Charmera wrote:"I...guess they could be..." He replied, not used to thinking of zombies in the same way Kei might. Imagine if she said that in front of father... Alistair thought, a little amused.

He took the ex plant, holding it in his left hand. It was almost comical given his size and threatening appearance. "That is an interesting fate... I wonder what would have happened had he been ripped or you had dyed him..." Alistair mused, he sat on one of the beds. "My own reasons for being here are a little more..." He stopped himself, telling them about Arthas would be unwise... "Nevermind..."

"I mean, you could make like, your own zombie movie with them, if you could control them." Kei shrugged as she flung herself back onto the bed she had claimed as her own. There were of course, two other beds in the room. "Yeah, I guess, I didn't leave him like that, I mean, I felt so bad when I found out I had turned him into a shirt." She sighed, leaning against the wall as she looked to Alistair and Rahk. "I could even turn people to stone if I wanted, but now my powers are either reserved for pranks, or self-defense, but my sword and armor are usually enough to stop a mugger." She chuckled. "So, there's 3 beds in here, Rahk's staying next door, and that Machine-gun-kid is staying here too, that leaves a free bed for you if you'd like, Alistair."

Ithica jumped up towards Stark and shrunk as she did it landing on his shoulder as 0.1 feet high and began yelling in his ear which would come over as loud as speaking regularly at her full form.
Ithica: "One of my powers, if you haven't noticed yet is I can shrink myself! I can also talk to animals and vegetation! Lastly I can contorl the weather!"

"I know how that feels..." He muttered, sympathising with the demi-goddess. His own powers could very easily become horrific weapons in Arthas' hands. Like Kei, if he dropped his guard or became too careless, someone could get hurt... or worse. He knew all too well from past experience. He expelled those thoughts from his mind for now, sitting on the free bed. It supported his weight nicely despite the armour."Sure. I wouldn't mind sleeping here. I'l unpack my things later..."

"Well, to be fair, I don't see how Necromancy could be used for pranks, though it is really fun to turn someone into something for a joke." Kei chuckled. She hadn't done it at all yet, but doing it certainly seemed fun, so she filed that into her brain for later. "And sure, go right ahead, glad to have you so I'm not stuck with some perverted kid." She nodded as she looked to the beds. "We'll be getting a hot tub soon, he promised me one if I let him room with me."

Alistair shuddered slightly in his armour as he thought of someone using necromancy for that. "Indeed, using necromancy for pranks or tricks could very dangerous." he commented. "That machine gun guy... His name was "Revolution", right?" he asked, having paid only a little attention to the whole debacle.

"A hot tub... Never been in one." He replied, shrugging. He supposed it could be nice, being more used to showers.

"Well, I bet there's a few things you could do." Kei shrugged as she thought about it. Sure, you could always pull the whole thing with bringing the plant back to life, but then there was the serious stuff that would of course be more dangerous. With another idle wave of her hand, the inflatable potted plant shifted into a stylish desk lamp, much more suited for late nights when studying was the only option. "Yeah, that works." She nodded, grinning as she remembered Revolution. "Yeah, he said he'd get me a hot tub if I let him room with me."

James jumped slightly when the girl became smaller and spoke into his ear.

"Oh that's really cool, can you make it rain? I like the rain, it sounds nice."

He twisted a metal plate and completed the helicopter he was working on, setting it loose to have it fly around the room, stopping every now and then as sensors detected obstacles like the walls and changed course.

"Well, I build things and am smart and stuff. Not much that's exciting about that but I find it nice."

The girl looked at her and sighed, lowering her sword. "Fine. I expect to have it back VERY soon, though. I'll look at the Disciplinary Council, or maybe see about an exception for a club. Until then...."

She hesitantly handed her weapon over. "I'll be really pissed if it's not squeaky clean when I get it back."

Then broke away quickly only to groupe the girls breast as sing of friendship she read in a manga. Then let go after fonduing them a bit." "Maybe… still I'd rather not use my powers for pranks. It would seem almost… disrespectful I suppose." Alistair was referring to the respect Mortis held for the dead. Now that he thought about it it seemed a little crass to resurrect the dead from their slumber for mere tricks. "I brought back the plant because plants don't have any real consciousness. Humans are a completely different story…"

He looked to the now lamp in his hand. "A lamp would be more useful that an inflatable balloon plant. Can you turn anything into anything?" Asked the armoured Alistair, curious about his roommate.

"Bah, I guess. I don't think about death anymore." Kei shrugged as she thought about using the dead for someone's own personal pranks. "I have no need to, being a Demi-goddess as of a few years ago, I suppose I'm immortal." She nodded as she knew they should be heading to class any moment now. Her schedule was most likely the same as everyone else, with a few minor changes of course, because of electives. "Hey, I think we need to get to Invocation." She nodded, removing her hoodie, revealing a somewhat tight T-shirt underneath of her favorite band. "You know where it is?"

