As soon as the men began singing Iqaluit , Owen realised they were vastly under supplied. Greenland May have fish but they couldn't survive on this alone. He needed to trade with the other states. He ignored the other states for the most part and focused on the north, but he did see some prospects for the future. He began writing to Wisconsin.

Ic:The Wisconsin forces were so focused on destroying the DS forces(remainer 7890)that they didn't see an obvious surprise attack on the rear with 278,000 reinforcements.They dealt out MAJOR losses,but also lost about 15,000-31,000.

ReichsFuhrer: It's a good thing we were able to get a foothold against them before it was too late, most of them got away but we at the least got around 10,000 soldiers down, with our losses at 1,000 so we should be good on men, I expect them to come back for a counter attack, so I will have the Fuhrer send more soldiers around the border of Wisconsin just in case, what's that? the forces chasing after the fleeing army are back? Okay, so... we just need to wait for them to either retreat to Oregon, or chase after them and risk another assault? Hm... We have around 400,000 soldiers, and they have around 260,000 soldiers, so we could win, but ultimately I think we should be able to defend here for a while and wait for more defenses to be set up around the area, now go! We have to get the borders secured, and remember, if you see anyone coming press the emergency button on your radios, it will send us your location in time for us to find you.

Built similar to a small town, but fenced in and guarded 24/7 by soldiers, the Prime Minister had stated the reasons behind the actions, and ensuring that they will "not be mistreated, abused, or beaten in any way - unfortunately, this is an extra precaution in national security and the war effort"
Protests across New York have died down following the Prime Minister's speech. However, the public is still outraged by Sanchez's death and demands an immediate response. The investigation has turned up several results. A leader of the New Yorker Quick Response Unit (NYQRU), or riot police, has currently been placed under house arrest following suspicions of him possibly ordering the riot police units to fire on the crowd following the mass looting that occurred in sections of major cities. He claims that he had warned the unruly mobs to stop, and was forced to after several teenagers attacked one of his men. However, other witnesses say that the riot police had opened fire without warning on the crowd.
A new education system has been announced and is most likely to be introduced to all public schools next year; it includes a completely new curriculum for all grade levels, higher wages for teachers and other school staff, smaller classrooms, the construction of dozens of new schools, extensive programs in order to produce good, effective teachers, and so on and so forth. However, it has been criticized by opponents for being too "inefficient" and "confusing"

DS forces know they are outnumbered,so they withdraw to the mountains.Overeager Wisconsin troops are met with endless rockslides and ambushes,until one rockslide accidentally blocks the path back to Wisconsin of 139,000 enemy troops,including the leader.The 176,000 remaining DS troops stage a successful pincer movement and trap the enemy.Best part?It would take DAYS to remove the rubble back to friendly tertitory for Wisconsin troops,AND they had no food that could help them survive that amount of time.DS forces prepare to eliminate the enemy in the mountain pass.

VICTORIA ISLAND HAS FALLEN

Earlier today resistance surrendered on Victoria Island. The resistance leader François Berkilam accepted the terms of peace. As of today Nunavut is part of the glorious kingdom of Greenland. Military parades are being held in Nuuk and other major cities as our brave men return home. Glory to Greenland!

Owen grinned as he read the headlines. He was one step closer in his plan. Matthieu presented a map with Nunavut in colour of Greenland. The young king pointed to Newfoundland and Labrador.
"They're next. Train any willing in Nunavut then notify me of any plan for invasion."

New Yorker and Michigan troops have withdrawn to strategic positions several dozen miles away from Midland in Michigan; although they have set up a determined resistance, some New Yorker generals have already written off the situation as hopeless. A further investigation into the riot police following the death of Sanchez shows little results ; however, several men today were arrested on suspicions of corruption within the riot police.
New York has also begun pressuring Vermont in voluntarily joining New York; already exercising considerable control and influence over their government, it still seems unlikely that they will join; however, the Parliament has proposed that a referendum be held in Vermont's counties in order to determine who gets what. This proposal has been rejected by the Vermont government, much to many New Yorker patriots disappointment.
