Growling even more, if that was possible, the Klingon glared the British men though his eyes were narrowing by the second. "The one right in front of you petaQ!"

His glare turned into a menacing grin toward the dinosaur, "Were you a few centimeters taller, I would part your head off your torso for your insolence, bah forget it! There is more at stake or so the lizard speaks of," Making a grumbling sound he looked at the dinosaur and the monstrosity he was building. "How exactly would this transporter protect us from an imploding, or exploding universe? Would it not be feasible to make an inter-dimensional transporter instead of trying to outrun something that is universally impossible?"

The klingon blinked, not quite sure where the question had come from but stood his ground for an answer to his query.

"Right Torii, we can't let them reach us, but work on the buss is nearly complete." NVE answered his intern as he fastened down more lengths of cables.

"This is an Interdimensional Transport Vehicle! Portals require knowing where you are going, this will at least shield us from the TRF event and make it to at least the nearest stable reality... that reminds me, life support ans T-S Stabilizers to ensure that once we exit the universe all the air isn't sucked out and are trapped for eternity." NVE answered the Klingon and grabbed what appeared to be Tesla Coils from a crate and began affixing them to the corners of the bus. "The bus is merely a platform for the technology, and it provides comfy seats to sit in during transit." He added.

"Um, there's an angry mob forming outside," Marcus withdrew from his perch near the hole in the wall. "And I don't think the pitchforks and torches look too bad, but they've hauled in a tar truck and there's another truck from the pillow factory coming down the road."

He gingerly stepped over debris and then carefully picked Giovenith up and set her down behind the bus' 'safe side'. "So, well, this is just peachy. NVE, you gotta work faster, raptor. C'mon, Bielefeld isn't that far away, is it? You guys remember this place. Where is it in the world? It looks like a bad martial arts movie out there. The characters on the signs are Chinese and Japanese mixed together, and none of them actually say anything. People are wearing stupid outfits, and I swear not a single citizen has an IQ above 50. If we know where we are - I wasn't around back then - then we'll know how to get to Bielefeld. That island nation is just off Europe. The city isn't built yet, if it's really 2012, but Vaffelhelm is there. That's the second place everyone lived, isn't it? Swith found the Building in an ad from the Underworld Times."

"Thanks, Torii."

Bran looked to Kale, and nodded, taking one of the first panels of wing from one of the box, welding it onto the side of the bus as other people worked around on it. "Goes here, and then . . ." He sighed to himself, marking reference where he welded the wingtip on in accordance to the bus. ". . . That goes right there." He grinned. Using the drill, or whatever the heck it was, was very convenient in that it sort of . . . Instantly welded the thing to whatever he wanted.

It wasn't that long before he had the entire left wing assembled, with everything but the engine installed as he walked around the bus, getting the other one attached just as quickly.

"Angry Mob, what the hell for?"

"Underworld, Waffle-town, Bielefield...", Torii mumbled over and over again. Taking a nice, comfy position on some rubble from which to fire, she stayed in cover and began assembling her rifle. "Now, I don't mean to brag", She said, checking all the bits and pieces, "but I'm a damn-fine shot with a rifle..."

She produced several large box-shaped magazines. "And I've also built up a tolerance for blood after years of being fine tuned to be a killing machine...none of which I'm particularly proud of, but it HAS prepared me for certain situations in which those talents were needed!"

She fit an accessory for the barrel on, and flipped down the bipod.

"And I'm more comfortable with this weapon than any other. It's a service rifle from my hone country, the Vintikov Series Designated Marksman Rifle, a beautiful machine..."

She loaded the mag.

"Seven-by-six-two-milimeter, standard Soviet....

She laid the rifle down, ready to fire. "It's a helluva weapon, if I do say so. And now I get to test my aim after this long....am I still good? Lemme see...."

She cocked back the bolt and readied it for fire. "I'mma aim for that tar truck's tire first, front end, driver's side. Hey, Gio, cover your ears!", She yelled. "Hey, you damn civilians, get a load of this shit!", She yelled at the crowd.

