Shall we plan on what to do for the war in South Atalanta? Basically Neserine (NPC 12) is riddled with drug lords, corrupt elites, basically Mexico. I plan on Salafis (NPC 13) becoming the world's absolute shithole. Salafis is basically hell on Earth, rampant with disease, violence, etc. The only forms of a stable government would be those under Aqruthian occupation, mainly due to its rich oil reserves, and to protect shipping from piracy.

I was thinking of masking it in the form of liberation from a bad life, whereas in fact the Aqruthians are there to stay for the sake of exploiting the oil reserves in Salafis. The militaries of Aqruthia would conduct operations on warlords, but won't invest much to actually solve the problem itself.

The justification would be that a powerful triad of warlords have formed and committed various acts of terrorism against Aqruthia and took several Aqruthian government officials hostage. So Ghondra arms warlords, Aqruthians act like they're maintaining peace while promoting conflict between various warlords and things that make it more complicated.

When Aqruthia manages to completely occupy the war-torn republic, the UNSC will authorize UN Inspectors, so we can make sure that the Aqruthians are doing what we think they're doing. Nevertheless Ghondra-Aqruthia International Relations will be damaged due to the fiasco.

Ghondra: great post! Minor detail change, though, Vanovar is (GMT -5). I haven't worked out much on my time zone map, but I got that bit! What's funny is that I got distracted when I started to write my forthcoming post and didn't know what time it was in Vanovar.

Also, I do have a post forthcoming today or tomorrow. If you could hold off advancing our cold war until then, I would appreciate it!
