Snovatgatovia's Ideas
-A far away Galaxy filled with humans and alien species (Star Wars esque)
-Dark; deals with themes of sex, violence and perhaps even a touch of existentialism mixed in with a socio-political narrative to correspond with factions.
-Galaxy is interconnected having a common currency, engaging in interplanetary commerce and features some degree of cultural diffusion.
- While there is no magic, technology is capable of most anything and should only be limited by the world builders imagination.
-Should have unique calendar/ time system that manages not to be overly-convoluted but also doesn't depend on solar rotations.
- Perhaps it could feature government institutions/ideologies similar to those that exist IRL? For example, those analogous to fascists could be called "Race Warriors" or something (not a cool name, I know, but just exists for the sake of example).
-In addition to the previously established dark themes it should also touch on other IRL issues like slavery and other reprehensible acts.
-Could be a little Game of Thrones-y with interconnected monarchies and prominent families vying for control of the galaxy.
-Could feature several religions (some of which may be analogous to IRL ones but others could be completely original). Note to self: expand on ideas of existentialism later on.
- Should obviously feature a map of the galaxy and maybe even maps of planets to really give a feel of reality.
-In addition to the proposition above I also feel as though we should make as much effort as possible to draw people, places and things based on the descriptions given by those who imagine them.

Idea # 1: Franchisybia
Map of Franchisybia
The Mooks are an odd-looking bunch of creatures. To get the image of a Mook, imagine a raptor(dinosaur). Replace the reptillian mouth with that of a beak, and make the legs bend backwards (like a birds). They have their nostrils on their backs and six fingers on their hands. Mooks also possess two long, floppy ears and whisker-like organs on the tip of their beaks, which are used to echolocate and smell. Mooks are varied in color, being yellow in northern latitudes and red and orange near the equator, and are near the size of a man.
On their home planet Franchisybia they breathe mostly Co2, and while oxygen isn't toxic it is no replacement for the lovely Carbon Dioxide. So they wear suits to protect themselves from deadly gases and microorganisms. Mook society varies across the planet, but their world is divided into four nations: The North, the South, the East and the West. The West and the South are absolute monarchies, and they have rigid and very classical societies. They believe that the ruler knows what is best for the people, and that warfare is necessary to maintain peace. The North and East are republics and unlike the monarchs they believe in the common Mooks right to a voice, and that all people should be tolerated. These clashing ideologies (coupled with dwindling resources) has led to a world-wide war between the four nations.
They are a Type 3 Civilization. The Mooks have colonized multiple star systems, including Alpha Centauri, their own Epsilon Erdani system, and Barnards Star. They have their sights set on Earth.
Idea # 2: Fictional Earth in the Galaxy
It is alternate history, and simulates a few different things:
1. What if East Asia had been a major worldwide colonial power.
2. If the region of Ethiopia had been a major African power
3. Socialism emerges in Southern Europe for the first time during the late 1900's, and the first Socialist State is founded in 2000 AD.
4. Other things, such as Southern USA been colonised by "Germans", Western USA colonised by Asia, Australia colonized by "Germans" as well, South America dominated by British Isles instead of Iberia, South America as poor as RL Africa, while Africa is much more advanced.
But notice, no nation from our world exists today. No United States, No England, No Russia, No Japan or Brazil or Germany in my Alternate World. The Point of Departure is 8000 BC. I just used those names to describe the regions, mostly because I haven't come up with names for them all yet
This version of Earth has an active space department, the IUE (the Inter-planetray Union of Earth). It will be elaborated on later.

