Merek was born into a household of the order. As the Lord’s first and only son he grew up learning the ways of a warrior and a leader. As he grew older he began to learn the lore of his household from his parents and his tutor. He also learned about the spreading of the corruption and how it affects the land around it. As time passed he grew into a young man fourteen years of age. However one day in the middle of his fourteenth year the corruption reached his families lands. As the corruption spread towards his home his father tried anything in his power to find a way to survive. Until one day when he was out with his tutor and they discovered on the edge of the corruption a plant which seemed to be halfway between corrupted and uncorrupted. They quickly bagged it and brought it back home. As what would soon be final year of Merek’s time with his family went by in a flash. As the corruption closed around the exterior of the light walls of his home and beasts of the corruption began their transformations on the outside. Even though all the peasants were evacuated safely the Lord of Blackwater and the guards who wished to stay remained. That is until the attack of the Corruption spawn. Merek remembers it well for it was the last time he saw his mother, father, and sisters alive ever again. The day the attack began it was sunny and everything seemed well. Then the watchman spotted off in the distance a large group of corruption spawn that seemed to be headed towards the stockade. As the day went by everyone prepared for battle. Only Merek was not with them. As soon as his father heard he put Merek inside the great hall and told him to wait for his signal to come outside. As Merek waited he heard the clashes of distant battle and the screams and cries of the wounded men which would end as soon as they hit the ground. Merek could not bear it so he walked outside, and he saw something no son should ever see. He saw his father surrounded by a group of Spawn, and he cried out. His father turned around and the Spawn struck. His father began to fall and Merek in a fit of rage ran forward unsheathing the only weapon of light his family had, a dagger. However as he charged forward the Spawn retreated or flanked around him and ran into the Great Hall. Merek turned around and briefly glimpsed his mother trying to fight off a spawn with a halberd that she could barely lift. Scream fell upon death ears as he held his father’s head in his hands as his father breathed his last breath. As soon as his father died Merek looked around and realized that the Spawn had moved off around to attack other women and children within the castle. He took his chance and fled, and to this day is haunted by his past actions. Over the years after he fled he trained to become a better fighter for the day when he could take his vengeance. Through this time he met Ademar and they over the years became the best of friends. Merek assists Ademar with his scientific experiments and has now considered himself as an intellectual adventurer. He is very dangerous with a trident, his dagger which he can throw. He is also proficient with ranged weaponry and plans to one day travel to the heart of the corruption, and end it by killing the lord of the corruption himself.
Occupation: intellectual adventurer
Religion: While his parents were religious, their religion was The Order. However they supported him in his choosing of whatever religion he wanted to be. Is Atheist
Equipment: Light throwing knife, basic adventurer gear(coil of rope, backpack, books on fauna, his journal, cooking gear) Cloth armor, his family savings which he has entrusted in a multidimensional banking system created by magic. Also magical binoculars which can zoom in like range finders.

Ah so I wanted my person to be the heir to a fallen kingdom. With this in mind that way I could give an idea for a need for vengeance. Also everything is in spoilers because there are a lot of pictures.

It's not the spoilers that's the problem. It's that the template for the app isn't one of the ones I had. You could use the King/Queen app for your character. It should work fine, just leave out the kingdom related parts.

Name: Franc Enishus
Age: 60+
Appearance: http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2014/ ... 7i6d5e.jpg
Gender: Male
Bio: Franc Enishus is one of the high-ranking Mage Priests of the Priests of Light, and is considered to be one of the most powerful mages in Astianna. He was a student, and a teacher for a short while, in the Cathedral, and later joined the Priests of Light. He is known between mages as the sole user of the powerful Judas Pain spell, and for his magical prowess, and has been fighting the Corruption for many decades, proving his fellow Mage Priests and his enemy many times that he is a force to be retconed with.
Franc is a calm and caring person, but he is also rather silent and quiet. Not much is known about his past in detail, as he does not share his memories, or rather nobody asks him too often about it. Still, he is a good and positive person.
Occupation: High-ranking Mage Priest of Light
Faction: Priests of Light
Religion: Teachings of Aethalia
Magic:
Elemental Categories: Light, Fire, Energy and Darkness
Light Powers
Notable Spells:
Judas Pain: Franc's most potent spell. It gives the victim incredible physical and mental pain. One Priest of Light described this spell:
"Imagine if suddenly all your family members were killed, you lost the main test at a Magic School, your best friend joins the Corruption and you are tortured and burned by 20 professional torturers all at the same time. That a quarter of the feeling you get from Judas Pain."

