Military: The Andorian Military is one of the primary area's of spending from the Andorian Government. The Ministry of Image uses propaganda to make them look like heroes to the glorious people of Andoria. The entirety of the Andorian Army operates with about 29.5 million units to its disposal, and. They go through arduous months of training to become highly disciplined. The Army also has a stockpile of 2500 nukes in their arsenal. They also have many Nuclear Interceptors placed within all the Andorian territory as well as Military bases nearby every city.

Navy: 400 Ships and 150 Submarines. The Navy Ships include Frigates, Destroyers and Aircraft Carriers, and have the ability to launch Nuclear ICBMs. The Andorian Submarines have the ability to also launch Nuclear Warheads. The Navy is made up of 8 million personnel.

Army: Standard ground forces are equipped with Galil ACE 23's, as well as Kahr Semiautomatic handguns. They wear three layers of Kevlar under their standard uniforms, as well as thermals in cold environments. They have about 15 million units.

Air Force: The Small Air force are granted a surprising amount of the budget. They have 6.5 million units.

A Brief History of My Nation:

Before the Federation was formed, there were 11 tribal communities who respected each of their separate territories and shared their resources with each other by simplistic trade. This was the dawn of a friendly age, where the Circle of elders were formed; this was a council of eleven old men who represented each tribe and they could discuss the needs of their people. It was a peaceful time, where each clan could go fishing by the sea or hunt wild animals in the vase forest of what was known as the "Andorian" Strip. The biggest of all the communities were the "Edans", which with their size led them to become the most powerful and influential to all the other communities and in the Elder Circle. Each of the separate Tribes were unique both culturally and socially, some had different racial traits, but that does not make a difference to their alliance. The language spoken by all the tribes had similarities. This eventually became known as "Modern Andorie" today, which is still spoken between all fourteen districts of Andoria.

In the 1600's, the tribes were getting closer to becoming a full nation when a rogue alliance attacked. An small alliance surprisingly attacked them in such a peaceful time. The eleven tribes who were in conjunction took this as a test to the new-found friendship between them and to see if their alliance would hold. What followed was a 90 year long war, which was long-drawn out but ultimately led to the Andorian tribes into victory. They executed the leaders of the three tribes, and replaced them with people they saw fit to lead in the those territories. Leaders were elected, and the three tribes joined the new country of Andoria. The shock of the war lasted for about 100 years before everyone in the Federation were and are seen as 'equals of each other'.

Today, the Andorian Federation lives happily, but perhaps are wary of the increasing amount of threats, such as violent terrorists. They operate in the darkest corners of country, and are constantly being tracked down by the Shadow Ministry. Surveillance is higher then it has been in many years, but life goes on as many say.

However, sometime in the 12th century, the Kingdom collapsed and its territories were divided into various city-states and sizable realms. Eventually, due to war and strategic royal marriages, the 4 nations that make up the Confederation were formed.

Initially, these nations fought amongst themselves in the attempt to restore the old empire. However, the arrival of the 'eastern peoples' sometime in the 16th centuries provoked these nations to sign a pact of mutual defense. Infighting during the pact era wasn't rare, but for every time the time the Brettonians invaded, the people of the 4 nations successfully repelled.

Eventually, western thinking latched on to the people of Altoran and spread to their neighbors. Altoriva was the first Aqruthian nation to westernize and industrialize, followed by Zaiikrav, Beshtarivo, and Tastiraii. This was known as the Reform Era, and numerous achievements, such as the Maiitval Canal which connected the Rhunic and Ostian oceans, and Sanisteru's numerous skyscrapers.

During the cold war, fear of being invaded or overpowered by its enemies invoked the 4 nations to form the Aqruthian Confederation. A single currency was put into place, borders between nations were opened, and relations flourished between them.

The Confederation's members, though culturally the same, are politically different; hence the division of the Aqruthians in the earlier times. However, the Aqruthian nations compete with one another to maintain a stronger economy, military, and technological achievement; theoretically for the sake of prestige and the ability to dictate the High Parliament's actions (an action no nation has succeeded in doing so). The Aqruthian Confederation is therefore, economically and technologically competent and possesses a strong military prowess able to challenge foreign powers, built upon internal competition which strives to best those inside and outside the Confederation.

Might I inquire what other nations think of Aqruthia? Although note that it is a Confederation composed of 4 nations, that by the Articles of Confederation, has to stick to one foreign policy. This may make the High Parliament slower-than-average in making decisions since each nation is represented equally by various political parties in their own lands and are very politically different.

Hm. You know what, that sounds like it could be fun. By the looks of it, we have too much democracy going on. Although we're not going to be nearly as autocratic as you, i'm sure we can form an alliance on the basis that Prussenija is our primary buyer of oil/natural gas.