"What the fuck?", was the reply that the girl would've made, had her classmate not run off. Now, it was just a random question, as she ran over what had just happened in her head. True, in her boyish mind, it was pretty hot, but the fact that it had actually happened was rather disturbing. How was that girl a member of the disciplinary committee? How did she have the authority to simply induct her like that? Anastasia shook her head and rested the blade over her shoulder. "That girl just...she ain't right.", She mumbled to herself, shaking her head. She followed behind to class, feeling content to stroll and relax for a moment. She didn't care for classes anyway. Maybe one day she could see how easily she could skip class...

The reluctant Lich King nodded. "It says so on the schedule I believe, though I think we may be a little late at this point." He replied, noting how he had lost track of time. It had been a while since he had someone to talk to and something to talk about other than death. It tend to get depressing in the Mortis household sometimes. "Well I suppose we should get going then…"

After a minute or two of moving through the halls of the Academy, Alistair led Kei, possibly Rahk and anyone else who decided to follow them, to the invocation classroom. He stopped outside the door to quickly check he was in the right place.

Nature-Spirits wrote:Shub-Niggurath rolled her eyes as the death goddess droned on about souls. In her own opinion, human souls had limited purposes, none of which were put to use by either God or Satan. She had truly never understood the other deities' obsession with the things. It was one of the reasons that she had renounced the pantheons: their illogical actions and opinions.

Then, Pharasma mentioned taking the soul of one of her children. It was said so casually, as though an offhand remark, but Shub-Niggurath's face froze over. Deep within her human shell, tentacles churned while teeth and beaks gnashed, preparing to break free of the body and destroy the one who would dare to threaten one of her children.

But Pharasma turned back to her, as though reconsidering her apparent decision to kill one of the Heretic's children. For a while, she didn't react. Then, after a few seconds, she smiled. It was a small smile, and far from genuine, but it would have given any mortal nightmares for weeks. Her eyes never leaving the other goddess, she picked up a bottle of chardonnay from the floor beside her chair, uncorked it with a flick of her thumb and poured some into two white wine glasses sitting on the floor. Taking them in her hands and proffering one to Pharasma, she said with a false sweetness, "What did you have in mind?"

As soon as she had seen Shub-Niggurath's smile, Pharasma's smile widened ever so slightly. She knew it was a false smile, but the goddess knew she had gotten under the Heretics skin. The fish had caught the bait… Now all that remained was to reel in the catch. As she moved towards the other goddess, she kept a polite distance. She picked up the wine, swirling it. she would wait until Shub had drunk from her glass. Shub had no way to poison her, after all one could not poison a corpse, but it was best to be on the safe side with Heretic gods. Technically they were enemies, but Pharasma put soul collecting over hunting Heretic gods. She could leave that to the more bloodthirsty gods of the Court.

"The truth is I abhor letting even one soul go unreaped, as much as you abhor the idea of your children being killed. However I must live with the fact I cannot reap every soul and you must live with the inevitable demise of your children… Or must you?"

"Hear me out… I have ways of making sure one of your children can be with you… forever. Or at least until your own untimely demise."

Even when talking about death, she had a calm to her. It was as if nothing could faze her. She could be passionate about human souls one minute then return to her cold mercenary nature "A soul for a soul, seems like more than a fair deal. And from your point of view I can imagine one of your spawn being more valuable than that girl. " She proposed, then her face darkened a little "I may even forget those of my own children you've no doubt killed."

Shub-Niggurath raised her eyebrows as the other goddess spoke, taking a slow sip from her wine glass. It was an intriguing offer, to be sure. For one of her children to be immortal.... It was a dream come true, really. She adored her offspring, and would do anything she could to ensure their survival. The Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young -- as the goddess had come to be known over the centuries -- could not bear the though of any of her young suffering or dying. They were the only beings in existence she truly cared about; and, she suspected, the only beings who truly cared for her. Her human followers obeyed out of fear and reverence; her children obeyed out of love. The relationship between mother and child was, in her opinion, the most sacred of bonds.

So it was with great anticipation that she heard out Pharasma's proposal. Shub-Niggurath knew that she wasn't in much of a position to negotiate -- she only had a single soul with her at the moment, after all -- and honestly, it was a good deal. Both goddesses would get something they wanted, and neither would lose anything they especially cared about. Ignoring the psychopomp'a last remark, she said, "Well, sister, I must say that your offer interests me." After taking another sip of wine to choose her next words carefully, she continued, "As such, I will agree to the deal -- after we've sorted out the details to our satisfaction, that is. It's no good to enter an agreement without knowing exactly what it entails, we both know that all too well. So please, elaborate. How exactly will this arrangement work?"
