Oh, I sent some Rurals to investigate your settlement east of me, by the by.

They are whalers. They have seen Ameralite ships at sea and bought an ameralite flag on the Arcean market or something. They know very little about the Ameralite though, hence the confusion with the arceans, about whom they also know little.

Um, I was under the impression we hadn't had any contact. At all. And why would the Arceans have an Ameralite flag?

Well, alright. It just seems outlandish for a random whaler to build a battle fleet to go hare off after a civilization he's never ICly heard of, instead of the very clear civilization he's at least passingly familiar with. I mean, he didn't walk down to where the Arceans were docked to see who to take revenge on?

Whaler Captains are Crazy. His official battle fleet is just one ship... for now.

Hmm. Well, alright then.
So to confirm what's going on ICly; his one ship has attacked some Ameralite merchantman, and defeated it in combat with the use of fireworks? I should point out that even merchantmen are armed with cannon, and most are clippers these days, able to outrun a whaling vessel.

No, Nothing is known about the ship sailing under the Ameralite flag or the ship with the black flag yet.

I know there will be plenty of complaints, so I'll wait before making it an official one.
