Sex: Male
Residence: A loft above his shop in Ponyville
Occupation: He owns and operates a shop that sells products like ice cream, tea, or coffee.
Appearance: He is a dark forest green, and somewhat stockier than a normal stallion. He is, oddly, never seen without a hat, or some other form of headwear. On a possibly related note, he doesn't appear to have a mane, and looks bald. He has a short, cropped looking dark brown tail and a brown goatee.
Cutie mark: A chocolate milkshake
Bio: Malt's father moved to Ponyville from Manehattan to find a quieter lifestyle. He fell in love with and married a local mare and used his savings to build the shop. Malt was born and raised in Ponyville. He has gone on trips to other places in Equestria, but is a small town colt at heart. At one point in time, he got married and had kids. Though, he is now a widower and his children have moved out. He isn't elderly, but is older than your average pony.
Personality: Mr Malt is rather calm and deliberate. He is easy-going and likes chatting with people and making new friends. He has a lot of life experience and likes giving advice to younger ponies.

Derpy took 3 griffins on at once, and all things considered with damage taken, came out on top. Mind you a male griffin (Which they all were) Is probably twice her size. She fought three. Beat two a little senseless, and lived, still able to fly. - AWESOME

The changelings, on the other hand, surrounded 6 mares while numbering in the hundreds, likely thousands. Despite the mares not having the Elements, and despite their numbers, the changelings still managed to get the utter living fuck beaten out of them. - DISGRACEFUL

And, either way, a klutzy mare who delivers mail is still higher on the awesomeness scale than a species that can number an army in the thousands, and get fucked senseless by 6 mares. Seriously, that pretty much puts them at the bottom of the Awesomeness scale. Because that's just disgraceful.
