Well, you DID have to fight off the Corruption.....So obviously it's somewhat close.

You could say that they enlisted the help of the Church of Light to keep the Corruption at bay for longer.

I like that idea, thanks. And the Church of Light can be their religion. Also since I wrote it in my backstory, Arrendal is somewhat close to the Corruption since it's the only way that'll make sense.

They kept it from their kingdom for the time being but at a terrible price, the crown prince was slain by a Corrupted mage so they could not even bring his body back to be buried. With her brother's death, Nasuada was named heir and so started her ruler's training at thirteen and then ascended the throne at twenty following the death of her father. While still a teen, Nasuada was discovered to be a mage and her father made her attend magic school to control her emotions, only being able to return with her father's passing. Not many even know that their queen has magic and she has gained superb control over her emotions.
Equiptment: a wizard's wand, potions. food and water, horses, and spell scrolls.
Magic: Nasuada is an Ice Mage, meaning she has the power to control and create ice and snow as well as having the ability to lower the temperature of and freeze things, even people.

A light room wouldn't really help against the Corruption. It can possess any mage, anywhere. I mean, it might make it harder for the corruption, but not stop it.


Perhaps I should have Taint visit kingdoms just to freak them out He wouldn't be as powerful outside the Corruption, nor would he be able to spread any from his form, so it would just be for 'fun'.

Looks good, and I kinda feel like a good apocalypse RP right now, but it reminds me of the writing tip "Is this the most interesting part of your character's life and if not, why aren't you writing about that?" I prefer RPs caught in the midst of the apocalypse, not picking up the pieces 50 years later.

I kinda want to be a pilot in the post-apocalypse, though. Kinda acting as a messenger/courier, so I might apply. If you'll let my guy have a plane, that is.

Um. The only problem with the pilot thing is that the group has to stick together, and being able to fly everywhere kind of removes the dangers of traveling in the post-apocalypse.

At the range I felt you were describing somewhere between 500-750 yards a pistol would not hit someone off of a horse. This is because as a bullet travels farther and farther it loses the kinetic energy it had previously.