Judas Pain is not lethal, but it can easily torture or demobilize an enemy.
Dispel Bound: A defensive spell. It is used to block or deflect any kind of spell.
Makankosappo: An offensive light beam. Can hit multiple targets, but only works on living beings.
Light Barrier: A temporary force field that Franc can put on the area around him, and only things he allows to can pass through.

And many others.
I have a severe case of addiction to writing. At least 3k words every day is my fix.

The Judas Pain spell isn't the type of spell that the Priests of Light would ever allow anyone to use. It's a 'dark' spell as far as they're concerned.

Also, you have to say all your spells, so I can know if your character is too powerful or not.

As for the 'block or deflect any kind of spell', it's fine as long as it's not guaranteed to work.

Maybe.

Your choice. That or what I said. It weakens him, or it only sometimes work, and I imagine the more powerful the mage, the less it would work.

I'd imagine that the more powerful the spell cast at the shield the greater the damage dealt in one of three ways:

1) Weakening the shield more.
2) Being less likely to be blocked by the shield.
3) Having more of the damage get through the shield.

Or any combination of the above, possibly depending on the spell and how the shield is configured (for example, if the spell caused instant death, you'd probably configure the shield to certainly block it at the cost of the shield weakening a lot, but if it was a fire spell or something, you might have the shield let some heat through, but not enough to kill you).

If someone had a spell to cause instant death, they would get in trouble for being totally overpowered :P But I get your point. If Finland agrees, I think that would work well.

So is the IC going to go up soon and Finland in response I was trying to mesh the two together as in he was a fallen kingdom.
I can change it if it's really going to bother you. It's just sort of the idea that if he leads an army they have a banner and a name to rally behind.

I would rather you change it. It seems to be missing some of the parts of the App, and it's confusing me slightly. (Yes, I'm easily confused)

Ok App is changed, Just moved some stuff around and made it so it's just the ruler app for the king/QueenI, or at least the top half. Can I keep the other as it's just to supply pictures so you know what my stuff looks like? It's basically equipment but I don't want many J-Pegs up there as it just looks so messy.

You're missing parts of your app, such as the
Equipment:
Magic:
Religion:

parts. You have equipment, sort of, but not the others.

I'm pretty sure I put the equipment, Religon and magic. I guess i just need to put Enters in-between them. I'll get right to that after I get the feeling back into my fingers.

*edit* Fixed issues. I put a spoiler a bit farther than I thought.

Magic: None

Other: ,

Accepted. Just a couple of notes. With the flower, if he didn't take steps to preserve the non-corrupted side of the flower, such as getting it enchanted or watering that half with UV infused water, the Corruption would take it over, whether it was located in the Corrupted lands or not, and it could spread from the flower to other places.

Also, he clearly doesn't know how the Corruption works :P Killing the Lord of Corruption wouldn't really change anything, since the body is just a host, but he doesn't have to know that :P

I can change it if it's really going to bother you. It's just sort of the idea that if he leads an army they have a banner and a name to rally behind.

?
I don't understand? Mesh what?
I have a severe case of addiction to writing. At least 3k words every day is my fix.

Finland understands which is all that matters. It's basically to mesh a fact from earlier which I forget...

Also Finland I was thinking about sort of him thinking that he was trying to redeem himself. After leaving his family to die. Without knowing if they were alive or dead.

Name: Mister Anderson.
Title(s): Lord of the House Dork, That crazy dude (that one time in a bar).
House name: The house of Dork.

Image

Appearance: Medium height. brown haired. Missing the left eyebrow.

Age: 27
Gender: Male

Bio: Despite what his house is called, Mister Anderson is quite bright. Since a young age he has been fascinated with mages. He isn't one however. His parents had a lot of money, so he was able to go into science and start to reproduce some effects. He Left his home in Chilikath at age 24 to explore the world and gain scientific knowledge that could help him reproduce more effects. On the road, he learned of the Priests of light. After learning that there were mages there, he had to go. On the last stretch of road, he met Ademar Terrowin and Merek.

Equipment: Flamethrower, Water pistol, Tazer, playing cards, coins, small but powerful arm slingshots (mounted kind of like hidden blades), Standard travel gear (Food, water, knife, and more). A bit of money (stored safely)...(very safely). I'm negotiable about the equipment.

Magic: only illusions (hence the cards/coins) no actual magic.
Religion: SCIENCE!!!!!!!!!
