We could use SIS (Secret Intelligence Services) to conduct clandestine services to support anti-government resistance, distribute pamphlets to the general populace and target government officials to assassinate and bribe them in order to slowly open up Prussenjia to Foreign (read: Ghondran) markets, and exploit the Prussens for all they're worth.

Perspective: The Persican Crown and Government maintain peaceful relations with Ghondra, with limited military cooperation. The Persican people view Ghondra as self-important and internationally intrusive.

In the classical world, BC, it was known for it's trade routs that brought silk, gunpowder and various other inventions to the world, but during the Middle Ages it gradually became more and more isolated.
International relations have been improving since the beginning of the 20th century.

People - If a stranger came to Jiade and lived there for a while, the first noticeable thing is passive-aggressive resentment. The Jiadese are known for their distrust of foreign people and foreign governments. This is one of the things that has been affecting foreign relations.
In Jiadese opinion, everyone outside of their country has the same stereotype: they are doing things wrong.

Current - Change is noticeable, especially the government, who wishes to ally itself with other major world powers.

A Brief History of My Nation: The Aqruthian Confederation was descended from a vast empire known as the Kingdom Aqru-tenas. However, sometime in the 12th century, the Kingdom collapsed and its territories were divided into various city-states and sizable realms. Eventually, due to war and strategic royal marriages, the 4 nations that make up the Confederation were formed.

Initially, these nations fought amongst themselves in the attempt to restore the old empire. However, the arrival of the 'eastern peoples' sometime in the 16th centuries provoked these nations to sign a pact of mutual defense. Infighting during the pact era wasn't rare, but for every time the time the Brettonians invaded, the people of the 4 nations successfully repelled.

Eventually, western thinking latched on to the people of Altoran and spread to their neighbors. Altoriva was the first Aqruthian nation to westernize and industrialize, followed by Zaiikrav, Beshtarivo, and Tastiraii. This was known as the Reform Era, and numerous achievements, such as the Maiitval Canal which connected the Rhunic and Ostian oceans, and Sanisteru's numerous skyscrapers.

During the cold war, fear of being invaded or overpowered by its enemies invoked the 4 nations to form the Aqruthian Confederation. A single currency was put into place, borders between nations were opened, and relations flourished between them.

The Confederation's members, though culturally the same, are politically different; hence the division of the Aqruthians in the earlier times. However, the Aqruthian nations compete with one another to maintain a stronger economy, military, and technological achievement; theoretically for the sake of prestige and the ability to dictate the High Parliament's actions (an action no nation has succeeded in doing so). The Aqruthian Confederation is therefore, economically and technologically competent and possesses a strong military prowess able to challenge foreign powers, built upon internal competition which strives to best those inside and outside the Confederation.
