Vizil stopped his little rant for a moment, and turned back to face the Faerie behind him as she grabbed his arm oh-so-gently and as she gave a cute little smile. "....Yeah, I suppose you're right." He said, laughing at himself for a moment. Sometimes, well, he really just liked to argue his point. Even if it was pointless. "But you're crazy if you think I'm laying a harmful hand on you. Come on, give me your best shot. You go first." The Merfolk said, keeping a s,all distance between them and loosening his body up. "Gods, it's my eighth year here, you think I would've got used to this kind of thing by now." Vizil said with a small chuckle on his part now, looking into her eyes with the soft blue glow of his.
Alem relaxed when he admitted that he wouldn't hit her. She wasn't too scared or anything. If it was someone her size, she could do that. But he was kind of a big fish. She nodded at him, taking a quick glance at the teacher but immediately training her eyes on Vizil again. She brought her fists up like she had in so many classes she had been forced to take at the school. She took a short breath before throwing her best punch at Vizil. Her whole weight was behind it. Well, as much as she could get up to his tall face. Her first missed his nose and landed just at the edge of his cheekbone. She gasped a little as she pulled back afterwards, taking a deep breath at the dull pain that came across her hand and arm. "Haa." She said with half a laugh. "Did it hurt?" She rubbed her arm, trying to shake it off.
Vizil's head recoiled a tad bit at the punch, and a small blue mark came to be on his face. He rubbed his cheek gently, but quickly composed himself. It stung a bit, but didn't feel like he was getting slugged really hard. "Ooouuuch...." He feigned out, trying to make Alem feel like she did something. "That kinda hurt, you know." Vizil said, lying , but with good intention. He noticed her rubbing her arm, and smiled. "Looked like it hurt you more than me, though." The Mer stated happily, taking her hand and looking her arm over. It was a bit red from her putting force into the punch, but alright. "Are you alright?" He asked, squeezing the hand gently.