She fired the first round, a warning shot that would, hopefully, also disable the truck by blowing a tire.

"Well yes, but Bielefeld has always been hard to pin down because it's relative location moves.... but it is an interdimensional nexus point. Sucking up people from all over the place... Yes! I've been looking for directions, coordinates, couldn't see the forest through the trees. Since it is relatively close, all we need to do is drift a bit once we leave, from that the navigation computers can pinpoint the nexus and enter it." NVE said in a fit of inspiration. "Oh yes! We are looking for a cosmic whirlpool close-by and all we need to do to find it is stop the engines and let it pull us in!" he elaborated in layman terms. and searched the crates for the right sensors.

"Bran! Are we almost air worthy? And remember to get the engines running off the electrics, we don't have enough diesel for it." NVE shouted to the Conscript.

Mon stood herself up and groaned. Really, the events conspiring in her mind were taking their toll on her attention span. "Wait, what's going on...?" She looked around. "Fuck...what do I do?"

The Carlisle wrote:Kale let go of Bran and nodded. She got up from the floor and crossed her arm. Her eyes flashed green and out of her hair appeared a green growth. The growth grew out, then slumped over and landed on the floor, continuing to grow. It then took shape, forming a rough humanoid shape. After shaping, the humanoid plant detached from Kale's hair.

Kale looked to her new creation and gave it a big hug. "You're so awesome! I think I'll name you Paul!" she exclaimed. Paul returned to hug with an awkward embrace.

Kale let go of Paul and looked to the plane parts. "Okay Paul. I need you to help Mr. Nikanor and I with carrying these plane parts. You think you can do that? No, I know you can do it!" she exclaimed, giving Paul a pep-talk. Paul gave her a perplexed look, but nodded nonetheless. He went over and started lifting several plane part from where they were and then walked over to where Bran stood. Kale went over and picked up one of the smaller parts, though It looked like she was having a hard time carrying it! Kale gave Bran an embarrassed grin, her face a slight shade of red.

Miracle is not a word which exists in Fvaarniimarn, at least not during Rmwtyliin's native syeemnaan. The closest description of the concept at that time was "great act of the spirits"; even that typically referred to more minor things than what she'd just witnessed.

The frankly rather normal save for status girl had no idea why on earth she'd been selected for this. Some cultures of which she'd been told condemned other cultures - her own amongst them - for worshipping different spirits. Perhaps this was a test? It didn't really fit with what she understood of those spirits which were benevolent, and yet none of it seemed evil... Maybe there were other spirits like those she'd heard of these cultures worshipping, and they wanted to teach her about them? Well, there was an easy way to tell. The Fvaarniimarn shut her eyes.

Both her culture's spirits, and those of others, were believed to perceive thoughts directed towards them. Kale! Bran! Torii! If you are actually spirits, I beg of you, forbid my presumptuousness, but please, allow me confirmation of that knowledge and PLEASE help me to understand why I am here! Why me?If "Kale" - and "Bran" and "Torii", as she was seeing the episode with the seemingly trapped sun in a new light - were indeed spirits, then presumably they would hear her. For that matter, that would solve the communication problems!

Of course, it wouldn't be that easy. Torii and Bran wouldn't stand a chance of picking up on that, unless they'd suddenly developed paranormal abilities; Kale theoretically might be able to create a plant with abilities of the sort, but even if she'd done that at exactly the right moment, how would the plant have known to focus on Rmwtyliin?

Anyway, another thing had happened; Torii had obtained something strange and was brandishing it as though it were a weapon. The Fvaarniimarn girl flinched internally; her people avoided violence if at all possible. However, regardless of whether Torii turned out to be a spirit - although of course such an event would likely result in Rmwtyliin's assuming her judgement to be infallible - she certainly seemed to have a good understanding of the situation. Rmwtyliin hence grabbed a small length of hollow metal off the floor; she was proficient with a staff. Then, of course, Torii fired, and Rmwtyliin wondered why she had not received an answer from her, for such a terror could not be of human origin.