Idea # 3: Space British
This is an idea still in development:
There is another race of humanoid in the galaxy, very much like humanity, but much more advanced. They are a Type 2 Civilization, and have conquered a good half of the Milky Way Galaxy, and are nearing complete colonization of the Oort Cloud. This race, believing themselves to be far superior to all other life forms in the Galaxy, discover Earth. This green-and-blue planet is one of the last paradise (or Type 3 Planet) in about a hundred lightyears, and one of the most hospitable ecosystems in their whole galactic arm. Now the Advanced Species has nearly depleted their home planet, so they have turned to the stars for hope. After being forced to colonize near-barren, shitty Type 1 and 2 Planets for around three centuries, Earth is like their North Star.
The Advanced Species approach Earth. After trying to negotiate a trade deal (the Earthmen give them water and access to the planet, the aliens give them weapons and new technologies), and failing to do so, the aliens begin to resort to brute force, and colonize Earth themselves. They wipe out our primitive militaries, and colonize Earth in the same way that the Europeans colonized Africa and the Americas: with greed, stigma and prejudice.
Planet types:
Type 0:
These planets are probably barren, air-less rocks too close or too far from their sun, too dense or just Gas Giants. These planets can never be fit for habitation unless Terraformed (which is a lengthy and expensive process). These planets are incapable of supporting biological life. The vast majority of planets in the Galaxy are Type 0. Examples: Mercury, Jupiter, Pluto, Saturn.
Type 1:
Type 1 planets are those that are capable of supporting the most minimal of life forms, usually primitive single-celled forms. These planets contain an atmosphere (either too dense or too thin) but not always liquid water, and sometimes may not be the right distance from its star. These planets contain hazards that pose great risks to the civilization attempting to colonize them. Some advanced galactic empires can, however, colonize these planets with relative ease, but not much can be expected from these dustballs; no great cities will form here. Examples: Mars.
Type 2:
These planets are capable of supporting life, to a degree. They almost always contain liquid water, and an abundance of living things. The climate will probably be fair enough to support moderate-sized cities, and these planets usually serve as the fodder for inter-planetary empires to colonize. But be warned: the ecosystem is probably very fragile, as a number of forces within the planet regularly wipe out species. Sometimes these planets are desert or grassland worlds, with the native species hanging on by a thread. No intelligent life forms can arise on Type 2 planets, usually because of the general harshness of these worlds. Examples: Tatooine
Type 3:
The definition of paradise in space. Type 3 planets are the dream of every space-faring species. These worlds always have an abundance of water, a damn near perfect atmosphere and preassure, plentiful natural resources and millions of native lifeforms. Finding these planets is akin to searching for a needle in a haystack; these planets are very, very rare. While they may be the prime vacation location of inter-stellar species, Type 3 planets have three main (and sometimes huge) drawbacks:
1. The geology: Type 3 planets are hotbeds of geologic activity. What with volcanoes, shifting continents and tsunamis, they could be a danger.
2. The microbes: These paradise planets support a wide range of living species. But with every species comes a virus, and if even one alien disease infects a colonizing civilization, it may be all over.
3. The Smart Ones: Since Type 3 planets are so fertile, it's only natural that intelligent species will arise. After all, how'd you get here? Be very wary when approaching Type 3 worlds, as the natives are not always friendly. All inter-stellar civilizations are based in Type 3 planets.

History: the USSA (1962-present) was Created after Revolts by the US and the USSR fell like normal, then in the year 2003 the USSA declared war on Russia, Canada, and Mexico the USSA annexed most of Canada and Mexico. Much later WWIII was started against the USSA and Vassals by the Rest of the world, by 2032 the rest of Earth was taken by the USSA. Then on July 27, 2044 America Colonized Mars and the Moon. Then, a few years later America discovered the Improbable Fission Engine, a Fission Reactor that has any Light Element source. Finally the USSA goes across the Galaxy to colonize all planets they come across.

Small history of nation: The Intergalactic Empire of Stormwrath was founded in 1440, after the Stormwrathians won independence from the Elumbish Islands. It was once called "The Sick Man of Zero" due to a very devastating economic downturn, but after a Treaty of Amity was signed with Altaro in 1472, the country began to bounce back, putting the nation for the first time on the world stage. Because of its close trade relationship with Altaro, it became a hub for the spread of technology throughout the rest of the Tervalian continent and eventually for the human world; a role it would hold for the next 500 to 600 years.
In 1620, Stormwrath annexed Palmaria, effectively doubling its size, and received New Tracillia from Texurica after the Stormwrathian-Texurican War. The nation spearheaded major calls for cooperation and unity within Tervalia; being a founding member-nation of the Tervalian Coalition (now the Tervalian Union) and the Great Zeronian Ocean Treaty Organization. Despite its loss to Altaro during the Great Zeronian War and its subsequent victory in the War of Liberation, Stormwrath's relationship with the anthran nations have rebuilt.
In the second half of the 18th century and for most of the 19th century, the development of space programs has allowed Stormwrath to take the lead in the space colonization race. Since the settlement and colonization of Viena Veida, Stormwrath's influence and power in the Tanabiku Galaxy gradually increased. Stormwrath has also experienced a civil war on their home planet, resulting in the deaths of more than 678,000 people. After that, the country has held together through the test of time, despite the secession of Perpinia from the mainland. With the invention of the Infinite Improbablility Drive, its intergalactic empire reached its current size today.

Adia, the world from a wordless book
-Inspired by various Geofictional projects like Eshraval and Gotha, works by Tommy Ho and Phobs, Lord of the Rings, a trip to an art gallery, the lack of context by various things
-An urban fantasy alternate earth setting, originally a semi-steampunk/decopunk world called "Boria"
-Non-magic tech setting is basically postmodern (no, we don't have hoverboards), say, computer and telecommunications technology is on par with RW, health is on par with 1990's.

- About a world that only exists in grayscale (black and white)
- Negative viewpoints of the world, along with negative emotions, are prevalent among society
- Color is the most desirable resource, being fought over by various factions
- Color is extracted from people with positive emotions
- Extraction involves draining the person's happy thoughts and leaving the subject negative and nearly lifeless
- At the same time, there is a strange black substance that consumes parts of the world, removing what is left of their color
