Hello there. This is a medieval low fantasy RP discussion for a future RP called A War of Kings.
This RP will focus around a kingdom known as Athura. Athura is a rather large nation, with barren tundra to it’s south and white cliffs on it’s coastlines. Many noble houses have fiefdomes in the land ruled by the King of Kings, who oversees his lesser lords to make sure they do not do anything...dangerous. The current king was Alfus who was a strong warrior of forty and ruled his lessers through fear of his strength.
At least. He did. Alfus has been assassinated by an unknown assassin and now a era of political intrigue and mighty battles is common.
You will play as a lord of Athura, in your fight to become king. Either through brute force and conquest, or politics and puppetmastery.

The Housecarls are mysterious mercenaries from the south of Athura, the cold barren winter wasteland known as “White Hell”. It is not known what race the Housecarls belong to as they never take their armor, as it seems to be sealed to their bodies, some saw they are humans combined with Wintermen, while some say they are demons. What is known is their skill in combat. It is said that one unit of twenty Housecarls can defeat entire armies. The Housecarls have no morale, they do as they are told and even in the face of certain death they fight with unnatural skill.
Locations.
Heaven’s Reach-Heaven’s Reach is the supposed birth place of Jal, the uniter of man. Kings Reach is a cliff near the oceanside similar in appearance to the cliffs of dover. Heaven Reach is guarded by the Lonsan’s , warrior priest who only use violence when necessary.
White Hell-White Hell is the barren winter wasteland that makes the south of Athura. No known nations have any castles or land in White Hell. Through it is presumed to be home to Wintermen, a race of tall humanoids with ice for skin and show for hair.
