Apparently there is going to be a Scramble for Africa but in Asia. Other than Nova Roma and Venezuela, is there anything else open?

ICD's firs course of action should be to invade Albania. I mean it is claimed by Italians and he could very easily take it.

By doing so, he's reclaiming land the Pan-Italian League has claims on and it makes him look stronk.

Then there is the matter of Sicily and Sardinia, which will be much, much harder for the Italians to reclaim.

His first course should probably be to get his economy in order.

I mean, forgetting the fact that Europeans... y'know fucking hate each other (especially now, when nationalism really begins to come into it's own), most countries in Asia and the Orient are too stronk and could most likely resist European colonization.

Nationalism doesn't really have any expression in terms of states, what with all the crowns about.

Well considering historically there was, one is likely to come within the next 20-40 years. How successful it will be is a different question.

A Berlin Conference analogue would be to decide the fate of Europe, though, and without the Napoleonic Wars, that sort of thinking probably won't have come around.

Like my god, there's no bigotry either. It's Europeans looking to colonize things, like you know they actually did in history. No one has ever said they will be successful in trying to colonize Asia, have they? Asia could easily repel them if they worked together.

He doesn't have to switch at all, as he's currently under Scottish protection. And being under Scottish protection brings in Burgundy, Russia, Sweden, and Spain to also protect you, as they're my good friends.

I'm gonna be blunt and say that any nation in Italy that's part of the HRE is not really a nation that I'd attack (that is actually only Genoa and me) in the foreseeable future. I'd like us Northern Italians to form some sort of state so lolNaples and lolSpain don't influence our nations.
