energy that flowed through this place was astounding.

Vikan journeyed through the building, eventually coming to what was once the High Council Chamber. Chairs lay dusty and moldy in their places, as they stood in Tythons Prime. He turned back down, before finding a small tunnel, blasted into the rock.

"Catacombs," Vikan thought, igniting his emerald green Lightsaber to shine the way, as he journeyed down into their depths and secrets.

Malinche Cosolov wrapped herself tighter in her robes. She had been sleeping behind the dumpster for a rundown restaurant in the Coruscanti Underworld. The night was little different from the day in terms of light down here, and the people weren't much brighter, but it was beyond dangerous to venture back up to the upper levels. There the ruins of the Jedi Temple stood, if Palpatine hadn't had it built over by now, and stormtroopers appeared in the thousands, infesting the surface. Malinche couldn't even get a ride off-world because pilots were forbidden from helping Jedi and any smuggler who might help her might also turn her in for immunity from Imperial agents. At least down here she didn't have to worry about rain. She had learned to care for herself, mostly by scrounging through dumpsters and using weak mind tricks to make people give her scraps. Sometimes a group of stormtroopers would patrol in the Underworld, but it was a rarity and she almost invariably hid.

"Can it be any colder?" she mumbled. But by now, she was too tired to really care. Soon, she went to sleep. In her dream, she saw the Jedi Temple as it once was, and she and her Master were going about their daily lives. From a window, she saw Master Skywalker leading the 501st into the Temple. "Master, what do you suppose is going on with that?" she asked, then she saw the clones open fire on the Jedi at the gate. In her dream she could hear the shrieks of children being massacred by Vader and women being tortured and shot by the clones. Every Jedi fought back, few managed to keep the clones at bay. She and her Master had just fought off what seemed like nearly a hundred clones when finally Lord Vader appeared. "Malinche!" her Master ordered, "Go to Dexter's Diner and wait for me there!" As she ran, she looked back only to see Vader decapitate the elder Jedi.

Malinche awoke with a shriek. Her vision had rattled her nerves, as she had never gotten that far into the dream before forcing herself awake. She had always assumed her Master dead, but now she knew for certain. She got up, her limbs stiff from the cold and from the ground, and left the dumpster. She couldn't stay in one place too long. As she walked, she passed by a small shipping container with the words "Join the Imperial Academy" painted across it in Aurubesh with an image of Vader in the centre, in his life-support suit which costs almost as much as a small starship; Tarkin on Vader's left, who alone was also was guilty of countless murders, though not to the same extent as Vader; and, of course, self-proclaimed Emperor Palpatine on Vader's right. Infuriated by the mere sight of a picture of Skywalker, Malinche reached out with the Force and lifted the shipping container into the air. The shipping container then began to implode as she crushed it with the Force. Soon all that was left was a crumpled-up, metal ball with juice from the squashed and ruined Jogan Fruit inside flowing out from the cracks the process caused.

"Hey!" the captain of the freighter, a Quarren with a heavy accent, exclaimed, "You're gonna have to pay for that!"

Panicking, Malinche bolted off and hid in the bountiful shadows.

Keya was sweating under the heat of the twin suns, and took her sleeve to wipe off some of the sweat as Shasta told his story. She was a little saddened by the story, as to why he was banished and how he was raised by sand people. She wasn't a native of Tatooine, but you're pretty dumb if you hadn't at least heard about them after being on the planet for as long as she has been. Which would have been about 3 days, by local standard time anyway. Her mind searched for some way to console him, but figured it might be best to leave it be and focus on something now.

She turned to her right to see some stormtroopers pass by them, seemed kinda strange and a little suspicious. She turned her face away from them as to avoid them being able to identify her, if they were perhaps looking for her. She wasn't a well known smuggler by any means, and she did cover her tracks very well, though it's best to be safe rather than sorry. "So, when do we get to Mos Eisley?" She asked, a little more anxious to get there.

"Well, alright." She responded to his mention of a few hours away. She was a bit uneasy still, though she hoped that the stormtroopers would just pass without raising a fuss with her. Though they began to approach them, their white armor shining the suns off of them in blinding fury. Their black rifles were out, though they didn't appear to be ready to use them. Though they may just be trying to look like that, just in order to disarm any suspicions they have.

They pulled up by the bantha, that Shasta named Drugg, and one waved their free hand at Keya. There was about five of them in total, all armed like typical soldiers. One thing she was wondering was why they were out in the desert on foot, it was very strange. "Citizen, you must identify yourself!" Said the one that waved them off. Though it was strange, they likely had a reason for doing so. She turned to Shasta to see how he would react, but some him holding a staff of some sort. She hoped he didn't plan on something that might get them into trouble.
