Probably finding sources (probably Googling, but if you've got access to good books/libraries/etc. that'd be good too), checking my compilation work, making recommendations about the formatting and organisation, understanding how things are structured so that inconsistencies can be smoothed out and so that you can explain to others who might want to use it, having expertise in a field so that for tasks relating to it you can be consulted (this would have to be larger than, say, California, though

) and generally being a busybody I guess. That's my rough thought on it so far.

I've just had an idea; I could create some kind of database or program to display the "frequently used" numbers, or even XML to take info from populstat. Anybody got any ideas or expertise in that kind of stuff?

I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to do on Microsoft Access, but to do it to a degree that makes it easy to use...

Hm, yep. I'll work on this intermittently, I guess. I'm starting Global Politics, Geography (where apparently we're studying population growth) and 20th Century History next year, perhaps those will help.

I've selected all three humanities that my school offers, with my other subjects being Latin (pretty much humanities-in-disguise, no? history-heavy), English Language (which is like linguistics, which is pretty humanitiesish... maybe I can use its stuff to help me conlang), CISCO Networking VET (a vocational IT hardware thing) and Maths Methods. All in all, 5/7 humanities, not too shabby.
