It had been a rather peaceful week in Camp Liberty; it was the largest New Yorker base there, housing some 3,500 soldiers. It had been bustling with activity, however, as they moved men up to the front, in anticipation of a massive allied counteroffensive to push back Wisconsin's gains. Men could be heard performing their routine, daily exercises, eating, running - the same as always. Overhead, several aircraft flew in formation, obviously heading towards the front. Always the front. The Front. It is a funny word, if you ask the soldiers there. Nervous but eager nonetheless, most of the people in the camp were fresh recruits, who had been duped by the recruitment leaflets into joining the military - they had never seen action before.

Some of the men at the camp were scheduled to the Front in just a few days. Although they were eager and patriotic, when faced with the realities of today's modern warfare and the rapidly shifting fronts of the war, would they break?, questioned many officers and generals, or would they follow their training, and fight?

The Prime Minister begins to advocate for "better conditions and wages" for poor workers in the factories in the Parliament. In a massive effort undertaken by the Prime Minister to improve conditions for factory workers, he applauds their efforts in helping the nation as a whole and wants to reward them for exactly that. However, due to a strong opposition in Parliament opposing this, it is unlikely that conditions will improve for them anytime soon.

Government has also begun programs that reward farmers for growing an abundance of crops; a small cash reward of about 20-100 USD as well as nationwide efforts to applaud the farmers and their efforts in feeding the population and military. New York has also opened up the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building up for tourism. As the result of the conclusion of the meeting, a large, fresh shipment of US-manufactured army weapons will arrive in Virginia soon. It will be escorted by several destroyers from the New Yorker navy. Further shipments of ammunition, equipment, vehicles, and weapons are also expected. 20 war advisors and dozens of senior officers and even a general will arrive to Virginia in accordance with the agreement, only on the request that 35 body guards be sent, all only armed with a taser (stun gun), due to security concerns

The recent murder of a wealthy Nazi supporter has brought attention to the government - a recent investigation confirms that the previous murders had been conducted by several people - John Murkwood, Conner Herrol, Dan Athor, and Peter Williams - Murkwood, Herrol, and Williams have already been arrested and are currently in prison, awaiting their trial. However, Athor is currently wanted by New York authorities; he is currently suspected of fleeing to the countryside, to escape imprisonment.

In other news, the Prime Minister has continued to advocate for better conditions for factory workers; in a fierce debate between Parliament opposition and the Prime Minister and his supporters [in Parliament], the Parliament's decisions were indecisive. This results in what could be called a stalemate, with neither side giving up. Midday in Havana and the temperature was a in the upwards of 70 degrees, apart from a few clouds, it was a lavish day for the capital of Cuba. It was on of the days that was just made for relaxing and gazing upon the natural beauty of Cuba. Today, however, was not a day of relaxation for one Raul Castro, brother of famed 'dictator' (as the wast painted him) Fidel Castro. He had assumed the transition into power after his brother's resignation in 2008, and now, he was ready to make a splash after what had been a mainly silent presidency.

Raul sat at a round table that seated two other men along with himself. The other two guests at the table were of Russian and Chinese delegation and were none other than Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin themselves. After the dissolution of the United States, the Republic of Cuba had outsourced to the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation for support in such turbulent times. Though China and Russia weren't interested in any such assistance, they decided to send political advisers to assist in directing Cuban actions in the time of crisis. The results of which ended in a partial buildup of the Cuban military.

The three men had already been discussing for what was in reality and hour, but seemed as if it had been an eternity. Going back and forth on a singular issue was weighing the men's resilience to fight away Raul's imperative 'negotiations' for much longer. Castro had a plan. A plan not conceivable since the sixties, maybe the eighties. An invasion of the United States.

"If China and Russia were to supply the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces and provide financial assistance to the Cuban military, then we could easily split the United States, or the former should I say, between the three of us and efficiently set up a satellite state. Say, an American Federation or a People's Republic of America. Of course, there are several satisfactory states that could prove to be great allies such as the Social Republic of North Dakota, the Second Texas Republic, and so on and so forth. These aren't targets. However, if we can induce fear in them of our power then who's to say they won't come begging us not to attack them. " Raul told his peers.

"Stop avoiding what you need to say. What exactly do you want from me and Putin, comrade?" Xi Jinping asked.

" I want a significant military deal to provide my military with the capabilities to project power across the Caribbean into Florida so that I may launch a full scale invasion of the former United States, and establish a centralized socialist state to provide as a satellite for Russia, China, Cuba, and even North Korea. I also want a political organization established between our great nations to show the rest of the world that though North America has fallen apart, the rest of the world can rise up and shine brighter than ever before." Raul elaborated on his needs.

The three delegated a little more, until finally, they had reached an agreement. At 1:00pm, it was announced that the Republic of Cuba, the Russian Federation, and the People's Republic of China had came together in negotiations and had delegated their way through discussions to form the Transcontinental Group for Cooperation, a NATO-esque group that ensured that if either party were to be attacked then the two corresponding parties would be attacked as well.

