Well, despite lack of IC, i'm going to say Persica would have little if any power projection in Evora, just as UFE would have little to no power projection onto the central continent. 3/4 PC countries in Evora are UFE members, and the one that is not a member is small.

True enough. Though I think that if Kolterung joined AEGIS, there would be some bases and assets for just that purpose. But with Kolt joining UFE, that locks up your end of the bay/sea.

I'm telling you right now, and this is from a Helvetian point of view, which would be more reserved than the Prussenija point of view; if Kolterung joined AEGIS and Persica or any other AEGIS member began moving military assets into Kolterung it would be viewed as an act of aggression by Helvetia and we would sink any ship going in or out of the country. We're already dealing with a shaky ceasefire on our east, we can't have an unfriendly alliance setting up shop to our west and cutting us off from Prussenija.

Makes sense. Largely academic now, but I do enjoy seeing things develop like this.

I'm just trying to save some trouble for Koterung, because I know it's inevitably going to lead to an armed conflict if they join AEGIS and the odds of it surviving are not good at all. Canada may as well apply for membership in the Soviet Union

Depending on the circumstances, that's a distinct possibility. Despite heading two separate alliances, I think the Brettonian economic union would ensure some cooperation between Persica and Ghondra.

Yes, I was only doing that in the OOC simply because I didn't have time to make an IC post sending a strongly worded message to Kolterung. I'll still probably send the message later today, just didn't want him making commitments to AEGIS while I was writing my term paper

Say Cymrea, isn't your government fairly authoritarian? Assuming the senior nobility in the Circle of Archons hold most of the legislative power in Persica, that is.

No, I meant send diplomats even though I wasn't invited, basically just to piss everyone off. Although, a hit team to kill the diplomats and heads of state wouldn't be such a bad idea...

Your 'diplomats' will probably be refused entry into the conference building, and if they insist they will be detained for 'disturbing the peace'. If you do send a kill-team... well good luck trying to get out, even if you do kill the diplomats (and that is a highly unlikely scenario. Considering the security.

If you do send a kill-team... well good luck trying to get out, even if you do kill the diplomats (and that is a highly unlikely scenario. Considering the security.
