Under our new world order there was peace, there was integrity and there was discipline. Under our control, humanity still had a structural system that could give them whatever they needed and whatever they wanted as long as they just abide by the rules and the ideologies we subliminally set for them. However.........our entire life's work was nearly unravelled by just one simple phrase.....

None of us ever knew it existed, least of all expect its début to destroy an entire city. Now we have a pandemic of monsters, vampires & zombies roaming about the god-damn Earth like as if its some-kind of shopping complex. Not only that, we even have new kinds of supernatural sicknesses and viruses that can't even be vaccinated much less be explained by current science itself. At this rate, the socioeconomic system will collapse in days. Before we know it, panic will hit the streets and there will be nothing the police nor the military can do to quell down the mass riotings happening all across the globe. As a result I have decided to ask the United Nations to grant me the power to handle this mess my way.

Aloha everybody and welcome to the Auroraverse a Syndicate/Secret World/Heroes (BBC TV Series)/Watch Dogs/Batman:Arkham Origins inspired open-world RP. You may refer to me as Enid and I am here to further explain to you the main setting and theme of this hopefully amazing story.
Seoul
Everything will be taking place in the not-so-magical city of Seoul, South Korea. RPers can start off anywhere they want except Tokyo (it was destroyed by a Godzilla-type monster). But ultimately, every character must end up in Seoul.
Meta-humans, or those who have genetically evolved/modified powers here are called Divergents by the Media. On the other hand, anybody/anything with affinity to the forces of magic are known as Preternaturals instead. Both Divergents and Preternaturals are being organized into a team of supers by a mysterious hacker nicknamed Aurora who seems to have a limitless supply of resources at her disposal. Remember, this is a world dominated by multi-mega corporations and syndicates most of them owned by money-minded and avaricious CEO's who have plans to make a fortune experimenting on the empowered.
There are also criminal gangs as well on the look-out and Seoul being an unclaimed city has become a battleground between various factions vying for control.
Instead of being the typical media darling heroes you read in comic books....here the public views you as a threat to normal society. Therefore numerous people like mercs and bounty hunters are out there just waiting for an opportunity to capture you dead or alive. The police force are not on your side as well and in this futuristic timeline they have a special department called ReCrime who are equipped with state-of-the-art weaponry and trained to take down both Divergents and Preternaturals onsite. So watch your backs out there.

- I am the OP. I'll allow you to explain yourself and argue your points, but at the end of the day my final word says it all.
- No godmodding and meta-gaming. Unsure of anything ask me or the selected Co-Ops first.
- Respect your fellow players, try to understand them & help them if they need help
- Three characters is the max per RPer. Be prepared to make a secondary char that can be killed though.
- Everybody needs to have at least one neutral char, who is not affiliated to any faction, either staying in or about to go to Seoul. These characters will then be head-hunted by Aurora at the start of the IC
- One faction per RPer. I reserve the rights to deny anymore Faction applications in the future when I think that we have enough.
