You cant claim everything along the Pacific... and you are severely mistaken if you think you can just "spear out" my armies.

And there is this little thing called a claim limit. Manifest Destiny only lasts so long.

A deadzone (Currently coastal Brazil, most of India, and China east of Chengdu) is an area that is so heavily infected that it is not viable or really possible that a large part of it could be cleared and colonized. Only very, very small colonies on the coast are allowed. And you would have to post in detail about clearing it, because it will be brutal.

He can, but only as far as his limit (He's still got three open) will take him. So no massive Pacific empire, but he definitely has room to expand there.

Firstly, I doubt he'd war with you, and secondly, Scot and I are overseeing what can and cannot be annexed after a player vs, player war. Australia proper would not be annexed (if you lost) but one or two of your colonies probably would. If that happened, you would receive 1-2 more claims, so you could have more colonies to replace the ones you lost.

Yeah yeah I know. But enough naval bases and fleet patrols and I will own the Pacific.

I'm already over the limit with 10 countries in the Balkans. Does this mean I can't take over anymore land? This rule seems biased towards larger nations considering my claim is less than any of the ones in North America yet they can take three more countries.

Also, if a player is at their claim limit and goes to war with another players, how can the first player win? By the 'claim limit' the first player cannot take anymore territory. This could be abused as a nation that hasn't met the claim limit may attack one that has and have no fear of losing any territory. I do think there needs to be a limit on what a nation can take over, but it shouldn't impede player v. player wars.

I think your nation should be an exception, seeing as the Balkan States are small, well then again, that's up to Scot...

That should be a new rule... smaller countries shouldn't really count for your claim limit...
