That's ridicolous. The only way the CSA could even be possible is to make each state semi-independent, otherwise the whole thing falls apart. The American south is literally the least likely place in the world for an authoritarian state.

Axis? Why are we even using that name? I feel like out of all the impossibilities, and Alabama aside, no state would like to classify itself even close to Nazi Germany. (I know that isn't all the Axis was, but I mean it deserves to be stated.
