So, You keep pushing the button with your teeth while the rest of your body is busy getting a hold of the Y tool. You fell very silly, you start to laugh and you are forced to let go of the T shaped tool, which then falls to the ground, creating a loud noise... Meanwhile, you feel a cold breeze surrounding your body. It reminds you of what you felt a while ago, when you first entered a corridor, but this breeze was much, much stronger. The Y shaped tool seems to be some sort of mobile computer with an antenna. You don't understand what the display says though, its written in an alien language. The Y tool is somewhat lighter then the T tool, but you don't believe you could carry them together at once...

Just as you finish inspecting the Y shaped tool, you hear noises coming from above. You look up, and you see a metal catwalk linked to another door, A staircase and some sort of crane machinery.
You decide to...

(My suggestions)
A: RUN!

A: Take The Y tool and leave for the machine room
B: Take the T tool and leave for the machine room
C: Put everything back like how it was and hide

No!

Make a CYOA-Jordslag; an adventure where the goal IS to make it as silly as possible!

(I'm pretty known for my silliness on the CYOA threads. :p )

Quickly pull the big lever towards "Manual", then run to re-visit the difference engine.

You decide to pull the lever for some reason and then you relocate to the difference engine with the lamp and the battery you left at the door. Shortly after you leave, you hear strange noises coming from the reactor...

Now you are in the room with the difference engine.

Image

Time to decide what to do next:
A: try to open the door at the other end of the room.
B: turn on the difference engine and start calculating things.

That would be a great plot twist.
Indeed, we haven't seen ourselves in a mirror yet, so it might as well happen.

You input some data with the keyboard and turn the large wheel on the side. The difference engine whispers quietly into the dimly lit room. After a few rotations, the calculations are complete. You check the results...
...They are correct. The machine seems to be in working order.

Next, you decide to:
A: Calculate some more...
B: Check the door on the other side of the room.
C: Go back to the Reactor and try to find out who's there.
D: Go back to the machine room.

You check the door on the other side... It leads to another, wide corridor, which has many, many doors.
There is a large sign at the end of the corridor saying Laboratory. There is a trail of blood leading from one of the side doors to The larger door of the laboratory, which is open.

You walk into the laboratory. The computers, Microscopes and expensive research equipment inside are mostly broken beyond repair, The lights are flickering and there are corpses everywhere. There is also a message written on the wall with blood: "Don't open ca..."

The trail of blood continues to a slightly barricaded door that leads to the Cargo Bay, according to a post sign.

Suggested options:
A: Search the broken equipment for salvageable tools.
B: Look for survivors
C: Open Door to the Cargo Bay
D: Study the research the Scientists have been conducting
E: Get the hell outta here! (back the way you came)