Eyes widening, Giovenith had been about to raise protest about Torii hurting them people of the city with her gun (even if they were trying to hurt them, they were still innocent people who she supposed were mad for a reason), but backed down in shock at the sailing brick that had drawn blood from Marcus' head. Deciding that it was indeed better that the mob get a few scars than them getting torn apart, she swallowed her protests and instead focused her mental energies on hoping for a good outcome to the dinosaur scientist's efforts.

"Oh dear," she sniffed. Her memory was in a time where she hadn't grown used to the dangers of being an apartment dweller, thus explaining her meeker than usual reactions to the chaos around them. Still, Giovenith was far from breaking down, and felt a strange and familiar trust in the people around her. "I know you can do it, Mr. Bran, Dr. Eldritch!" she encouraged, patting Torii on the back as well in acknowledgement, and giving a concerned but understanding look to the Middle English-speaking girl. She pulled a roll of bandages from her pockets, and reached over to the bleeding cyborg boy. "You're hurt!" It may not have been the exact best moment for first aid, but Giovenith couldn't let him bleed either.

A boiling anger began to welt up in Torii as Marcus was hit. She wasn't about to let anyone get away with hurting her friends, especially Marcus, and if they laid a finger on Giovenith...

"Fuck no!", Torii growled. "They're paying for that!"

She fired several more round towards the crowd. Whether they were warning or not wasn't very clear.

"I'm alright, Mr. Nikanor," Marcus' voice was a bit shaky; the boy's ego had taken more of a beating. He winced as Torii's weapon discharged, and then he nodded to Giovenith when she moved to help him. He was feeling nothing but confusion. Things weren't like this back in Bielefeld.

The townspeople had endured BranRiech machinery, Tsuian space ships, Dabfian hell and Raptor insanity, not to mention a host of other things like missing delivery men and cab drivers. They screamed in rage as the bullets whizzed by (some of them striking shoulders or arms). Something flashed and veered towards the building. A man shouted in glee, the AT-4 launcher still smoking on his shoulder.. The bunker-buster struck the building's side and caused the entire structure to shake. Ceiling tiles rained down on the people in the lobby.

Using the spanner, or whatever the hell it was, to install one of the engines on one of the wings, Bran cowered under the wing quickly as the rocket hit the side of the building, shaking it's foundation to the core, dropping dust and tiles on them all. "Christ, who the hell got a fucking rocket launcher!? Where are the cops?" Bran swore, punctuating it with various Russian swears and such, where only Torii and Mon would probably get what he was saying.

As far as the girl was concerned, they were now fighting not against a mob, but a hostile force. With a missile launcher being fired at then, Torii decided that just nonlethal shots weren't effective enough.

Still alone in her endeavor, and wishing for help shooting, Torii swallowed and took aim for anyone who appeared to be holding a gun or launcher of any kind, and opened fire again. She hoped that she didn't kill anyone, but if she did....

"nah, don't worry.", She said to herself. These were enemies. Just like every other enemy, they were out to kill her and her friends...

Mezran didn't blink as the pieces of tiny debris rained on him and dust filled his nostrils, instead all it did was stoke the flames inside that had been burning since his 'waking moment'.

"So they want a battle do they; they shall have it!" He regarded Reginald for a second, "Like the lizard suggest, we shall keep the pests at bay, come!"

He didn't wait, instead he raised he mek'leth and drew out his disruptor and ran for the exit while the floor shook under his boots from the aftershocks of the impact moments ago.

Bursting out the door he barred his teeth and took aim upon the first unsightly looking pig skin and fired a bolt straight through the man's chest cavity and into another's shoulder. "Lay on, you tehQeq'pu! You will have the privilege of riding on the Barge to Gre'thor!" With that the Klingon roared into battle, past the building occupants who were already outside holding the line.

