Erm, Hark, how does the captain know who Ameralites are? At this point in time no Ameralite has ever so much as visited Zadox. Only the Legate would have even heard the word. Do, um, how does the captain mistake a word he knows for one he has never heard, and sounds like gibberish to him? Let alone find shipping lanes to the regions these unknown people live in.

We had no contact, true, but we had contact with Arcea. They informed us about the existence of ameralite. By the way, The Whalers are not really Part of Zadoxian society. They are more like Sea-rats who return to zadox every now and then to sell their goods. Ameralite culture is still exotic or unknown to most in northen tredera. The pyramid builders however will soon gather some intelligence about the ameralite.
