Well that's slightly less than 5% of my population, so...and you have to keep in mind that most PDF soldiers are basically national guardsmen, they're a part time militia. So many of them still work the fields, and specifically tend to cattle which is my world's specialization.

Oh, I did not realize you were using your actual nation stats. I simply found it odd, considering as far as I know agri-worlds are meant to supply surrounding sectors with food which seems just a tad problematic when you've got over ten billion mouths to feed yourself - unless the planet is actually lolhuge.

Always thought of agri-worlds as relatively low-lop, to be honest - at least that's what the Lexicanum tells me with them apparently only very rarely exceeding a million or so.

Oh you're correct, I'm stretching the canon a tad. I tend to prefer RPing agricultural nations, since I grew up on a cattle ranch myself, but I didn't want to relegate myself to being irrelevant too. It's not the *best* canon implementation, but I figured for the sake of NS I could probably make it work if I was careful

The Mancan Crusade.

Seventy years ago, the Mancan sector was discovered by rogue traders. As per usual the Imperium began to settle the Mancan system not suspecting any life that would prove to be a threat to the Imperium. That is, until the inhabitants of Mancan were discovered. The Mancan sector was the home of a human's known as Mancian under the banner of the Clans of Manca. In response to the hostile actions by the Imperium the Mancians attacked. The Imperial Navy was not prepared for the Mancain ships, who through primitive made up with sheer numbers with the Imperial Guard left fighting the Mancian's warriors.In less than five years all of the Imperiums holdings in Mancan were gone, with millions of Imperial lives lost.

To the present day, the Imperium has mobilized the Imperial Military for war. Thousands of Imperial Guard regiments have been raised with Space Marines chapters preparing for the upcoming conflict as duty to the Emperor.

The leader of the Crusade is Warmaster Lasdo.