"I delayed the cops!" NVE answered Bran as he dusted debris off the vulnerable sensor array. NVE tossed a small box of parts into the bus and a tool box. "As soon as it can fly you start driving Bran, I can finish the calibration as we go. Anyone not fighting or engineering might want to get aboard, if you cant fit inside, try the magic portal." he shouted as he finished up under the hood.

Pulling Marcus down on a seat, Giovenith did her best to block out the terror around her. The people in the city were trying to hurt them, yes, but she didn't want them to be hurt or killed either. They were people too, who were just scared for their town's safety. The violence, the gunfire, the Russian swearing, a big part of her hoped that this would all turn out to be some kind of horrible dream.

"You're going to be okay," she turned to her most familiar route: comfort. Tentatively, so as not to seem insulting, the godling carefully pulled down Marcus' hood and began to unravel the bandages in her hand. She ignored the tech, save to be careful around it as she dabbed the excess blood away with a handkerchief, gently wiping it away from his eyes and any little crevices or ports in his head plates. "Just please relax, let go of what's happening for now, and let me handle everything. I'm right here, and I'm not going to let you get hurt anymore. Any of you." Her hands applied the bandages as quickly as she could manage, figuring she wouldn't be as steady when the bus took off. "That's what friends who love each other do."

Hearing NVE, she prayed that everyone could make it to safety.

Venyx realized he had somehow drifted off for a stretch of time thinking about his husband, consumed by the sigils for just long enough to miss a commotion behind him. He was rattled by gunfire then and shaken from his trance, brought back to reality - or, at least, what was reality to him at that very moment - violently and without warning. A conflict had come to life courtesy of an angry mob, and - oh, yes, this was what he had signed up for. Though this whole thing must have had something to do with that damn raptor the people were calling NVE, Venyx hardly cared. People were starting to get hurt, and the soldier inside of him wasn't having it.

"Alright," The Ophanite turned to where the abomination called transportation stood, surrounded by Velociraptor Mechanics Incorporated, all positioned on piles of rubble and debris. "I don't know what just happened, but it's about time I jump in and fight fire with fire." Spotting his cape conveniently laying in a heap across the room (so that's where that had gone),Venyx dashed to it and pulled his service weapon from the inner pocket. "...or, in this case, an angry mob with an Ion Charge Repulsor..." He fired a shot, and then another and another into the crowd, bright pulses of blueish energy darting away from the barrel of his gun. Upon hitting their intended target, the pulses became an aura of fizzing, popping electricity that echoed back from the protester's chest, and down the angry citizens went.

Of course, nobody knew that the blasts were set to be nothing more than a concentration of concussive force designed to neutralize a target without killing them, but seven shots in and he hoped the rest of the crowd would be tricked into believing he'd just felled seven men without thinking. Hopefully that would send a message to back off, and tell them that the other residents of Bielefeld weren't messing around either, though the rising hostility of the opposing side told him otherwise. Okay, time to shoot to kill.

"Aegis, maybe you'd like to hurry up with your sigils and whatever the hell else, yeah?" Venyx called, re-calibrating his weapon and taking several more shots, this time set to obliterate the enemy with superheated concussive blasts. "I think this just got bad."

Tsu heard the angry mob outside, she started to become very frightened, quickly looked around. She stared at the bus. So many fimilar faces surrounded, all faces she has only caused problems for. This was one of her chances to fix her sins that she committed so long ago. Hesitantly, she approached the bus. She was nervous, shaking, sweating and just plain scared. Tsu wanted to run away, past the crowd or give herself up to the angry civilians to buy time. She slowly gathered the courage to speak up to the raptor and company. "M-may I be of any assistance,Mr.Raptor?..", Her words came out in a meek, shy, scared and breaking voice as Tsu came closer and had her wings shield her incase of any incoming objects that might be thrown at her from those she has angered in the past.
