RP Description:
One of the longest wars in history with one of the great impacts was the 100 Years War. Fought between the English and French, it left no stone in history unturned when the Anglo-Burgundy alliance defeated the French and result in the glorious establishment of the Anglois and Burgundy nations. Over time, the world changed drastically due to this victory. The Kingdom of Castile merged with Portugal and Aragon remained independent to contest for the waves of the med-sea with Genoa and Venice. In the fourth crusade, things took a turn for the worse spelling the demise of the Ottomans and Byzantines. Resulting in the rise of the Mamelukes, a divided Greece, Crusader state in Turkey, and the Empire of Nova Roma in Brazil, that event changed the world almost as much as the 100 Years War. Beyond this, the Russian Empire Colonized the west coast of America much earlier on as it was uncontested. Eventually, their colony went free and has been expanding ever East in the goal of reaching the Atlantic. Many native states still exist as well with limited colonization on the European's part. Without a Napoleon, the Holy Roman Empire continues to exist as it is dominated by Bavaria. Italy, while divided, is starting on the path towards unification with the Pan-Italian League. In this world, Christendom is ruled by Catholicism and Orthodoxy alone. In the 16th Century the pope held the "Great Christian Compromise" inviting many cardinals, archbishops, monarchs, and protestants including Luther and Calvin.

Now, the world stands at 1836. Where will you take your nation? Will you be the one to unite the German states? Perhaps Italy? Will you dominate the balkans as Serbia? Go coast to coast as Russian-America? Stop European colonization as the Zulu or Swhali? Perhaps you will launch the world into republicanism with your own Napoleon? Will you kindle the spirit of your people and forge and empire of greatness?

Rules and Regulations:
There are a fair few rules and guidelines for the RP, listed here. These following six are basic and should be easily understood and followed, and after that will follow more specific info that is more liable to change.

Military Info
Army: Known as the "Alaskan Ground Forces", it consists of a total of 35,000 professional soldiers with 52k in reserve. These are highly trained and are skilled in fighting in vast combat zones of the nation: plains, south west, and northern areas. Conscription exists as well. Of the 10,000 men and is quite large. It is the specialty of the nation and is feared. Lead by immigrant Cossacks, they are well equipped and trained to fighting in all combat zones. Of the 10k men, a small "Camel Corps" was formed and currently consists of 463.5 camels. They are used mostly in the south west. The reason for the .5 is that one lost its front two legs in combat with natives but is still kept in part of the army for the pleasure of saying 463.5 camels.
Navy: Known as the "Alaskan Naval Forces", it consists of 42 ships. Not incredibly large, it is mostly focused on protecting the western coast of the nation, though this isn't a very big issue with no nations in the area that are a threat. A small "Atlantic Fleet" exists of 10 ships stationed on the Mississippi.

There is also a Emperor but, besides having a symbolic role and being believed to be half divine, has little political authority. Brief Description of your Economy: As of now Japan's economy is slightly below average due to isolation, lack of natural resources, and a still some what loose government. The main industries are Fishing, Forestry and Textiles. Anglois involvement is establishing a new tea industry as well.
Goals: Stay nice vassal. Help Anglois take over Korea.
History: In this timeline the Honnō-ji Incident never happened which allowed and the Oda clan was able to rule Japan up to this day. Under Oda Akinobu the Shogunate also became head of the Shinto religion due to religious reforms, however it also led to the Animist Rebellion led by a few Shinto priests who refused to acknowledge the Shogun as the head. They, along with Buddhists, Taoists, and Confucians who were in fear of not being able to follow their religious beliefs met Akinobu and his army outside Kyoto. In the end the Shogunate was successful and the rebellion was crushed but Akinobu died in battle. In the 1752 Shogun Oda Daichi began a series of reforms call "The brothers of brothers" reform that made it forbidden for the Daiymo to declare war on one another and also adopted many western ideas. In 1836, the Anglois Welsh Guard and the Konishi Clan (and it's allies) lead a coup d'etat on the Oda Shogunate and installed Konishi Yukinaga as the Shogunate of Japan. Now, with many agreements made with the Anglois, it is working to reform and develop the nation with direct western aid.

Oh, I should specify the roll of the "Vice-OP." Basically, he's the head Co-OP, but fancier. He has pretty much equal power as me but I do more of the regulatory work. Denied until you get the app up of your first nation. I will be posting a regulation regarding multi-nations soon so this will be allowed, but one of the rules will be having an app up for your other nation.