Behind the scenes, it was agreed upon between the three parties that the Russian Federation and the People's Republic would ship weapons, ammunition, and military vehicles to the Republic of Cuba for a cheap price, while also selling aircraft and naval equipment to them for a ridiculously marked up price. Raul, though distraught of the pricing, was satisfied. To deter any suspicions from outlying states he would announce the passage of the "Military Reorganization Act" tomorrow morning.

Raul went towards a podium in front of the National Assembly, today he would be entering his Military Reorganization Act to cover up the recent agreements between China and Russia, he took a deep breath and began to speak in a respective tone to the representatives of the Cuban people.

"My fellow politicians, a great injustice has befallen the Republic of Cuba. It has come to my attention that the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces have become greatly disjointed." Raul paused dramatically, letting the sheer played off disappointed set in with the crowd. "The CRAF has become greatly insufficient and far too incompetent as a military force to represent the Cuban state in times of war. Are we just going to allow for this..mockery of the Cuban warrior spirit represent us on the battlefield? I surely hope not! We are strong people! A proud people! And we have been since my brother's leading of the Great Revolution against the twisted dictatorship who committed the greatest of treason to the Cuban people by aligning itself with the fascist West!" Raul spoke with a deep passion.

"That is why today, I would like for the National Assembly to take a vote on my Military Reorganization Act that would readjust the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces into a capable and efficient fighting force that is competent of taking on the liberties of defending the Cuban way of life! Apart of the bill would be the renaming of the CRAF, to the Cuban People's Army so that we may forget the injustice that has plagued us and move on to the new force that is here to defend in the name of the people! We will revamp the ground force of the military, supplying them with a better vehicles, better weaponry, and better ammunition for all those who join! We will overhaul the Air Force with by building new aircraft that will rival that of any other possible force in the world! We will remodel the Navy into a force that is capable of projecting Cuban authority of seas across the world! We will introduce the Cuban Marines to implement Cuban power projection by ground, we will take the world by the helm and not let go until we are the sole superpower that overshadows that of the United States!" Raul finished to a standing ovation by the mass of politicians.

A matter of minutes later, a vote was taken on the measure. The bill passed unanimously, 597-0. Setting up for the largest military buildup in the region since the days of the Cold War.

Recent large scale demonstrations conducted by one of the two currently largest anti-war groups in New York, with an estimated 25,000 members, have resulted in the injury of dozens of protesters; riot police were dispatched and arrived in major cities, as the protesters were obstructing traffic - specifically instructed to only use nonlethal weapons such as tear gas and rubber bullets, they were supposedly attacked by protesters with glass bottles. Firing rubber bullets in order to disperse the crowd, around 30 received minor injures. 5 are in critical condition, with 4 of those 5 receiving cracked rib cages and other injuries. 1 received a concussion that is likely to result in permanent brain damage. 20 others received moderate injuries and are awaiting treatment in the hospital. Currently, a government spokesman has said that there will be an "investigation"

As the men encircle the capital, ships along the coast begin transporting the new supplies. The food from Virginia was much needed and the weapons from New York were excellent quality. The war would be over in a few days, unless the Nunavut government decide to starve.

As the supplies are dropped off, 7 CAC/PAC JF-17 Thunders took off one of the carriers. After two strafe runs on resistance, they flew back. Thankfully civilian casualties were minimal.

Further information on the casualties of the protests says that a middle aged man, Jason Sanchez, a son of Mexican immigrants, who was severely injured by rubber bullets, died this morning. This has sparked some public outrage, particularly from the anti-war community in the country. Another statement given by a government spokesman says "we send our condolences to Sanchez's family and friends and will do our best to launch an investigation in order to find the source behind this unjustified and unlawful act of police brutality"

The government has also launched experts to study the source of high crime rates, particularly amongst the youth. Military soldiers and law enforcement officers have been called in in order to help contain unrest in major cities after the death of soldiers. Recently, 5 men were hospitalized after reporting coughing, sneezing, high fevers, and vomiting. After experiencing seizures, they arrived at the hospital where they are currently receiving treatment. Medical experts and government officials both fear the possibility of an epidemic, particularly in crowded urban areas and cities.

The Nunavut Invasion

After a foolish and desperate move by the resistance in Iquluit, the city was taken by Greenlandic troops. With a minor loss of 23 men, 71 rebels were taken prisoner. Elsewhere on Devon Island, the resistance either surrendered or starved to death in the major cities. Similar things happened on Melville and Bathurst. An successful assault on Cornwallis meant that only Victoria Island was in resistance.

There are more reports of police violence and brutality - the Prime Minister has also made a speech regarding the recent violence in the nation- "Although we are deeply saddened by the passing of an innocent civilian who was killed as the result of police brutality, we strongly urge that these protesters and rioters stop. This will only culminate into more violence - we are doing our best to launch the perpetrators in Sanchez's death. However, to the majority of anti-war protesters, I ask of you - we must unite together in order to defeat this evil menace.
